The property had a really nice decor and definitely really cool compared to the outside temperature thanks to the air conditioning however didn’t meet the standards we expected compared to the reviews found online.

The property was a bit dirty. Hair and sand were found in the shower and sink blocked in the bathroom. Previous guests belongings found under the bed and the single bed collapsed in the middle of the night as the bed slats weren’t secured Also damp smell is really strong which could be an issue if you stay for few days. No coffee or tea in the apt or even a bottle of water offered. The apt has amazing potentials but needs some attention.

Amazing location, loved the village, near everything, nice and quiet. Host was so friendly and owns the gorgeous bistro near by. Spacious with good facilities. 5-10 minute walk from station.

No outside area to hang any washing, shower seals, taps etc could do with a deep clean, toilet seat loose. Coffee machine blocked but main things clean and tidy.

i have booked a bigger apartment, and they sent us to a smaller one, without any prior notification! the electricity went out as soon as there were few items plugged in, such as phone chargers and a hair dryer! There was no WIFI, although when booked it was included! There were no toiletries such as hair shampoo or body shampoo. NOTHING!!!! When I talked to the owner of the apartment, instead of asking for an apology he was very rude, and tried to convince me that we didn’t need a bigger apartment but the one he choose for us!!!! I would not recommend it to no one ever!!!!

Everything. Beautiful apartment and great location for visiting Pompei, Vesuvius and Amalfi Coast. Lovely restaurants near by, specially Bistrot la Piazzetta and Franco’s Pizzeria. Gianmario, the host, was great and very helpful.

You need to budget for parking - €20/day

The apartment is in the centre of town and only 5 minute walk to the train and bus station. Sorrento is 10 minutes on the train and Naples 55. Apartment is beautiful, clean and open plan. It has a comfy king-size a single and and a sofa bed. Friendly local restaurant opposite good value food. It has air con and heater and everything you need.Happy we stay in Vico Esquence as it's less busy and a beautiful place. Friendly host I would highly recommend.

Nothing really!! One wardrobe was full of extra bedlinen. If there was more than two of us we would of needed the other one

really clean and tidy, nice modern decor, bedroom bathroom and kitchen and living room perfect size for a holiday apartment. also nice and quiet and cannot hear any of the cars and bikes going by the main square.

Client oriented staff! We entered to the apartment but it was cold there, the staff changed the room for us. A really well-equipped place even for a long term.

Maybe it was a tiny smell inside it because it’s a little bit under ground. But it wasn’t a problem

Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures and great reviews. There was definitely a potential when it was newly refurbished but looks like place was run down. Apartment we got was definitely not clean. It appears apartments on the ground floor are divided from each other by a single internal door, hence there is no intimacy/privacy whatsoever. Bed is so loud and uncomfortable!Bathroom was in a very bad state. There is a SMEG coffee machine, kettle and toaster, but only toaster was working. Kettle was full of lime scale, only cleaned after we asked the host. We got same kettle returned stinking of vinegar. Host couldn’t speak English, so there was also a lack of communication. for €125 a night it was a rip off nothing else. We booked this place for a week and paid €1000 for our stay.

Everything, Spotless, comfortable and everything you'd need to stay for longer thank the 1 night we stayed. My wife and I actually looked to stay for 3 nights but unfortunately was booked.

Awesome location tucked behind the main square in Vico. The host was very kind and accommodating and the place is newly renovated and spotless. Just a short walk away are amazing cliff side views and bus to beach access.

I didnt love the fact that was in a basement

We only stayed for 15 minutes. Had to leave because the smell of humidity/mould was unbearable.

Upon entering the place smelled of mould and mildew (photos attached). The owner quickly pulled out a dehumidifier out of the wardrobe. It marked 80%. There was extensive mildew throughout, more than would normally be acceptable. For example, the seal around the fridge door was black. Also, the bed side tables were not clean and mould was growing where previous guests would have left their fingerprints. The wall behind the bed had blistering paint from rising damp. There are only 2 outside windows. The owner told us we can open them for ventilation - but only when we are inside the apartment. There are no grilles or bars for security, otherwise we could have let it ventilate while we were out. Moreover the behaviour of the owner is unacceptable because he left in a hurry and when we called with the complaint, he answered that he can't come because he was having dinner with this family. So he never bother to come and address the issues indicated. We got no compensation, because according to him, he only has positive reviews. So here goes.

it was really nice and stylish. it was also in a town that was surrounded with restaurants and gelato places which was great. the staff were really nice and recommended things to do and were also a text away. beds were good and soft. there was enough space for clothes

The cockroaches, spiders and drain flies. lack of windows and there was a damp smell. you’ll know what it is once you’ve smelt it but your eventually get used to it. there was also a plumbing issue with the loo but that was sorted out very quickly

Great location very near to sea and beach. their white theme was excellent. There is a cleaner as well who does cleaning and dishes daily. Special word for host Cristian - wonderful lovely guy who explained things to do at Veco. can’t get a more lovely host than Cristian. 10/10 to him as well as property

Everything, it was amazing

Very friendly and nice host! The next day after arriving, we found on the kitchen table a surprise for the children - drawing books and pencils. We talked about our desire to rent a boat and the host arranged a boat rental for us at a very good price.

The apartment could have been more soundproof, someone was talking out loud until late at night one evening

Very nice apartments, newly remodeled and nicely decorated. Very clean!. The host Cristian was very accomodating and replied promptly to every request, made us feel very welcome. Also moved us to a different apartment upon request.

The score would be a perfect 10, if we hadn't booked the basement apartment. Avoid that one, it is exactly what it says (basement with no windows) and has a ventilation issue and a strong smell of humidity (whoever knows this smell will recognize it in an instant). Otherwise very nicely renovated and decorated, also very clean (spotless!).
