Rented this home for a family weekend getaway. Can't beat the amazing ocean views. The home is within a well maintained community with a golf course. Nice walk down to Pinnacle beach. Short drive down to Duran beach and nearby shops/restaurants. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, board games, and beach toys. Overall, home was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated (more updated than what's seen in listing photos). A minor issue i.e. main lights in dining/kitchen did not work at all but thankfully summer days are long. Owners were fairly responsive

Washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, air filter, sink, and shower/ tub drains are all filthy. Fridge & dishwasher had discoloration & bad smells coming out of it. Washer & dryer have scaling and hair stuck all over them inside. Air filter completely coated with dust. Shower/ tub drains had hair in them. Dust & dirty hand/ finger prints scattered all around the walls & furniture. Misc. damage all over the walls, cabinets, counters, baseboards, pretty much on everything. The misc. damage could be overlooked, but it should be disclosed in the listing. Cutting board had crumbs on it. Drawers had misc. debris in them. A window was replaced or modified at some point and it appears to be leaking and have what appears to be black mold spots all around it. The drywalling around it is poorly done, possibly not painted, and the corner beads are cracked. Electrical blank cover plates were partially covered by baseboards, voids in tiles around old shower fixtures that do not work, electrical cover plates modified or missing-- all building code violations. The voids around the shower had slugs coming in. A skylight is cracked, a window is cracked. There is a cable for the beam above the dining room table that is not screwed in, just hanging from the rafters. It is a great location, and a charming property, it is just not maintained or cleaned properly. This property should not be listed for rent anywhere until the shoddy construction is corrected, and is professionally maintained & cleaned.

We had an amazing stay in Bodega Bay! The house was very clean, had all the necessary amenities and the views were amazing. Will definitely be returning to this property the next time I visit Bodega Bay.

Great location with a quick walk to the beach. The bedrooms worked well for my family with adults and littles. Only hiccup we had, was no instructions to access the property, but we contacted the owner and that was resolved quickly. The internet was an issue but again, contacted the owner and it was resolved quickly (modem name got changed by the vendor). Hands down, the best stocked kitchen I have seen yet!!! Loved every minute of being there. Note: There are stairs going up when you walk in and a few more stairs up to the kitchen and stairs down to the front room section. Took a village to keep the toddler in check with the stairs. 😉

Great view -

This beautiful home is located in a very convenient and safe location, with a short walk to a private clean beach. The views from the house are gorgeous and the beach tidepool area is amazing! The home is fully stocked and looks professionally decorated. The sheets and towels were luxurious! The hot tub and pool table were a very nice added feature. We can't wait to visit again!

This Bodega Harbor home has incredible unobstructed views of the ocean with large windows from the kitchen and living room areas. It is a spacious house with cozy sitting nooks and plenty of board games/billiards/spa. The dining area is large but the only drawback is a small kitchen area. However, it has plenty of kitchenware with quality small and large appliances for your cooking needs. The outside front sitting area has comfortable adirondack chairs and seems to be somewhat wind protected. The beach trail is close by and you can reach the beach in only a few minutes. We definitely would stay here again!

Five girlfriends stayed for two nights. The best part of this house is the views. The house is very spacious, with plenty of room. Kitchen has everything necessary for cooking coffee, etc. but seriously needs updating - very old barely functional kitchen cabinets. Lots of stairs, so I would not recommend for seniors or little children, there could be some falls. Overall, we had a great time and the vacation home was very reasonably priced.

Great property, the views are amazing. Easy check in and out process. Loved the privacy of the hot tub. Many of the bedrooms are updated from the pictures. We had 12 women on a one night girls trip and this house was perfect, everyone was raving about the house!

We loved the house. The view was beautiful. We had plenty of room for 8 of us. The hot tub was great. I would stay at this house again ❤️

This house and location is everything we were looking for! We loved the house, made so many great memories cooking together, having our morning coffees out front, watching the sunset with our wine out front, relaxing in the hot tub, playing games, and just enjoying each others’ company, relaxing all weekend with the best views out every window! Plenty of space for everyone to do what they wanted to do.

The multimillion dollar views of the ocean allowed us to enjoy the cost even when the weather decided to turn on us. The house has an open feel while still giving lots of options for quiet spaces when we wanted a moment to ourselves. The hottub is completely shielded from the wind and has 3 access points from the bedrooms. The views from the kitchen through giant windows on 2 side are spectacular. Dinning there was a true treat. The host was very responsive. We are already planning our return next year.

The house was nice overall. But was a power outage when we arrived (after dark), which was an extreme disappointment. We ended up going out for dinner and luckily a few minutes after we returned the power was restored. The beds we’re comfortable, but, for the price of the rental, the bedding was worn and extremity out of date, as was the decor throughout. It was unseasonably warm during our stay and we found the air conditioning was extremely inadequate in keeping the house cool. The majority of the window screens were broken or missing so we were unable to benefit from the cool ocean breeze. Morning revealed the AMAZING view! However, the glorious sunshine streaming through the windows and skylights increased the temp to an uncomfortable 83°.. We would expect window coverings but alas there were none. Ended up using masking tape and sheets from the linen closet to cover the windows temporarily. A greater capacity a/c or window blinds/curtains might work to keep cooler. The house is large, but the kitchen was only big enough for one person to move around. No room for helpers (without constantly bumping into each other). Power cords for Instant pot and electric skillet were nowhere to be found.. The kitchen cupboards were very dirty particularly around the knobs. A pot retrieved from cupboard was greasy. There were two black widows up in the skylight and one outside of the southwest window without a screen.

Gorgeous captivating views in main living areas. Lots of space and privacy. Super responsive and the loveliest property manager ever! Nice trail down to the water. Lots of wildlife watching in and beyond the open space across the road, without even leaving the house! Didn’t want to leave those stunning sunsets. Will definitely stay here again!

This home was amazing. The best part of the home is its views. We had a family gathering with 12 family members. Ages 3 to 87. This home is situated on the bluffs looking out to the ocean. Every morning our family had breakfast at the large kitchen table which easily seated 10 people with additional seating at the counter. The eating area is spacious. While eating breakfast we saw whales breaching, seals, boats leaving from Bodega bay, deer grazing in the grass, birds, and morning marine layer burning off. The kitchen prep area is small but kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. The family room is large and comfortable with a fireplace. The owner provides wood, so we had a cozy fire in the evenings. One wall of the living room is all glass with views of the ocean. There are book shelves with games and books, high wood beamed ceilings, and a designated game area (nook) with a game table and poker chips, and a big screen tv. Plenty of comfortable seating for the whole family. This is a split level house. The large master bedroom has a waterfall showerhead. The spa is in an atrium setting. The beach is 7 minute walk down. At low tide we found starfish, crab, mussels, and all kinds of sea creatures in abundance. The owner (Felicity) is very thoughtful and accomodating. She quickly responded to our questions. Thank you Felicity for sharing your beautiful home. The whole family loved this home and we will be back.

Great house with amazing views. Lots of room for a family with short walk to the beach. Amenities offered things for all ages from pool to jacuzzi to games. Would definitely return.

We had a great time. Hot tub was in primo condition and we all enjoyed it at various times during our stay.

The house, location was all good. The kitchen could use an upgrade but it was clean. The master bathroom was not finished, couldn’t use the shower as no drainage. The same in the other bathrooms. 2 bathrooms were working and two were incomplete.

As I only have an opportunity to meet with extended family every few years, this was a lovely get away from home. Directions and access to the beach was a short walk and even with the variability in weather changes, you can't beat the view and close proximity. We had the pleasure of seeing seven deers grazing on the hillside across, providing another photo opportunity. The kitchen provided many amenities and there was plenty of towels/blankets for use. As a veteran with chronic pain, I appreciated the level of comfort I had- from the beds to the hot tub I felt very relaxed. The owner was very responsive and if I can return again I will.

Great view and trail to the beach. Everything else was rough. Two bathrooms don’t have hot water which means there is one working master bath and everyone else has to share the other bathroom. One of the bathrooms was dirty with debris everywhere. We had to immediately clean the house before unpacking. Closet doors were off the tracks and leaning against walls. The dryer in the house destroyed clothes by ripping holes in them. There was no place to hang wet swimsuits or towels. The house had major issues, but it was spacious, and the location was great. Hopefully, they can tie up all the loose ends on a house that is still a work in progress, but not advertised as such.

Overall, my family specially my disabled mother enjoyed the stay. She was the reason for the trip. She was able to enjoy the ocean view from the kitchen/dining room. We will come back again as she has already requested to go back. lol

As advertised, it had a beautiful view of the bay and the Pacific Ocean with easy access to the beach below. It was also advertised as a four bedroom four bath home, but there were only three bathrooms available as one was locked off. I felt we should have been told of this prior to our arrival. Two of the four tv’s did not work. We couldn’t close one bathroom window completely. The main living room was comfortable and roomy with a large tv. There are several levels to this house which requires a lot of stair steps. As a senior I wouldn’t return for that reason alone.

Wonderful time

The location and views of this house are awesome! That being said, by far the worst part is the check-in process. They gave us the address 1 week before our stay, normal. But nothing after that until 15mins before check-in. The property manager finally answered my call and gave us the key location. Keeping in mind most of the people were coming from 3-4 hrs away. The rental description is off. First there was not 4 bathrooms, there were 3 all on one side of the house. Meaning anybody staying in either of the 2 front bedrooms are out of luck. 2nd, there are 2 master bedrooms not 3 as the listing states. Only the TV's in the rear master bedroom and living room worked, with very limited channel access in the bedroom....not a smart TV, so no Netflix just the very, very basic cable. None of the other 3 bedrooms with TV's worked at all....some of them weren't even plugged in. It's hard to believe that things are verified before each party checks-in as the description says. Seems simple to verify that all lights work, change some bulbs and check that all the TV's are in working order. When the value of the stay is based on the amenities provided, hard to take when a lot of those items don't actually work. The private beach is awesome, although the hike back up is a little rough, certainly doable. We had 4 adult couples......we all agreed we would absolutely rent this house again. Just a little disappointing for the description to be so off.

Best view in the neighborhood with lots of room to play games and/or sit and chat. Great for our group of two families (4 adults and 6 kids). The walk to the beach is super easy and less than 5 minutes.

Spacious for gathering and reunion. Could use a little bit of upgrades but, overall a pleasant stay and good location

We have stayed at many homes in Bodega Bay and this is the best view by far!

The description of cleanliness of house was not accurate. Leaking roof in 3 places, con webs and moldy window ceils and walls from water damage. The location was wonderful and amazing views. Hot tub was in our opinion not usable.
