The space was really spacious and perfect for a big group or family travelling together. Kitchen was well equipped with a huge dining table. There were books, games, puzzles, and a huge billiard table for everyone to stay entertained separately or together. Location was conveniently on the Great Ocean Road which was a plus.

The house seemed to be in a need of a deep clean. We found a huge spider (tarantula-like) in the master shower upon arrival, and had to figure out how to get rid of it ourselves. Subsequently we also spotted SEVERAL smaller spiders crawling around the floors, which led us to believe there was probably a nest somewhere within the building. Heating was provided but also not sufficient to warm up the whole home, especially in the master bedroom which was incredibly spacious.

Stunning property in a gorgeous setting with great amenities

Loved the property itself, lovely large grassed area for the dogs to run and play. Billiard table was great. Fireplace and wood supplied was also appreciated. We found the house warm and cosy despite how large the areas are. An exterior firepit would be a welcome addition ! .Had everything we needed in the kitchen. No wifi or limited service didn't worry us - we knew in advance and we went there to spend time together as a family - not work - so was not a problem.

The house could have been cleaner, it needs a good deep clean. Broken blinds in the bedroom that need fixing.

Would love cooling or even a fan in the bedrooms as the first couple of days during our stay we're quite warm.

The house was architecturally beautiful and very clean. Being able to wake up and lounge by the deck, taking in the fresh air and greenery was definitely a highlight.

Nice, big home on a large property. Plenty to do - billiards and table tennis for those rainy days.

Lots of spiders in the house, could do with regular pest control.

Very beautiful, well equipped home near Apollo Bay. The fire place was really lovely as we needed it every day: it was cold while we visited. The setting is peaceful, even though very close to the main road. Loved the architecture - it was a real highlight for us. Kitchen is well equipped, huge laundry room and 2.5 bathrooms. The home is very spacious and comfortable. Good communications from property managers in advance of our visit. Very clean home!

There are so many “gadgets” to manage without proper instructions: we never did get a decent cup of coffee (the machine, even with an instruction manual) was too difficult to work!. We could not get the heating system and the bathroom floor heaters to work: given it was so cold that could have been a problem - we relied on the fireplace which did heat the main part of the house very well. There is no telephone service or wifi, so we could not get in touch with the property managers. BUT we still loved our stay and recommend it for short visits. There is no where to walk too - for a country property I expected easy access to trails or the beach, but it was miles from either and we would have had to walk along the highway.... so we drove everywhere. Not a problem for a short visit, but wouldn’t suit us for a longer visit.
