It was clean with good views

Extremely treacherous access. Impossible to manage without a private transport. You cannot come in and out of this place to the main road even once without a car. Nearest grocery point was about 10 min drive away

Francesco is very helpful. He picked me up from and to the train station. He takes also care of his beautiful garden. All the special requests we had He fulfilled and went out the extra mile. We will definitely come back.

There are no hooks or hangers in the bathroom. 1 window in the living room is out of order.

Secluded apartment in beautiful grounds. So peaceful! Lovely pathways for walks in the hills and to the next village.

The road that leads to the object is a bit difficult to get through in the winter months. It’s steep and windy so better have good tires when wet.

Fantastic location and facilities with a great Host. Would gladly go back. We had a car whilst there but if you figure the bus out there is a stop very nearby.

The apartment was clean well-equipped and had amazing views of the coast. We stayed with our 20 month old son and they had organised for a well maintained travel cot and high chair when we arrived. The host was welcoming and very helpful in organising a trip to capri and local restaurant bookings. They made our first family holiday abroad very easy and cannot recommend enough.

New pool which is even better than the existing photos. Great views over Capri and Ischia. Fantastic service from Francesco and family (we didn’t have a car so they came and ferried us up the hill from the main rod when we arrived and when we left) Coffee machine by the pool and some homegrown tomatoes.

One of the most beautiful properties I've stayed at. Francesco was a great host (and his daughter and her partner!), and gave plenty of advice and help with things around the area. Room was large, stayed cool during the day, and good cooking facilities for breakfasts and some simple lunches (also barbecue facilities provided outdoors). Views are even better in real life than in the photos; waking up and wandering out onto the balcony looking out over Capri with nothing but church bells and birdsong is breathtaking. Can't recommend it highly enough- looking to return later this year in fact!

Worth bearing in mind a car will make your life much easier here. The buses into Sorrento are unpredictable and fairly infrequent (Francesco was again very helpful in providing times), and stop fairly early (last one from Sorrento Town is 22:30). Taxi is approx €35. Even if that sounds like an issue I implore you to rethink; the compromise is worth it for staying in one of the most beautiful and tranquil properties you're ever likely to find.

Fabulous views, brilliant outdoor areas - pool and bbq. A nice touch of coffee by the pool included. Very comfortable apartment with air con and balconies. Very close to bus stop to Sorrento/Positano. We hire a car which was very useful.

Firstly, Francesco was a fantastic host - he met us and took our bags to the property. He arranged all our transfers and helped us with timetables for the buses etc. He allowed us a later check out which was much appreciated. The villa was beautiful, we loved it! The view was unbelievable and we never got tired of looking at it. The villa was spotlessly clean with plenty of towels. Shower was lovely and the water was hot. The drive was steep and as we didn't have a car we needed to walk up it from the bus but it didn't bother us - it just made the G&T on the balcony looking at the spectacular view taste all the more special. We had the two bed villa ( the red one in the photos ) which was ideal for the three of us. The pool was very nice and looked new as seemed to differ from the photos. The free coffee at the poolside was much appreciated. We will certainly be back as we would like to book the apartment with the private terrace.

Location is a bit uphill

The owner Francesco and his family were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. They made us feel extremely welcome and the accommodations was of a very high standard. We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Francesco and family.

The view and location is stunning. The outdoors are wonderful too. Unfortunately end October was too late to use the swimming pool and the barbecue place. We also slept very well, the bedrooms are very comfortable and well equipped.

The Kitchen is sub-standard. Luckily, this year we decided to eat outside, but normally we cook. It would not have been possible with the provided equipment. The fridge is very noisy and we can hear it in the bedrooms. The shower is much too small and very impractical. Generally speaking the finishes of the appartement are not at level.

The Villa is even prettier in person. The view, the apartment was spotless, all amenities in great condition and very comfortable. Francesco, the owner, is wonderful and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He made sure we had a fantastic stay and took care of anything we needed. Additionally, he provided information for various activities and tours in the area.

The view is absolutely fabulous! We saw Capri Island every morning. We also enjoyed the entire place, remote and quiet (except the music from the location below which, by the way, was excellent). Tbe free coffee at the pool was also great. Francesco, the host, was very nice and polite. This a place to recommend.

Lack of cleaning for all the time we've stayed there (5 nights). No changing sheets or towels, no cleaning at all. And the fact that we've asked for one more hour before leaving (11 instead of 10) and we were refused.

No washing up liquid provided. A few more kitchen utensils would be good, fish slice, oven glove There was and ironing board but no iron

Beautiful setting, quiet location to take in the sunset, comfy bed, relaxing and varied sun/shade area by pool, shared bbq area, fresh produce from land, spacious apartment, very helpful hosts - thank you for looking after us so well. We walked to Sorrento a lot, challenging but good walk. 40 mins along quiet roads and lots of steps brings you into the centre of Sorrento. The pool is the perfect temperature after a hot walk back... Good supermarkets within 15 mins drive. Il Borgo a local option for a good restaurant. There are three apartments but each has private balconies. We stayed in apartment with terrace and the sunsets were amazing.

As previous reviewers have mentioned, it’s a steep and narrow road to access property, so practice your hill starts if you have a hire car! The kitchen could have had more items given self catering, but the host swiftly bought everything we asked for, so adding this in so people know to ask.
