Everything absolutely fantastic, one of the best hotels we stayed at from every perspective - ocean directly at your doorstep, fantastic people working in the hotel, food, design - simply everything!

from moment 1 it's all about the visitor. We arrived later than the opening hours from the restaurant since our flight was delayed. They've provided a light evening meal without even asking. What a way to start someones journey! They can help you with your plans to visit the island, direct book your whale watching tour, etc. Exceptional way to make feel guests at home. Keep this up!

The view is magical; it was the perfect reset. The food, the ambiance, the staff! Sandra, Anna, and Joao were the best and most helpful persons and the best concierge. Also, the young men working the kitchen, and the staff were so wonderful!! They truly think of everything, and I would come back in a heartbeat! It was luxury.

This hotel is a design jewel located almost halfway between Ponta Delgada and Lagoa, hence perfect for day excursions in São Miguel island. What makes this hotel so special is the meticulous and design-conscious use of local materials in a rough way (wabi-sabi). Everything in this hotel has high quality, the materials and the food to mention a few. What I liked the most in this hotel is the professionalism of the staff, yet so uncomplicated, light and easy-going. The room service was exceptionally good. Even the trainee at the reception, although in her third day, was doing great. General Manager Joao Almeida, congratulations for the great job training your team and providing your guests with the best service possible. The room was spacy, the beds comfortable. The pool is not heated but there is a heated Jacuzzi which I used every night before going to bed. That wasn't a problem for me. This hotel is one of the best I ever had and by far the best one I had in the Azores.

It felt more like a luxury eco-lodge than a hotel. Location is beautiful with the most amazing sunsets and sunrise which I have ever seen. Everything looks news and stylish. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Sandra and Rebecca made our stay very comfortable. Food was good in the restaurant, though evening menu is rather small. We appreciated the focus on sustainability.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The sounds of the ocean were magnificent when the doors were open and yet the room was quiet when the balcony doors were closed. Breakfast was delicious. I appreciated every day cleaning and it was exceptionally well-done. I was very grateful for the quick and quality dry cleaning service. The decor was stunning and supportive to the beauty of the island. A major highlight was my relaxation time with Ricardo - a light-filled Soul with a high-frequency vibe who gave me amazing insights.

The timing of the automatic lighting in the hallway on the second floor was slightly off. I also had a time getting up the stairs in the dark as there are no stair lights at night. I also needed more light in my room to do work. Luckily, a front desk person brought up an extra lamp which worked very well. I would recommend two more plug outlets under the counter near the television for plugging in a computer or charging a phone.

The property is serene and beautifully maintained. the views are unmatched. the staff were so kind and accommodating. the rooms were peaceful and luxurious.

Every element of this boutique hotel was exceptional. They even provide each suite a fully functional cell phone. The staff is professional and welcoming. Truly outstanding! If I could, I’d stay there forever.

The view is beautiful just in front of the ocean. The breakfast is excellent and the 2 times we had dinner were great. The personnel is fantastic, a special thank you to Joao, Iluisa, Sandra and Rebecca. Overall, it was a memorable 5 day experience.

Stunning location overlooking the Atlantic. Beautifully designed and loved the ceramic and the art work. Staff was absolutely amazing. There was an issue with the hot water in our room, so after the first night they upgraded us and everything was perfect. Food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, ate there both nights of our stay and so far our best meals on the island. Yoga with an instructor on the deck was also great, wish we had time to stay for a massage and to do Sup Yoga! We really didn't want to leave!

White Exclusive Suites and Villas is an exceptional property with great views of the ocean. Rooms are clean, bed is very comfort bale, staff is friendly and willing to make recommendation for day trips. Food was outstanding better than any high end restaurant.

The view and how secluded the place is are amazing. The entire property and the rooms are decorated in a very nice way. The quality of the food is very high, they aim to serve local products and everything we tried was excellent. Breakfast was included for us and was à la carte, a welcome change from most places.

The service of the restaurant staff was very underwhelming. It took us 40 minutes to get an order in for breakfast (keep in mind there are less than 10 rooms) despite going inside to call on people. Once ordered, half of the juices were forgotten. Dinner was probably the worst experience I've had in a long time: They served 2 of the 4 pre-dinner drinks right away, and the remaining drinks 30 minutes later. I never was served a steak knife for my steak (no matter how buttery the steak, a fish knife won't do). Despite entering everything into little tablets, half of the order was frequently forgotten. Unfortunately, there is no one onsite to escalate to, so while we managed to switch waiter, it did not improve over all. We found the overall experience not in line with the price they ask.

The location is dreamlike, as is the infinity pool. The welcome platter with cheese, fruit and wine, as well as chocolates was also lovely. The extras, like towels, an umbrella and a bag were useful during our stay. The receptionists were also friendly upon arrival and check-out. They helped with our bags and made us feel welcome.

There was a massive cockroach that I had to kill in the bathroom immediately after check-in. There was also quite a bit of mold in the bathroom. The breakfast service was very slow and we waited 40 minutes and chased down a server twice before finally getting a coffee. Both mornings, we needed over an hour and a half to eat breakfast. The staff was very inexperienced and not well-informed on the inner workings of the hotel and were unhelpful and often unfriendly when assistance was requested.

The location was stunning. We never wanted to leave, but when we did Joua was amazing at setting up anything we needed. The staff went above and beyond! The food was incredible.

Getting hot water for the shower in the morning was a bit if a challenge.
