Helena and Rita were most helpful. My one person room was like a beach house, and super comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Usually I stay in 5* hotels, but can warmly recommend this type of accommodation as well.

Lovely villa just walking distance from the beach at a quiet location. Thoughtful breakfast served by lovely staff. I felt at home. I stayed at the individual room and it nice decorated and had all the needed amenities.

The location was great (5min walking from the beach), the staff was super nice, the room and the house are beautiful and the breakfast was also fantastic (home-made yogurt, butter, juices and cake). The house was also silent and the bed super comfy, what was perfect to rest/relax. I could not have asked better and I would gladly return.

Honestly everything was perfect.

First time to Comporta. Outside areas of Kochab Comporta were lovely! The outside seating area around pool was comfortable and serene. Easy access & very short walk to the beach were valued. Beach was outstanding! Gorgeous, peaceful & went for long walks on soft sand. It was a treat to find so many unbroken shells.

Beds were hard & uncomfortable. The bathroom in the room we had was horribly designed regarding functionality & access. It was a long, dark space. I'm 5' 4" and my knees hit the counter when using the toilet. The glass door to bathroom doubled as the 3rd wall to the shower behind the bathroom door. So one had to leave the bathroom door open in order to form a wall for the shower. The long counter ran into the shower while exposing a wooden shelf below counter. I remodel homes and travel frequently and have never seen such an awkward & bizzare layout! It would have made more sense to have a shorter counter with sink rather than running it the entire length of a long wall. Then there would have been room for a proper shower and one would not be delicately balancing trying to use the toilet. NOTE: Each room is different so other rooms had functional bathrooms. We were in the room that had a small kitchenette & outdoor sitting area. Bathroom was long, narrow & dark with walls & counter a dark charcoal color & dim lighting. Had issues with ants getting into clothes closet that was next to kitchenette.

Everything was amazing! The villa was incredible, perfect service and delicious breakfast. We had a lovely time, thanks to Helen and the ladies of the staff.

Very nice urbanization with direct access to the beach in less than 2min. Walk. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff!

This place is fabulous! Perfect location, right next to a gorgeous beach. Helena and the staff were wonderful. And the breakfast is outstanding…especially the homemade yogurt! Just an incredible place to relax and recharge.

Everything was great. My room was quite small though. And AC would have been nice in the heatwave.

The room was lacking in some basic facilities - no chair in the room, no table on the balcony, not enough room on the bedside tables as lamps took up all the space, the bathroom floor was very slippery when wet. Would have been nice to have a cafetiere at the breakfast table so we could serve ourselves with coffee.

This is the second time I've visited this guesthouse because I loved it so much. The place is perfect to get away from it all and relax. The staff are super helpful and polite, we felt really comfortable there. Highly recommended!

The wi-fi connection wasn't working well in the room.

Clean, tidy, well organised and great attention to detail. Just a sand dune away from a beatiful long sandy beach. Breakfasts were amazing and staff really attentive. As a solo traveller I felt really at home and well looked after.

Host Helena runs a very comfortable, stylish and full of flair guest house, extremely clean. Host and staff both very attentive and caring! I felt very welcome from arrival till departure. Breakfast was amazing and features lots of homemade food selections, following a healthy concept set in an atmospheric environment. Mentioning a small fridge would round up the room comfort it was bought and installed the next day. Extraordinary place and service. I left happy and will return with pleasure.
