So great! The location is awesome. Great if you have a rental car since it has a parking spot, and a bus stop to access public transit less than a five minute walk away. We loved our stay. The kitchen was also amazing and had every tool you could think of needing. Thank you!!!

We were in town due to a family member's injury in a serious car accident. We needed a place to stay near Harborview Medical Center. This was a huge help to have a nice place that was affordable. It was a pretty walk to the hospital, and the immediate area around the house was nice. There was a little market a block away and a Trader Joe's about 5-6 blocks away. Cindy and Jose were extremely nice and were compassionate and flexible when our plans changed based on our family member's condition.

CIndy and Jose provided exactly what they advertised and made the whole process easy and went above and beyond when we left something behind. The location was nice and easy to hop on a bus from to explore. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great!

It is close to markets, yummy breakfast spots and restaurants. Parking in Seattle can be tough so we were very happy to have off street parking. The hosts were very responsive to our questions/needs. We never used the full kitchen but was nice to have the option of we decided to stay in for dinner. Might want to pick up a tin of instant coffee if you don’t want to make a whole pot. Added bonus, a basement apartment means it stays relatively cool during the summer. Side note: If you have a bum knee and aren’t renting a car the hike up the driveway could be a chore.

Overall the stay was great! Aside from a few little things (fan was squeaky while running, shower door was finnicky and leaked some water), everything about this property was excellent. I understand this is an older property and not everything will be perfect. This location is within walking distance of many establishments in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, and a short UBER/Lyft away from several other destinations (Queen Anne, Magnolia, Seattle Center, downtown, piers, SODO). The hosts were very responsive with online messaging to answer questions. At times I received a reply within seconds. I should also add this property is very affordable compared to other options in the city. I would definitely recommend this property to other patrons.

Wonderful little spot, very clean and had everything we needed. Cindy and Jose were very accommodating and even let us keep our bags at the house after checking out, since we had a late night flight. We had a wonderful stay!

Cindy and Jose have a wonderful little basement that is exactly as pictured on the website. They were quick to respond to our messages, and incredibly accommodating. They had thoughtful little touches, like a handwritten note and snacks, as well as the practical aspects completely covered (including a clearly marked parking spot, a book on house rules, etc).

Great location, stays cool during hot summer weather, little noisy being in the basement

The studio was an ideal place for getting to explore Seattle. Plenty of space, good location for walking to popular areas and transit stops.

Check in/out was easy. It looks just like the pictures. The location is very nice. There are lots of little details that help make the stay more comfortable, including access to a washer/dryer. You can hear when people upstairs walk, so I wouldn't recommend it for a light sleeper, and the shower and toilet are elevated, which is a little strange but fine. Overall, a great stay.

Overall, the property was satisfactory. However, they were some deficiencies . The major one was the location of the toilet elevated, approximately a foot above the bathroom floor. This was inconvenient for me especially during the night when I was not as alert. It’s unusual arrangement. should’ve been pictured accurately in the listing. Other issues included a very old toaster that should’ve been updated; and the lack of sharp knives.

This rental was perfect for us. Clean, well stocked and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Owners were communicative and attentive.

Easy walking to capital hill and surrounding area. Nice kitchen in the studio lower level flat. Of note, bathroom may be challenging for large and tall people, worked fine for me.

Second time staying in Cindy and Jose’s studio. Perfect for two people! Everything you need at your disposal and great location. Excellent communication. We truly appreciate their kindness and consideration during the “Great Ice Storm of 2022”.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient and walkable, and I felt safe on my own for the first night. The off street parking was appreciated, as street parking tended to fill up quickly. Just a note that there are a few stairs down to enter the place, and the bathroom includes a big step up. The guest info book and guest book were charming, and we’d definitely stay here again. Thank you to our hosts!

We enjoyed our stay in the studio at this house property for our Seattle vacation. Both my wife and I were celebrating our birthdays for a long weekend and the hosts were very welcoming. The Birthday chocolate was very much appreciated! The studio itself is very clean and just what we needed. The location is only a couple of kilometres away from downtown, and having our bikes with us allowed us to explore around Seattle easily without having to take the car. The studio has everything you need and Cindy and José have put together a book of local things nearby—very helpful and answer any questions right away. The studio is conveniently located close to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! Thank you Cindy and José!

This location is in an ideal location. Walking distance to Trader Joe’s, local eateries and Capital Hill. My daughter and I stayed here to be close to the Seattle Pride festivities and were very happy. From the great communication with Cindy & Jose to the very touching welcome basket, we couldn’t have asked for a better staycation.

This cute little studio was perfect for my stay in Seattle and a delightful cozy spot to come back to after a busy day in the city. Check in and out was easy, and it was clean and instantly comfortable on arrival. It also felt safe and secure during my stay which I appreciated as a single occupant.

This was perfect for my partner and I, we were only in town for two days and had some late nights, this was cozy to come home to!

We had such a great stay here! The listing was 100% accurate and the hosts were amazing and always responded immediately when contacted. They provided excellent information for public transportation before we arrived and we made it to the house with no issues. Since we didn't rent a car, the bus stop on the corner was fantastic and took us straight downtown to see all the sites. It was so convenient! There were also many places within walking distance for some groceries, coffee and great food! Cindy and Jose are wonderful hosts and really made our first trip to Seattle, and using a VRBO, a very smooth experience. They also left us a small gift to celebrate our 25th anniversary, which was such a nice surprise and so thoughtful. We definitely recommend staying here - five stars all the way!!

This studio was very spacious, and was very clean upon arrival. It was conveniently close to downtown but was still far enough away to have the neighborhood vibe.
