HURRICANE ERMA DID PUT A DAMPER ON THINGS. WE LOST 6 DAYS OF OUR MONTH. THE CONDO IS NICE BUT COULD USE SOME IMPROVEMENTS. THE VIEW AND BALCONY ARE THE BEST. THE PROPERTY OWNER IS THE VERY BEST TO WORK WITH.

The condo comes as advertised. We had plenty of space, the condo was clean, and very functional. I decided if I was going to write a review I would give as much detail, in a condensed way, so that others would be able to make an informed decision on this property. I will also be honest in my review. The kitchen was well appointed and had all the necessary items. I would say the only thing missing was a kettle. The master bed room was very spacious as was the walk-in closet and the master bathroom. The shower is large and the water pressure is decent. The shower head was fairly low, and being 6'5" tall it was a little tricky but nothing worth complaining about. The King bed was very comfy! The second bedroom was large enough to accommodate the two single beds for my 17 year and 15 year kids. The beds themselves were a little uncomfortable but manageable. The second bathroom was in very good shape as well. The living room area and dinette area were very spacious and very comfortable. WIfI was present and worked perfectly throughout the unit. The highlight of course is the balcony with its beautiful beach views. There were plenty of comfy chairs and two lounge chairs out there to relax on so the evenings were simply enchanting. Philip has an assortment of beach chairs (4) and an umbrella stored in a closet to take down to the beach, and all were in good working order. Unfortunately, we did encounter a serious problem with the AC Unit which did not function properly for most of our stay. This of course was not the fault of the owner Philip as he did the best he could to work on rectifying the problem with the local service company. It did put a slight damper on our visit but we appreciate all the hard work Philip did to get the problem fixed without disrupting our vacation. So kudos to Philip for his excellent customer service and caring for his renters! Outside, there was a very nice lounge area which was a perfect place to enjoy a drink and watch the sun set, in the beautiful evening breeze. The beach was outstanding of course!! Super clean, warm Gulf water!! The pool was also in great shape and we enjoyed some fun in there as well. My family has made the trip down from Montreal, Canada to the Coast about 12 times in the last 15 years so we know a thing or two about condos on the beach. This one is top-notch and I would certainly be coming back! Thank you Philip for making your home, ours.

First just have to say, "Phillip", the owner is a great person to work with. Even before we stayed, we needed a special accommodation & he was able to grant it with no hesitation. The Montmartre Condos are located at what I call the very end of Sand Key's tall condo buildings in Belleair. It has a direct Gulf View & direct Sound view via the pretty Belleair Marina. As the building is only 3 living levels, it is very quiet & the beach is sparsely populated, which makes for a very peaceful & serene beach experience. The building is located close to the gulf, so sitting in the living room/bedroom you get a close up view of the waves lapping on the beach & get to experience the lulling sounds of the waves. It may be an older building, but it has some unique condo features you don't see in newer buildings. What I really liked is that the 2nd bedroom can be turned into a private bedroom on suite so that if renting with two couples or older children who want their privacy, they get it with this unit. How? The unit has pocket doors! Close the pocket door to the main hallway & you have a private suite! Looking at the pictures you may think that the unit is in need of an update, but have patience. Phillip is in the several year process of doing updating. The unit is recently repainted, has had done a small renovation in the kitchen taking down a half wall to open it up & has installed can ceiling lights the length of the main living area. They are on 3 different switches, one for Kitchen, Dining room & Living room & are dimmer lights! Of course, you can see in the pictures he's upgraded the living rooms' TV, but what you may not realize is that he's also updated the TV's in the bedrooms. The TV in the living room has RoKu & Netflix, so you can get many of your shows on demand. My husband just loved having that ability. What Philips' description fails to note is that he also has installed a new A/C unit within the last year, has a pretty new stack washer/dryer & has installed the "NEST" environmental control for heat & A/C. So, what I advise is that you rent this unit fast while it's still in the renovating process over the next several years 'cause once Phillips' done, you won't be able to afford it anymore. Believe me for the few small updating things that most people may quibble about, like the older furniture or older kitchen/baths,.....the VIEW, LOCATION, SERENITY & PRICE can't be had for any similar unit in the area! from 28 May to 7 July 2016. The apartment is large and well stocked, the TV is very large and equipped with netflix. Ideal for a long, relaxing vacation with a rare and unique views of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen in my life. Dine on the balcony and feel the sea breeze, relax before going to bed with the sound of the sea, the walks in the morning on the beach, perhaps the most beautiful in the area, where you can meet quite often dolphins and manatees. And if the sea is rough then you can dive in the pool. In a word: fantastic. Then the owner Phil is very helpful and attentive with any issues being proposed to him. Ideale per chi vuole fare una vacanza AL MARE. La spiaggia è di fronte, meno di 50 metri dall'appartamento che gode di una vista spettacolare sui tramonti meravigliosi della Florida. Belleair Beach è uno dei quartieri in dell'area metropolitana di Clearwoter. L'appartamento è vicino alla vita notturna di Clearwoter Beach e ad altre mille attrazioni in zona. Superconsigliato agli stranieri, la comunità che risiede nel condominio è accolgiente e socievole, tanto da far sentire a casa dal primo minuto.
