service could be improved as a courtesy. we waited 10 minutes before paying for a phone call to end, I hope it was work. an extra smile wouldn't hurt…

Location is excellent, just 50 meters beside the sea and city walls. The room was spacious (compared to average rooms size in France)

Late check in (9.30pm) after ferry. Central.location, garage for bicycles. Newly refurbished room, good shower.

Basic breakfast, room was small with small window. (We enjoyed s second stay in room 15 better!)

Newly decorated room and new bathroom with good shower. Our room (15) had a nice view over a square and big picture window - so it was light and airy. Heated towel rail. Great location. Good evening meal. Early check in, helpful staff with garage for bicycles

Hotel was nice and clean, looks like a recent revamp and the decor was lovely. TV worked well and had a good range of channels.

Check in was a little difficult as the place was locked. I rang the phone number many time but no one picked up. The staff from the pub next door tried to assist and said it seems to be a common occurrence. I finally managed to enter the premises by following another guest into the building. Very stressful experience.

This is a great little family-run hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfy, and the shower was really great. The restaurant is also excellent and really good value. I cannot find fault with this wonderful hotel.
