it’s definitely a super nice guesthouse! staff is sooo nice the owner walked us to the station when knowing that we didn’t have an umbrella!!! I’m touched and grateful! very beautiful house, clean room and nice breakfast ! love it here !!!!

Very new yet authentic atmosphere of a well preserved villa from the thirties.

The location was exactly to our liking.It was a quiet neighbourhood with polite people, I appreciated the fact that even thought we arrived at a late hour they welcomed us with warmth.The room was comfortable and big and the terrace had a beautiful view.Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will come back to visit another time for sure!

It was calm and relatively clean..
The shower floor had chalk on it.. It should be cleaned better and the floor is super cold and there is no slippers to wear 😢
The TV works but it doesn't have Netflix as booking specified here..
Also the staff knocked TWICE in the morning (different person each time) asking us when will we check out.. And it wasn't even 12 yet..
Also it's not a queen bed... It's 2 single beds joined together.. They kept moving apart and we had to readjust them.

This is a fabulously located Villa with character and comfortable rooms. Very friendly hosts and a great breakfast. Our room was on the top floor and while everything was wonderful....the bath was not our thing.
Our ensuite bathroom had a shower in the bath - not our preference. We would definitely come back and stay here again though. (and ask for the room with shower!)

Room was very spacious with 2 balconies. The decor was attractive and everything was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming so our whole stay was excellent. This grand house is situated close to the railway station and bike paths so is very convenient. There is car parking and a secure bike shed - big tick :)

Absolutely fabulous place to stay, breakfast was superb, room was spacious & very clean, Henrietta, Gurtie & Trijnie were amazing, so helpful, kind, caring, loving & super amazing with our children! We were sad to leave, even the kids! But will definitely be back! 2 min walk from train station nd 5 min walk to town centre!! Brilliant location!
You won't be disappointed staying here.. it was like being away but at home, so welcoming 🙏

Breakfast was simple and homely, but nice and fresh.
It’s a beautiful old villa with wooden floors. It didn’t bother us, but I can imagine the noise from the squeeky floor boards and stairs being an issue to some if guests are less considerate during their stay.

Warm welcoming people. Breakfast was wonderful! Very comfortable bed and a nice big bath. Very close to the station, to the centre of the town (with a lot of nice shops and restaurants) and even close to the forest...a real 'hunebed' at only 5 minutes walk :)

Next to Emmen train station, only 2 minutes walk. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Very clean and organised, you feel at home.
Nothing particularly, but it will be nice if there is a working desk in the room for a laptop, but I guess it depends on the room.
