Excellent property for families. Lots of space to spread out. Really enjoyed the large deck and hot tub. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of large bowls, pots and pans to make big family dinners. We would stay here again!

Stayed with my husband late April/early May. Unbelievably gorgeous view with a private path to the beach. The house was well-appointed - HUGE kitchen! Tons of fluffy blankets to take out onto the patio to stay warm while watching the sunset. Others have mentioned no grill, there's a charcoal grill like what you see in picnic areas/campgrounds, but it is also rather small so if you are cooking for a family, know that this may not be a feasible option. A couple of notes for readers:
-The property owner requires an additional $500 deposit (via Zelle, cash, etc). This is refundable AND we did receive a refund very quickly, but this was not noted in the listing, so I wanted to give a heads up.
-If your party has a member (or multiple members) with mobility issues, you should know that the entrance to the house is one flight up and the main entrance with the lock is a rather tight, steep spiral staircase. There are much more reasonable stairs in the back that you can access as well but no way to unlock the back door if you are entering the house for the first time, etc. Neither my husband nor I have mobility issues so this was not an issue for the two of us, but when we first entered, my husband unlocked the door at the spiral staircase, then unlocked the glass doors in the back and then we used the back door to get our things into the house.
The above said, we would not hesitate to return. It was unbelievably quiet and peaceful when we were there.

I have stayed at this house at least 3 or 4 times over the past several years. It is a very large, well maintained, very comfortable house. Kitchen is well stocked, and the location cannot be beat. Brand new hot tub and the new expanded deck make this a place that I will keep coming back to over and over. The owner is also lightning fast on email inquiries/replies, which is really helpful. Overall a GREAT place to get away from it all.

Gorgeous House, Gorgeous Beach, Gorgeous Weather
My son, daughter in law and I stayed for 3 days and nights and we were so happy! The house was comfortable, clean and went beyond our expectations. The owner was flexible about our needs. In these Pandemic times, it is so wonderful to reunite with family and have peace of mind.

Some things needed fixed
The freezer leaked onto the kitchen floor the entire stay a new one was delivered the day we were leaving there some decorative items broken and the break was hidden , my guess by clean staff, dining room chair was broken and again hidden, my sister found out when she pulled it out to sit in it. We were charged a lot to stay and we’re not told ahead of time that the freezer did not work and leaked all over the floor . The location was great!!!!! We are a patient bunch and so made due and had a great time 😎

Light filled and an easy fit for 8 with room to spare
The home was clean comfortable and the layout designed to make the most of your own private beach view. Three of us took turns cooking and we all agree that the cookware and utensils were of good quality and functional for meals serving 8 or up. It will be hard NOT to choose a booking here next year.

Amazing place, perfect location
What a lovely beach house. We had age ranges from 5 to 87 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Location was perfect for a getaway. Hotter was such a nice addition. Check in was easy and someone even came over to help us when we couldn't figure out the cable on one of the tv's. Definitely coming back!!

Beach break
Wonderful location with constant views of the wild ocean through the enormous windows. A 50 yard walk through the dunes and you are on the beach! House was clean, spacious, and well stocked. Will definitely stay here again.

Right on the Beach
This was my second stay at this property, both experiences were great. Easy check-in at the hotel, house was just as described, but most importantly the beach was fantastic! The house has a beautiful view and is so close to the beach, you can't beat that.

Great house
Perfect location on beach. Quiet. Easy to swim and play at the beach and then run home to shower. The hot tub was incredible. There was plenty of space for kids and adults!

Excellent!!!!!
We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Check in/check out was very smooth. The property manager Jim is wonderful. The house was clean and organized. The kitchen had mostly everything you could think of (couldn’t find a strainer and only a couple dish towels but that’s about it) I loved the open floor plan and plenty of room for everyone! They have a hose where you can easily spray off everything after the super quick walk to The beach
Here are my suggestions -
1. Bring your own bbq if you want a propane one. They have a state campground grate style bbq but we didn’t bring briquettes and we would’ve been bbq in the rain. So we had my parents bring their portable tabletop propane one and it was perfect.
2- there are no hooks on the fence or anywhere for towels down by the hot tub so when it was raining we had nowhere to put our towels without them getting all wet (which again isn’t the end of the world but even two nails to hang them on would be great)
3- there are no kid plastic dishes, cups, silverware etc so I would recommend bringing some if you have little ones. I left two kids cups but didn’t have anything else)
Other than that- there were plenty of blankets sheets towels etc.
We will definitely be back!

Amazing View
We had rented this property before, 9 years ago, for my dads 85th B.D. and had a wonderful time. We've talked about renting again and it just never happened; until this year when we celebrated my moms 91st birthday. The weather was amazing and the view can't be beat. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Truly a luxury home
House roomy, very well maintained and completely stocked. Both kids and adults were happy. The views are amazing--180 degrees of beach, and I really appreciated that cars weren't allowed to drive on this stretch. Pretty spectacular 4th of July!

Excellent house for beach vacation
House was exceptionally clean and check in process and communication was easy. Know that you will have to pay a $500 deposit by check upon check in. The house setup was wonderful and much larger than in the pictures. The beach there is very special. The house is right on the beach with excellent views. The location is great for day trips to the Rainforest, Lake Quinault and Ruby Beach. There weren't any beach toys, beach chairs etc. and the house has no food supplies, spices etc. so remember to pack everything in. All in all it was a terrific house and we will definitely book again.

a few downsides but really nice place
the good: house is very nice and huge! lots of natural light and seating. so close to the beach, and the hot tub was great. there's a nearby antique shop and gas station style store, its also fun to just walk around town. locals were nice too. the negatives: they tried to have us pay a security deposit when we arrived. by check only. they waived it when we said we had no checks, but I thought this was sketchy. since I am renting through vrbo, a security deposit is redundant - vrbo already will charge me if there is damage/extra cleaning required. also, the hdmi port on the TV didn't work, and the dish washer didn't work. they said they were waiting for parts to fix the dish washer. finally, they should really get a bigger trashcan inside the house, it was like a bathroom garbage can in the kitchen of a house for 10 people. kind of silly.

Beautiful
The house and beach are beautiful. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Towels and linens were awesome. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a family feast.

Perfect Family Getaway
This house and the location of the house were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something secluded and away from touristy areas and this house delivered! The beachfront access was so nice. Views were lovely. House was fully stocked. Hot tub was glorious. We will definitely come back to this place in the future. The owner was quick to reply to a few questions we had while there (even though he was overseas).

Great home with plenty of amenities and a location you can't beat!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location right on the beach and the house was set up well. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the house itself was very clean and enjoyable.

My family spent the winter holidays here and enjoyed our stay greatly. We've stayed before and continue to be delighted.

Wonderful Place for a relaxing long weekend
We stayed there for 3 days during Memorial Day Long Weekend. This place is amazing to spend a relaxing weekend with family and friends. Beach is just a few steps away. In the morning water comes very close to the house and you can feel the waves and sound. House has 2 levels so it worked perfectly for us to leave kids upstairs alone while they are sleeping and use the leaving area for all the activities. It's spacious and has big TV to keep kids engaged. The first day was cloudy so we didn't go out but next 2 days were awesome. They have Big kitchen which is fully equipped, more than we needed for our stay.
With kids it was not easy to wrap everything on last day so we were running little late on check-out and Property Manager, Jim Williams accepted our late check-out request. Really appreciate it.

Magical Birthday Weekend
I wanted to have a fun, yet relaxing birthday weekend on the beach. I love Kalaloch beach but hate the awful cabins that are the only place to stay other than camping and as you probably have guessed by now, I hate camping. So I googled "beach houses on the Olympic Peninsula" and found a few great looking houses near Moclips. I emailed everyone and the owner of the Moonstone was the first to respond. I liked the pictures of the house online, it was on the beach, had a hot tub and a very similar name to my sail boat so I though why not? As the date of my birthday weekend came closer I began to worry...what if the house was dirty, or small or what if the owner got the dates wrong and we had to share with ANOTHER BIRTHDAY!? my anxiety proved wasteful as we arrived and got our keys from a gentleman at the Moonstone Motel located next door, he was delightful, put us at ease and gave us great tips about unpacking the car, etc. When we arrived at the Moonstone Beach House I was astonished at how it matched the online pictures. It was large, but also cozy, clean and for lack of a better word, perfect. We had a wonderful time hiking near and on the beach, watching the sea from our deck, sitting in the hot tub and making meals in the ample kitchen. It truly was a magical birthday weekend.

What a Fantastic Time We Had
The home is beautiful, the location excellent! The family spent Thanksgiving weekend here and had an absolute fabulous time roaming the beach, building sand castles and catching a couple of gorgeous sunsets. It is a great home and we loved every minute of our stay.

A most wonderful experience!
My family and I had an amazing time during our stay at Moonstone Beach House. Everything we could possibly need was provided....the beds were so very comfortable...our stay was a definate luxury through and through.

Excellent place to stay!
I'm very picky about where I stay and I have a very select few houses at the beach that I like to stay at. This is definitely one of them. The staff at the little Motel where you check in are very nice and justdown the road in case you need anything. The location is close enough to Ocean Shores so that you can run into town for the kids to play at the arcade or ride the go carts etc. maybe a 25 minute drive. It's also only about 5 minutes from Seabrook which has a nice little store and a cute place to eat. The beach is private, quiet and beautiful! The house is good sized with decent sized bedrooms. The beds are very comfortable as are the pillows...I actually didn't bring my own this time! The linens are nice and the towells are good. The kitchen is big and well stocked with a large pantry to store any groceries. Appliances are newer and the house is very clean. I like to leave a house as clean or cleaner than when I arrived (minus the linens) and that's tough to do with this house! I think my favorite thing is the proximity to the water. I can sit in bed in the master and read and still have a fantastic view! I love that! I will definitely stay again!

Perfect Getaway
Our stay at the Moonstone Beach House was a fantastic getaway place for my husband and I. We enjoyed the comfy couches where we spent hours gazing at the ocean views. We could even see some stars from the cathedral high windows one night. The kitchen was well stocked with most any utensil or dish needed. Having a phone in the house was really an advantage as cell phone service for my carrier is non existent in the area. The satelite system on the living room's huge tv included wonderful music channels to listen to. We really did have a lovely relaxing time and could recommend the house for couples or large groups. We won't soon forget our stay at the Moonstone Beach House.

Last sunny days of summer
Great house in perfect location. This was our second visit to Moonstone Beach House. The house and spa are clean and inviting. The view from the deck and living areas are great, but the view from the master bedroom upstairs is breath taking! The manager is just down the street and he is very friendly and helpful. The wifi was great...we brought Apple TV and watched streaming video without any problems. Cellular service is poor at best, but with in house phones it's not much of a problem. Moclips is a tranquil place with few distractions and a beautiful sandy beach for long walks, flying kites or just listening to the waves rolling in, making it a great getaway for adults and kids. There are even a couple of Geocaches in town. We brought lots of food and made use of the well supplied kitchen. It's getting time to replace some of the chipped plates and bowls and there aren't enough glasses when you have 8 people. Otherwise the house is well stocked with everything you may need, just bring you own food. It's about 25 minutes from Ocean Shores, a resort community with several restaurants, shopping and lots of activities for kids. You will not regret choosing this house for your ocean retreat.

This was a perfect home for two families. Great bunk room for kids and parents got their own rooms! Great open floor plan for entertaining, with a great deck and hot tub! View and access to beach was awesome! Would use it again! Thanks.
