Nice apartment, very clean with a great view from the balcony.

Amazing view from the terrace, great location within walking distance to everything. Very basic amenities, everything to provide yourself. Great communication with host.

Sofa bed in living room is noisy with every turn. Like traveling back in time.

This was a very clean, comfortable apartment directly across the square from the mother church. The kitchen was one of the best I've had in a rental apartment--and since we were visiting at a time of year when many of the restaurants in town were closed, we ended up preparing several meals. The proprietors were very kind to us as well. We speak little to no Italian, but they were patient with us and even had a friend come by to translate (and helped us locate some distant cousins!). We hope to return to Sambuca some day and would definitely stay there again.

I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee machine, but we found the coffee down the street at Caffe Beccadelli to be so delicious we just went down there each morning.

Prime location in the old centre of town. Located in the piazza at the top of the old town. A word of warning though - if you are travelling by car, DO NOT put in the address of the apartment in your GPS or you will be unnecessarily directed through all the narrow little streets to get there! Instead put in the main street of Via Belvedere and just drive straight to the apartment in the piazza at the top of the hill. The apartment is opposite Chiesa Madre and the nearest restaurant (Lu Saracinu) is fantastic and just round the corner of the church. The apartment is very clean, functional and the view from the terrace over the countryside is fantastic. The beds are very comfortable and we slept well. The hosts in the apartment above are very friendly and very helpful...I was even given a jar of homemade pasta sauce, which was wonderful! The only downside to this apartment is that there is no washing machine (though there is a washing area off the terrace), no tv and the wifi isn't great but was good enough for our needs. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay, in the best spot in town, within short walking distance of everything the town has to offer...including the market on Wednesday mornings on Via Belvedere. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Grazie mille a tutti!
