Comfortable beds, location near the beach, clean.

No washer, shared kitchen, front desk sketchy hours despite set time/hrs advertised.

Beautiful property in an amazing location close to everything and within steps to the beach.

Parking is a problem, but that's true of all hotels in this area.

The management went out of their way to please, offering me a room upgrade with ocean view and preparing the hot tub for me. Breakfast at Nata was excellent.

Everything was great!

That it was at the beachfront almost and near all the restaurants, coffee shops etc. Also breakfast was very good both mornings.

Parking was difficult to find and a fair distance from the hotel. It was also on quite a steep hill. In the hotel itself some of the stairs were steep and narrow. People with mobility difficulties may struggle getting up and down them.

Clean, great staff, great location.

Small, cramped and awkward shape room and bathroom. Very little place to store clothes. The room overlooks a very noisy restaurant and square, difficult to get a decent night's sleep.

The location was excellent. It was a great price! Breakfast was included and was an added value. Food and service was excellent.

Room was very small with not convenient electrical plugs for devices. Only one very small container of liquid soap for both shower and hand soap at sink.

Chambre très confortable bien que très petite (difficile d'ouvrir la valise ailleurs que sur le lit). Mais malheureusement, logement extrêmement bruyant. Impossible de dormir avant 1h à 2h du matin avec les restaurants en bas sur la place malgré les fenêtres fermées.

Great place and close to everything. Staff was super nice. Breakfast was great.

Unfortunately we were staying in a different building and not in the main building. The main building seemed nicer. Also we had issues closing the bathroom sliding door. Was bit of a pain.

Facility was pretty, beautifull decor, view to the sea. Very clean.

Room was above a noisy business, breakfast had limited choices, no fruit at all and no repeating anything, the bread was also old, not fresh!

Safe didn't work

Location was great! Close to beach, funicular, and on cute square. Pre set breakfast was good at restaurant outside the door (tables reserved for By the Sea guest). Host helped carry heavy luggage up circular steps.

Room was small, but doable (we had one large piece of luggage and one small).

The location could not be any better. The rooms were very clean.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was spotless . Location was excellent. A great place to visit . Very lively and chilled out . Would definitely go back .

The location is just "by the sea" and it is very good. The host is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are good. All in all a good hotel but(read below)..

There are several night bars arround the hotel and it was very noisy untill 4am. So if you need a good sleep - it won't happen. I had an earplugs and still was able to hear the party.

The air conditioning and tv didn’t work properly and it was so noisy outside because of the restaurant there is right under the rooms

Location is very good for sea view but getting there is a nightmare and parking is a real problem!! We had to walk 600m for secure parking! There is no lift!! Breakfast was very good! Rooms were comfortable! You are ideally situated to walk the promenade

Lovely rooms with a great breakfast to go with it.

Everything was super great. The friendliest owner, the most beautiful view from the room and the most delicious breakfast of our trip to Portugal. I highly recommend it.

Breakfast was good and very handy. Just make sure you like the eggs or you won't Automatically get them.

The reception could have been a little bigger

This was such a unique stay with very friendly staff in a fantastic location just seconds away from so many restaurants, shops and the beach. Our room looked straight out to the beach and had a balcony. Our room was modern, tastefully decorated and very clean & there was a kitchen/ lounge area to use as well that was quiet and clean and can work well as a workspace. The wifi was excellent. The breakfast is served across the road at a local cafe and the pastries were freshly made.

Breakfast across the street a Nata was great. Best bread basket ever. The room was bright and clean and the location was right near the action and the ocean.

If you need to get here by car, parking is a HUGE problem. We ended up almost half mile away and we’re worried about leaving a rental on the street overnight. Turns out, it was fine but not ideal.
