There were several issues with the place (maintenance did come when we called, but it is disruptive to the vacation. The hot tub did not warm up. The company informed me that I would be able to sign the contract when I arrived, however they sent me the contract the day before I was checking in and already in Costa Rica so I could not print it. I explained this to them and they said it would be fine to sign in person, but that meant that I had to arrive earlier and therefore would miss out on one of our scheduled activities. I spent so much time on the phone with this company. Want a worry free vacation? This is not it. One would think that luxury also includes accommodating guests. For the price, there weren't a ton of amenities. Following my stay, I contacted the owner to share my concerns. He was nice, but had a lot of reasons for why the things were the way they were. He offered my 10% off my next stay, but that is not helpful to someone that doesn't travel to Costa Rica regularly. Additionally, we stayed at an amazing place in a different location that did not have all of the luxuries, but the service was impeccable. I would not book through this company again.

Plenty of room and the parents got their own upstairs getaway. It's close to everything, restaurants, shops, beach and booking activities. We didn't need a car and were provided transportation for activities. Great managing company. They were available and helpful and so nice!

The view is spectacular and close to everything in town! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to. Only needed a driver to play golf and airport transfers

The management company was very helpful through the whole process. Our driver, Ronnie, was exceptional and always on time.

We would definitely stay in Matapslo 603 again! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who staying next door.

The experience with the Hotel Diria is not a good one. You will receive a red wrist band with the condo rental which gives u access to the condo pool. If you go to the beach( of course u will) the hotel will force you to buy another wrist band ( white one) which is $40 per day per person. $20 is for the privilege to use a very small grassy area with lounge chairs near the beach and the other $20 they force u to spend at the hotel for drinks or food. That was $200 per day for us!! The hotel staff is rude, and does not have mastery of the English language. U will be turned away from breakfast if they are busy with hotel guests so u are a second class citizen as s condo renter. They have security people who will chase u off the property if u dont buy the white wrist band. The security guy actually had the nerve to accuse my 11 year old daughter of turning over her red wrist band to the white side to avoid paying extra!! They had given us purple bands that day and the security guy didn't even know the situation because they don't even communicate with each other!! Do ur self a favor and stay elsewhere if u plan to go to the beach. U could stay at JW Marriot or the Four Seasons and ot have to worry about the gestapo bothering ur children and the inconvenience of being treated like a second class citizen. FYI: they had a large wedding party that took over the hotel area andcondo area so we couldn't even use what we were promised.

Property management staff was friendly and accommodating as were the on-site staff. The only thing you need to bring, if you want, is food and beverages, everything else is provided.

I only have two comments/suggestions: A WiFi extender would help with the poor WiFi reception on the second level and the ladies on this trip all agreed that the lighting was poor for putting make-up on. These are minor, but felt they were worth mentioning. Pura Vida!

Three weeks with different family members joining us was VERY difficult, requiring new wrist bands and swipe cards with each group. Rental company powerless to provide these, and Hotel Diria impossible to work with. This was a return trip for us and we had many more restrictions that even last year. Can't use adult pool, can't sit on property along the beach, I feel bad for condo owners of these lovely properties who are caught in the demands of the hotel's new rules. We met many disgruntled guests.

The condo was as described, clean and well maintained. Quiet with gorgeous view and easy walk to the beach, pool, restaurants and shopping. RPM arranged transportation to & from Liberia AP which is both cost competitive and convenient. Driver was on-time, prepared with condo keys & facility (gated) swipe cards. Only disappointment was no gas grill since we would have enjoyed grilling a couple of times during our week stay. Tamarindo is a very safe area and the Ticos are friendly and accommodating. We used 'Get Lost in Costa Rica' for two tours (ATV & Rincon de la Veija) and you will not be disappointed with Don Grant so be sure to check out his web site / Facebook page. One of our group also did the estuary tour and opted for the early AM canoe version since wildlife is active at sunrise and powered boats tend to scare away some of the wildlife life. Go early morning to hike Playa Grande beach - take the water taxi across the entrance to the estuary ($3) at the end of the beach - a great hike along a almost deserted beach but bring water, sunscreen & a towel. Walk the beach for one mile or so and visit the Taco bar for a snack, cool refreshments and shade. We had pizza at Nari's on arrival evening and brought in 'Chicken to Go' one evening - both were very good. Pay $5 (one way) for a Taxi to the Super Mercado to stock up for your stay. Make reservations at Gallo Fina for dinner - excellent. Be sure to eat at Longboards BBQ - Jeff, the proprietor makes all guests feel welcome in this relaxed atmosphere and the food is very good. Beer & liquor is 2X cost in the US so visit the duty free shop upon arrival at the airport and stock up. Pura Vida!

The views are wonderful both in the morning and at sunset. We enjoyed using the lagoon pool as well as the beach in front of the Diria Resort. Everything was clean and pristine. We did pay to have housekeeping come to the unit two times however they only came once. Also, on our last night there was no water at 10:00 PM. We had an early flight the next day and still no water in the morning. That may just be a Costa Rican thing - no true reflection on the property. We look forward to returning!
