Great location and house was perfect!! One suggestion is that the back yard could have been mowed!! Over grown grass!! The house was not as clean as expected!

Great location, great atmosphere. Note: there are zero spices, salt and pepper or anything used for cooking in the kitchen.

Unfortunately my stay wasn't what I anticipated when I arrived a little after 4pm I noticed that the cleaning lady was still inside the house. I called the customer service line to speak to someone that promised me a partial refund for the inconvenience but I never got one. The cleaning lady didn't finish cleaning the house until a few minutes close to 6pm the house was still a bit dirty, the dishwasher was broken or at least the door was, the next day I was waken by a loud noise I didn't realize the house was right next to a construction site, I had the windows open to get some fresh air but got a bunch of diesel exhaust in the house and took hours too clear up. Other that that the stay was good

There was comfortable living upstairs and down. Seating for all of us. Ice maker in the freezer and plenty of dishes and silverware for all of us. Coffee maker and electric kettle for the tea drinkers. Beds were comfortable but the sheets were thin.

Perfect location! Good amount of space. Perfect amount of bathrooms! Clean and well stocked kitchen. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher were handy. The dish washer is super loud!

This house could be perfect with a little TLC. It’s located right across the street from the beach, which made it great for or family to be able to come and go on our own schedule. That being said, it lacked the finishing touches and sense of being well cared for. The view and the layout were great. For the location it’s a bargain, but I can see why. The kitchen is small and the dishwasher is a hazard. The door flops open and when you pull out the racks they nearly fall out. It does wash the dishes but it’s not easy to use. The house needs a deep cleaning. There was standing water under the sink, m&m’s under the bed, a musky smell in the bathroom and garbage in the bushes in the backyard. It feels like a rental that the owners never use. The garbage can was full when we arrived but a call to the property manager had that taken care of. I can see how it would have been easy to miss the garbage collection. The instructions said garbage day is Friday, but they pick it up early in the morning, so it really should be put out Thursday night. I shot out of bed Friday morning when I heard the truck and managed to get it out in time. All in all, we had a great stay and would consider renting it again, just based on the convenience of. Ring so close to the beach.

The house has stains on the carpet upstairs, the vinyl on the chairs is pealing off in chunks, and the upstairs smelled like pet urine when we arrived. After we opened a couple windows the smell was gone. The location is amazing right across the street from beach access, super easy walk. Over all our trip was good but the house needs some maintenance

The house was nice, good location and our family enjoyed the stay. We agreed with others that the shrubs should be trimmed as they really do block the ocean view on the first floor. We hung out mainly on the 2nd floor for this reason.

The home was beautiful! The views from the upstairs deck were gorgeous! Super easy and SHORT walk to beach. The living room Downstairs was lacking. There’s no where to lounge around as a family unless you want to sit on the hard Dining chairs. Only 3 cushioned chairs for sitting in to relax. There were TONS of fresh pet urine puddles that were dry ALL OVER the upstairs carpet and downstairs rugs. Whoever let their dogs pee all over didn’t even try to soak it up. Let alone clean it. The Beds were really comfortable. Fridge took a long time to get cold. But it was a beautiful house for sure.

We have been staying at this house for years and this is the first time we stated through a beach rental company. Surprisingly, we paid a lot more and got less for it. The lawn was really unkept when we arrived (lots of weeds and tall grass) and there was a very limited supply of toilet paper and paper towels (we had to run the the store after two days to restock the house). Additionally, the house wasn't cleaned that well before we arrived. There was lots of sand all over the floor and the upstairs front bedroom had pet hair all over the carpet... The house itself is great, it accommodated our group with multiple adults and children comfortably. Its great how close it is to the beach... it would be great if it had a bbq but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This house is set in an amazing location and could easily be elevated to FANTASTIC. FABULOUS would be the worst word I could think of it weren’t for the nasty BALLs of dog hair literally floating across the really nice, easy to maintain hardwood type floors (which would have been so easy to deal with prior to our arrival) - not to mention the clumps of dog hair clinging to each dining table and chair legs — But, pets ARE welcome! The sand between the sheets on the two twin beds proved that changing the linens isn’t actually a TOP priority — but, this little beauty IS sitting at directly at the entrance to the worlds largest sand box AND one of the best views on the planet. AND....who’s sleeping in the twin beds, any way??? I actually considered taking 2 hours and renting a lawn mower. The 20 minutes to knock down a few weeds could make the curb appeal worth a million bucks and the area in the back much more enjoyable. If the hedge, for example, in front was “trimmed” — the view from the “Ocean Front Property” could actually include THE OCEAN from the living room and dining area!!! WHAT???? This would take about 30 minutes of landscaping, though. We think having a barbecue handy might also be a nice addition and help overshadow the fact that there is only 1 shower on property for ALL GUESTS to use after returning from sandy beach DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET!!! (Did I mention the great location of this house!??!) HOWEVER, these things would only enhance the visitors stay. Our time spent here was amazing. Not to mention that The Red Roof (just around the block) served great coffee and the Adventure Cookies were TO DIE FOR!!!

We got to see the sea animals (seals) come to shore and walk, we seen whales surging in and out of the ocean! It was an overall spectacular time, that made my daughter and I forget about the minor hiccups and fall in love with our Gleneden beach vacation. The price was definitely a plus that out trumpeted the small hiccups!

No communication about how to enter premises so we had to call when we arrived about 2:30 PM. Very clean except for some reason the downstairs large living room windows were too messed up to see through. Only one key was provided so we had to leave it in the lockbox if we were both gone returning at different times. No wifi for the majority of the time we were there.

We were disappointed that the yard was only partially fenced so the dog needed to be supervised and the shrubs in the front of the house were overgrown and blocking the ocean view. Most frustrating though, was we were unable to use the upstairs tv to watch movies because the remote was missing. Another problem upstairs was a light that could not be turned off and so we needed to remove the shade and bulb to turn it off.

Property was in a great location with easy beach access and great view from balcony. However, upon arriving after dark the front and rear house lights were not working. Cleanliness of one bathroom seems to have been overlooked as there were feces in the toilet and clearly on the wall.
