Amazing location, with almost 360 degree view of island, even inside the house since screen windows are plentiful. In the few places to rent near us, no one was there, and even if they are, still feels very remote. It’s not right on the beach obviously, but getting to flamenco beach or Tamarindo beach was a very short, unique process that I looked forward to every day. Even gave us easy opportunity to check out further beaches since we weren’t simply already waking up on a beach. Perfect for couples amd honeymooners, or if you and your significant other have a child at least 6 or 7 years old. Grocery store will always be on the way of the places you will want to go to. Good wifi amd cell service. Accommodations were beyond what were expected. Coming back every year.

I cannot and will never be able to express how amazing this place is. My wife and I had our honeymoon on Culebra and stayed here. We will return and do this again. (If we can...) I will forever remember our time and what Ann did Was amazing, this place will always live in our hearts. Thank you!

Beautiful views, peaceful pace, and fun adventures. My husband and I had a wonderful time on Culebra. We snorkeled at several beaches and saw lots of sea creatures. We made breakfast and dinner at the house in the well equipped kitchen and packed picnic lunches in the cooler provided by Ann. We loved the solitude of being “top of the world”.

Ann's place has to be one of Culebras most precious gems, with a view of St. Croix, Vieques and PR you'll seldom want to leave the home. The house was just what we wanted and needed, very grateful that Ann shares her home.

Sadly, the people who owned it decided to stop renting so we had to find another house. I didn’t think we’d be able to find a place we liked as much, but we hit a home run with this one! Ann is a terrific host, answering all my questions, meeting us in town to show us the way, and ensuring we knew how things worked. The house is just as advertised on VRBO. We had everything we needed to cook meals, relax, sleep well, and enjoy our stay. The views are fantastic and we had lots of privacy. This is the place we will return to - thanks so much!

You'll need all wheel drive to get there. Ann, the owner and resident of Culebra, will meet you, lead you to the house and explain all the comforts afforded there. She'll be available any time you need her. The breath taking views afforded by windows, which are screens only ( with closable shutters if necessary), are a constant joy. The water supply is simply rainwater collected in a cistern. It is fine to drink though Ann supplied bottled water in case we preferred it. We stayed aware of water use and had no issues. Trade Winds supply a constant cross breeze and there are ceiling fans and a floor fan as well. Soldiers' Point beach is a 10 minute drive, captaIn Bill's boat and dock is practically across the street ( you can see if he's there as you drive down the hill - a most dramatic little trip), and town is about 10 minutes in the other direction. The posted photo is accurate. What a lovely experience to stay in this special place!

My husband and I could not say enough good things about this property or the owner, Ann, and the caretaker, Jessie. We were able to meet up with Ann on our last night in for some great conversation and a drink, which was a treat. The house sports incredible views of the southern sky over the ocean with Viequez and Isla Grande in the distance. The porch and windows wrap around the entire home so it really makes you feel like you’re outside even if you’re sitting at the dining room table. The bar outside provides a breezy cool spot all the time. We stayed in July and even though there is no AC, the house is comfortable with the constant trade wind breeze and large ceiling fans. This is a true island home owned by someone who has great love for the island and the sea. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to unplug. Oh, and sunset on the rocking chairs on the porch is also incredible.

House had the basic amenities my wife and I needed for our laid back, relaxing stay on Culebra. Ann was very responsive and helpful leading up to our visit. She provided plenty of tips and information to make planning our trip a success. Jessie met us at the jeep rental place and showed us how to get to the house which was very much appreciated. Also, as Ann pointed out during the booking process, a jeep is absolutely required as the driveway is very steep (but it's a fun drive!). The house itself had AMAZING 360° views of the island and ocean. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets while at the house. It could get a bit muggy at times as there is no A/C but we knew that going in. The many windows and two ceiling fans certainly helped as well! One of the downsides of the windows was the shutters have to be closed from the outside so once or twice I got caught in the rain trying to close them so water wouldn't get in. Additionally, the window screens and doors leave open the possibility of some bugs or small lizards getting inside which to us wasn't that big of a deal but it might be to others. My wife happily caught and reaccomodated the lizards outside. You also needed to supply your own drinking water as it wasn't recommended to drink from the faucet. However there is a nearby small grocery store you can stock up on bottled water and other supplies. The location of the house was very convenient; it didn't take longer than 15-20 mins by jeep to get to most of the points of interest. Overall, if you require something more luxurious (meaning you need A/C, don't like the possibility of some bugs/small lizards, prefer easy vehicle access to the property, want easy access to drinking water, etc.) you might want to consider a different option as this could be considered a bit more rustic. However, for a laid-back, island/beachy vacation, the house was great!

Beautiful spot! Cima Del Mundo is a great spot, if your into nature and beauty. You really do feel like you are on top of the world. The house has a rustic feel, with beautiful wooden beams adoring the inside space. Beautiful hardwood floors. We enjoyed the terrace every night for sunsets. It was also the backdrop for my proposal! SHE SAID YES!! Kitchen space is great. The breezes running thru the house were amazing. No need for AC! The property manager was a sweet heart. Picked us up from Jerry's and drove us into town. Showed us where the grocery and restaurants are located. Beach access is literally minutes away. We highly recommend Cima Del Mundo. Ann is a GREAT host! Cant wait for our next visit.

We were lucky enough to enjoy perfect weather and this spot was just what was in order. It was very comfortable for my husband, our teenage son and me. Lots of space and the views are amazing. The open windows allowed us to experience the expansive vistas and trade winds, which kept the temperature very reasonable and bugs away—not even a mosquito bothered us. After mornings snorkeling and swimming, we came back for naps and then found it hard to go back out as it was hard to justify leaving such a great place!

My partner and I have been coming to Culebra almost every year since 2009 but this was our first time in Ann's house, and we loved every minute of our week-long stay there. Ann was very quick to respond to questions over email before we booked the house and this continued while on the island. She was always available and eager to help. We knew where the house was, so Ann met us there, showed us around the property and told us about new restaurants since our last visit. Everything was in tip-top shape and she had even left two gallons of drinking water in the frig. (The tap water on the island is safe but can have a funky taste.) The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans, paper towels, kitchen utensils etc.... We regularly used the dishwasher, coffee machine, and microwave and everything worked great. There were plenty of towels and soap, and we had use of beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler bag to bring sandwiches and other snacks to the beach. Be aware that this is one big, undivided space--but there is a door to the bathroom. It is ideal for an individual or a couple but not a group. I would recommend a jeep or 4-wheel drive vehicle to make it up the very very steep roads and driveway. I don't think that a golf car would make it. Our routine was pretty chill: we got up every morning around 6:00 a.m. , cup of coffee in hand, to watch the sunrise from the deck and were home by 5:30 p.m. every evening to watch the sunset (around 6:30 p.m.) on the deck again with salsa, chips, and a glass of wine. In between, we explored the island's many beautiful and deserted beaches, snorkeled, read on the wrap-round deck, and enjoyed the various eateries on the island. All in all, a very enjoyable stay with a gracious, friendly and attentive host. We will be renting this house again for sure next year! Thanks, Ann! :)

This is where we've stayed on our last 5 or so visits to Culebra. It has everything you need, and beautiful open space inside, Watching the sun rise from that deck is a beautiful thing. But especially, having an end of day drink while watching the sun set out there between Vieques and the Big Island! It's really special. We love this place.

This was our 4th time to Culebra, and by far our best accommodations. Ann, the owner, is so accommodating and nice. The place is spacious and clean and has everything you need -- even beach chairs and an insulated bag for lunch on the beach! The breezes come through and caress you as you sleep. The views are the best eye candy ever. You can watch the sun rise AND set, and enjoy expansive views of the ocean, the plants on Culebra -- with lots of butterflies! -- Vieques, Puerto Rico, and Luis Pena. By day two we were texting Ann that we would be return customers! Full kitchen -- we roasted a chicken, just like home -- and the shower is such a treat -- you are inside, but the giant (secluded) screened window that makes up one side of the shower makes you feel like you are practically outside! Love the spacious, open concept. We didn't want to leave!

The host is kind, thoughtful, and friendly; one of the best I’ve met in my travels.
