We loved this house, it had enough space for my family and I to stay. It was a great location, close to downtown and the Eastport shopping center and restaurants. a great spot to stay in town that allowed us to stay without renting a car.

We had an excellent experience as we celebrated the graduation and commissioning of our son. The owners were very engaging and welcoming from the time we booked the property a year in advance of our big day. I am extremely thankful that Vera called us and let us know that the house was ready ahead of the 4pm check-in because she knew our time for the Superintendent's reception was at 5pm. This was a TREMENDOUS help in lowering the anxiety of getting ready for the reception after traveling 8 hours to Annapolis. The home was exactly as presented on the website and every detail was well thought out, including the Prosecco that was left in the fridge for us when we arrived. Everyone in our party of six found their sleeping arrangements comfortable. When we weren't on campus for events, we were able to relax on the deck or upstairs in the living area on the 3rd floor. Finally, since she didn't have a group scheduled to check-in after us, Vera was thoughtful in offering a late check out on Sunday. Although we decided to head home early to attend a graduation program we didn't know we would have when we booked, we definitely would have taken her up on the offer. We were exhausted after all of the activities the Naval Academy had scheduled and one more day to sleep in would have been perfect. Thank you, Vera and John, for a memorable Commissioning Week!

Beautiful house, great layout, great rental, and an awesome location.

Eastport Annapolis house was the perfect house for our long weekend in Annapolis. First the location. We were able to walk to everything (we are walkers and love to explore). In the morning we walked to the marina with our coffee and tea and then headed into downtown Annapolis. The house is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is fully stocked. The beds are super comfortable. The back patio was perfect for our breakfast in the morning. Thank you John and Vera for sharing your home. Highly recommend renting this property.

Excellent choice and would rent again without hesitation. Owners were accommodating and welcoming, including a complementary bottle of cava on our arrival. Beds were comfortable, linens were great, a/c worked well, kitchen well equipped and a great back yard with nice outdoor furniture. While not an issue for us (all 55+), there are three floors with taller than normal stairs and late night parking might require walking a block or so. Proximity to nearby pub was good if you wanted to eat/drink there and did not cause any noise issues at the house, indoors or out.

The house is amazing! The house is clean and beautifully decorated. It was a short walk to Sail Time to take our sailing certification classes. We hope to be back!! Deborah and David

From the moment we made our booking, the owner’s communication was great - they were absolutely wonderful to work with! Upon arrival to the house, we found that the only thing wrong with this home was that we were going to have to leave at some point. The home, the owners, and the location could not have been more amazing, and we are sure hoping to get back there sometime soon! Thank you for the best Thanksgiving ever! :)

Great location for anything Annapolis related.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ruser's home! The town of Eastport is charming and walking distance to DTA. The home overlooks the water - great for photos. Many restaurants including Boatyard are only a block or 2 away and Davis's Pub is just steps out the front door. We were in for a Navy football game and actually walked to the stadium taking a break in DTA for lunch. The layout of the home was great for 2 couples and 2 teens. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you John and Vera!

Weekend wedding in Annapolis stay was close to perfect. The hosts were delightful and attentive, the house was close to everything and the beds were uber comfortable after long days of celebrating and exploring. Will definitely stay again.

I stayed here with my 11-year-old and 13-year-old so they could do sailing camp for the week. It was lovely, clean and had everything we needed! We loved being able to walk everywhere. Hosts were fabulous!

Our family group of four senior citizens enjoyed a four night stay in this lovely home. The furnishings were attractive as well as comfortable. The kitchen was very thoughtfully stocked and equipped for cooking and dining. Our hostess was very helpful in providing information and recommendations for activity and.restaurants. We hope to be making a return visit soon.

This charming home—just steps from restaurants and the Chesapeake Bay—was wonderful for our family gathering. It is impeccably renovated and had all the amenities you could want in a rental. We enjoyed sunny breakfasts on the patio and movie nights in the comfort of the third floor lounge. It truly felt like a home. Vera and John were superb hosts—taking care of every detail and even leaving a bottle of Cava for us upon arrival. The entire stay was perfect. The house is located in walking distance to restaurants and marinas—so we never had to drive our cars. I highly recommend staying here!

Spent a week in this wonderful home during USNA Commissioning. The house is beautiful and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond.

We had a wonderful time at Vera & John's home. Location was excellent Comfortable beds, everything we needed to cook a few meals and a nice bottle of champagne! Awesome hosts. Would stay there again and are already looking to see if it's available for our next trip.

The children loved the flowers and butterflies. I really felt as if I made a friend in Vera as we had great phone chats.

We stayed at this well appointed home in Annapolis recently and it was a great experience all around. The house is sparkling clean and just lovely. The kitchen has everything you need and more and the beds were very comfy. Their outdoor space is outstanding as well. The location is perfect and close to Davis’ Pub without being so close you could hear it and was within walking distance to the town centre’s restaurants and shops.
