This rental is excellent for a family with young children. We had our 4 year old granddaughter with us and she absolutely love the home and all of the amenities. We all had a fantastic time. Owners kept us well informed, as to check-in and out process. Location is fantastic and priced accordingly. This was our first getaway since the big C and was enjoyed by all. Location, location, location and this rental definitely has the location. Many thanks to our host.

The property was close walking distance to the beach. The pool was amazing. The property manager was available at all times for any questions or concerns. Everything you would ever need was provided.

The price of the home in comparison to other properties in the area is high considering the home is very outdated. The air vent and registers have thick dust, there were random small items found around the beds that others had left and not picked up by cleaning staff. Other surfaces were dusty and dirty, utensils were placed back in the drawer that had large amounts of stuck on food, there was standing water on the plates in the cabinet. The carpets were stained. The home feels more like you are staying in someone's personal home versus more of a beach rental. There are lots of personal items in the bathrooms.When you walk through the door of the home there is a strong odor of mildew. The mattresses were uncomfortable. I recieved several accusational messages several days after check out advising missing and broken items from the property. I advised the host that under no circumstances did we damage to steal items from the home. The circumstances surrounding my text conversation w/ the host made me very uncomfortable. I suggested she contact the previous renters since the entire outside trash cans were filled with alcohol trash when we arrived.I contacted VRBO myself and made a claim against the host. I do encourage future renters to take pictures when you arrive and when you leave if you do decide to stay in this home. This was our first stay in Sandbridge, VA and our first vacation with our 13 month old son. The layout of the house worked out perfectly for us. The living area is on the top floor and had a ton of games and toys for kids of all ages. My in laws stayed on the main level where the kitchen is and my husband, son and I on the bottom floor. The owners of the house have truly thought of everything you could possibly need. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away. We spent our afternoons and evenings at the gorgeous pool and surrounding deck. I highly recommend this rental to any family with kids. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning to Sandbridge for future vacations. Thank you for a great stay!

This property was as advertised. Very clean and the decor is super beachy and cute! Extra attention and care given with a personalized beach bag with useful items, fully loaded kitchen, beautiful pool, cozy rooms and updated bathrooms. Beach towels provided and came in handy along with linens and bathroom towels. The tiki bar is awesome especially since our son turned 21 while we were there! The only suggestion would be to add a hot tub to the pool area to really complete the experience. Would highly recommend this VRBO and are already thinking of making plans for next year.

Location was excellent. We had my 21/2 year old granddaughter at the house it was wonderfully filled with toys totally kid friendly. Pool area was great. House needs some work, we were the first to rent it this season needs a deep cleaning.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Short walk to beach, market and shops. The grandkids loved the playroom and the gate was helpful to keep them contained. Great pool and toys, floats to go with. We brought our own baby pool and set up on the patio. Will definitely be back - our first and not last trip to Sandbridge!

Paradise is a very family friendly home. There are lots of homey touches. The kitchen is very well stocked. All of the outside areas (porches, decks, pool area) have very nice furnishings and there are plenty of outdoor chairs around the pool and tiki hut. Love the lights! The occupants before us didn't clean the floor, so it needed a good scrub when we were leaving. Very clean other than that. The house and pool area are very child friendly. Plenty of extra chairs are located in the small shed, along with a beach cart and bicycles. We recommend this house to all who would like a comfortable stay at Sandbridge!

So close to the beach we went over early and set out our chairs and came back. The Market was close enough to walk to and carry our purchases back. (The prices were cheaper than my supermarket at home!). A golf course was very close for my 2 17 y.o.’s to play. And all the grandkids were more than happy to walk with me to Ben and Jerry’s. The pool was great! Lots of things to do in Virginia Beach and vicinity. I’m ready to make my reservation for next year.

It was the perfect house for our family. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful week!

Great location in a quiet beach community. The owner answered all our questions immediately. The pool and patio was a huge hit- plenty of space for everyone to enjoy being outside. Outdoor shower was helpful, but possibly closing it in would help more with tracking sand indoors, etc. Bedrooms are very small except for the master bedroom. We had 4 adults and 4 children (under 7). I'm not sure how more than two families (or 8 people) could rent. The loft den/playroom was a huge hit for adults and kids. The house definitely needs a major professional cleaning, but didn't hinder our stay. We would rent the house again if we return to Sanbrdige.

We all enjoyed our stay so much — not ready to go home! It was the first time for most in our group (6 adults and 5 grandsons — ages 7-17) to see the ocean — what fun! And the pool was a big hit — such a nice outdoor setting. The toy kitchen caught the eye of our youngest grandson — fixed us supper the first night with his dishes, etc. We also enjoyed walking to the ice cream shops! We really enjoyed our stay in Sandbridge. It was our first time vacationing in this quiet beach town. The house is a short 5 min walk to the beach access, a small market and icecream. The house had one pull cart that the kids liked sitting in. The pool was wonderful and always warm. There is limited shade in the yard so we posted up our beach umbrellas to create some shade. The house was nice and beds were comfortable. The kitchen is a bit small so with all the adults we had to take turns cooking/cleaning. There are a lot of stairs so if traveling with small children I would bring at least 2-3 baby gates. Teresa was quick to respond to questions we had.

The only complaint is that we had to come home. Family of 7 with 5 girls ranging from 5 to 18. The house is nice and had enough room for everyone to have a bed. We enjoyed having the option to walk to the beach or swim in the pool. Sandbridge is a small town but there are lots of produce stands and other sights/things to see and do. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

This house is indeed in a great location. Five minute walks to the beach, a great restaurant, a souvenir shop, and ice cream. The pool is also great, clean and big with many lounge chairs to relax in. However, the the house itself is in great need of a thorough cleaning and overall refreshing. We found cob webs hanging from many ceilings, black areas around the ceiling vents, and lots of mess from prior renters (including two used bandaids on the master’s rug and old food under the runner on the eating table). There was equipment as mentioned for the young kids (like a booster) but unfortunately we didn’t use since they were so dirty. We also found some of the linens in need of replacing, some of the towels and sheets had holes. On the other hand, the beach towels were nice and plentiful and the beach cart was very nice and convenient. Although we loved Sandbridge Beach, we were very disappointed in this house and would not rent this specific house again. Lastly, this is just a FYI, you do have to make up your own beds ( I did not see this mentioned in any other reviews), so if you arrive late just know to allow a little extra time before getting the kids to bed.

This home was so perfect. If you have small kids this is the home for you. My grandkids had so much fun enjoying the pool and all the toys that were provided. Walking distance to the beach, food, and shops. Very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We had a great time at this home with our kids and with their grandparents. It is near the beach and the pool is wonderful. The living room was stocked with toys and very inviting for our little ones (although the ball pit and sandbox were in less great shape). The master bedroom and the room with two bunk beds were great for us and our kids. The other two bedrooms are very small, but suited our needs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed having a quick break from COVID and decided to go to the beach. The house was perfect for our two families (2 adults, 5 kids). We enjoyed the close proximity it was to the beach and the amenities the house had to offer.

Quiet cul-de-sac and close to beach! Beautiful outdoor space for entertaining. The 4 Kids loved the pool and beach toys in the shed. The 5 Adults enjoyed the tiki bar! The Kitchen/dining area is on the smaller side, but everything you need is there if you look. Interesting layout of the house was a little hard on my 75 yr old mother but she said she had a nice time. Teri was fabulous with all questions, welcoming us and allowing a late unexpected checkout (which we loved bc after the past 2 days of rain, we got some nice sun this morning).

If you have young kids stop looking! This house is well stocked with everything you need for young ones - booster seat, portable crib, bunk beds, stroller, beach gear, pool gear, toys and books. If it rains the kids will happily play with the play kitchen and games. If it is sunny the pool and beach access can’t be beat. The kids are already asking when we can go back (we are only two min toward home!). For adults the tiki bar, lounge chairs and pools were great. We will definitely be back!
