the garden
the shower if you are slim is ok the heating in room did not come on till i complained about it then it only came on for one day 4 to 8 pm

I had a single room and view was of the car park of hotel next door. It was a little noisy at times with the next door hotel staff using car park for fag breaks .You could just about see the sea from an angle.

This is a hotel with amazing views, beautiful gardens and a family friendly feel. Breakfast was really good .. freshly cooked and served to order.
Has a real homely feel, my room was cosy and comfy … with plenty of tea and coffee (and biscuits) :)
I would Definetly go back, everyone was so friendly and helpful.
I stayed alone and felt very safe and secure. Shanklin and the Isle of Wight is a beautiful place to visit.

Beautiful position overlooking the Channel, gorgeous garden, great position for getting to different areas. Breakfast set you up for the day. All staff very friendly. Hotel clean and tidy.
Nothing to dislike, all staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Wonderful family run hotel with great owners and staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Lovely breakfast to kick off the day and super view of the sea from a lovely terrace & garden. We met some great people who we laughed & chilled out with. It was a relaxing break that my friend & I had been needing. It ticked all the boxes. Will be booking again for 2023.

Small TV on a wall bracket which didn't stay straight.Too high up to watch unless lying down so my neck was at an angle all the time

fabulous terrace overlooking the sea and a very comfortable lounge area.
owners were very pleasant and helpful.
the location was perfect with access to the cliff path from the garden. a short walk to the shops and train station.
nothing to dislike. it did have an end of season feel as the tea garden was closed and very few guests staying. that said it was a short midweek break so perhaps it’s different at the weekend.

Just returned from a stay here as a family of 5, can't fault it. Lovely rooms, lovely staff, lovely food, amazing views and stunning garden. Looking forward to returning

the location was good .Staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was nice and fresh No cereal on display or juices had to ask for them.
Room was very small and overlooked by other Buildings. No food in Hotel after 3pm .No good bye or thanks for staying with us .

Very clean and warm reception on arrival. The garden is just beautiful. Very good outdoor and lounge facilities. The hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and made me feel very welcome.
I found the breakfast times 8.30 - 9.00am rather restrictive. My single room was adequate, but would have like a chair to sit in rather than a stool. Also the TV was very small. It would also have been a bonus if one could order hot drinks at the bar, and I know I could go to my room and make one, but I was hardly going to go up to my room, make a hot drink and bring it back down to the lounge.

Awesome location, amazing view from the tea garden. A great friendly and warm host. Always greeted with a great smile. A friendly family run business. Always support small local businesses!
