We enjoyed our stay. Perfect stay for our needs.

The house was on the ocean and has a beautiful ocean view. However, the house has bug everywhere, particularly kitchen cabinets. The bug climbed in my phone and clothes. The owner needs to deep clean the house. Won’t recommend to others.

The location of this property is amazing - you couldn't get a better view of the ocean and the sunsets were unreal from either lanai. It was well-stocked with everything we needed, and I still have moments of zen thinking about sleeping with the door open to the master and hearing the waves. The second bedroom is on the smaller side but had it's own air conditioner and the beds were comfortable. The parking, as described, was tight if you have a bigger vehicle, but we backed in an it wasn't an issue. The location is the reason to book this property and you won't be disappointed. We walked to town a couple of times, and loved all of the restaurants and shops. Every place we ate had an amazing view of the ocean. We highly recommend Hapuna Beach, one of the harder to find sandy beaches, and taking a snorkeling boat trip and SUP. I would love to go back again. We love Maui, but the Big Island was such a treat.

The property was just as advertised and was in a perfect spot in Kona to access shopping and restaurants with just a short walk.

This property is closer than oceanfront, we were practically in the ocean and had great sunsets.

Our stay here was wonderful, the view is breathtaking and the fish in the wave made us not want to leave the balconies! Mark was more than accommodating, considering we had to change our date because of Covid. So glad we finally got to go to this wonderful home.

The location of this place was great! Only a short walk into Kona and right on the water. The lanai was perfect and we spent a lot of time on it. Unfortunately, the place was not clean. It smelled musty, the linens were gray and ragged, and small ants were on the counter tops. There was also an abundance of leftover food from previous guests. Lanai table and washing machine were very rusty.

We spent two wonderful weeks at this property and truly did not want to go home.. The condo had everything from a fully stocked kitchen, to A/C through out the unit but most importantly a view like no other. The property manager was super easy to get a hold if need be, and made sure that everything was perfect the moment we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location to kona and all the shops. 2.4 miles from magic white sand beach highly recommend. Dolphins playing in the ocean right behind condo. Would definitely rent this place again. Thanks the Smiths

We have stayed in a number of VRBO's on Hawaiian islands and this one is the best so far. It was clean, quiet, well-appointed, and in a great location. There are AC's and fans in each room and they actually work! And the view from the balconies is unparalleled. Parking is a bit snug but if you don't show up in an SUV you will be just fine. Truly a wonderful place to enjoy the Big Island.

Beautiful location. Parking spot is a bit tight it not a big deal. Upstairs ceiling fan wasn’t working but the room did have a standing fan and good ac so it stayed nice and cool. Sitting on the lanai and watching the waves was the best! Overall we were very pleased with our stay. 🌺🤙

Painless and beautiful but parking was difficult.

This a a great property with all the amenities you need to stay in Kona! The closet was stocked with supplies for beach trips including noodles, boogie boards! The washer and dryer are extremely useful and the air conditioning was perfect when you didn’t want to feel the breeze outside. Love this location for a family of 4!

This place is beyond words. The lanai facing the ocean is the number one reason you should stay here. We spent all of our downtime on the lanai. Drinking Kona coffee and eating hawaiian cookies every morning was our favorite thing. The actual accommodation is really nice. There were beach towels and chairs which were super useful. Having laundry machines really helped a lot. My only minor thing that bothered me was the master bed was very firm. Mahalo!!

We are very happy with our staying here! Our communication with Mark was quick, efficient, and helpful. Laurel and Chris were very friendly and helpful. The condo is thoughtfully provided with everything you need for beach and snorkeling. It even has sunblock, insect repellent, bandages, and laundry detergent ... which I had brought with us :). We love to relax on the patio in the morning, feeling the ocean breeze, listening to ocean waves. The location is perfect and convenient to go to everywhere. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends! It was a lucky finding on homeaway :) -Sherry from CA

Very nice property with super close access to downtown area. The interior was clean, modern and very spacious. The manager was on the ball with anything we needed. I will stay here again next time I come to the big island.

Only issue was that the Beds were hard. Great local, close to everything!

My husband and I stay here every March, and it just gets better and better. The location is ideal -- about a mile from downtown Kailua-Kona and right on the water. The house is beautifully furnished and maintained. There's dedicated parking right at the bottom of the stairs. The home is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. We saw whales and dolphins nearly every day, right from the lanai, and enjoyed incredible sunsets every evening. This was our 4th year staying at Kona Luana and we can't wait to stay here again!

We spent 3 weeks in Kailua-Kona in Mark Stone’s condo on Alii Drive. The condo was right on the beach - every morning was coffee on 1 of 2 lanais with whale and dolphin shows every day. The condo was beautiful, perfectly furnished, with a well stocked kitchen with every dish, glass, bowl, utensil and small appliance you could ever need. The condo gets ‘5 Stars from us. We spent from Jan 29 to Feb 19 and toured the entire island- but the days we stayed home were wonderful in the condo!

This condo worked great for the three of us. It was a short walk into town passing by a nice beach to relax and read. A little further the other direction was the beach park for snorkeling. The condo had all the amenities that we needed but the best feature were the two balconies. We watched the sunset nightly and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The second bedroom is a little tight but for 1 it worked. The parking is very tight and both parties need to be mindful of the parking space.

The pictures don’t do this place justice! The unit was plenty big for our family of five and everything we needed for beach visits was available to use. The location was within walking distance of restaurants and shops and the “big box” stores are an easy drive. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had during the stay. I highly recommend this unit.
