The villa was spot on with a fabulous bathroom. The pool and surrounding area felt luxurious and the entire hotel was really peaceful and quiet. The staff were really attentive and helpful.

The beach! It was full of debris from the sea, of course not the hotels responsibility, but it was impossible to enjoy. Its a shame that the hotels in the vicinity don't work together to take improve this blot on an otherwise beautiful location.

Staff and facilities and the location

Breakfast - very disappointed as some of the very basic items stated were not available when at breakfast. For example, there were approx 3 types of cereal that were listed, but only cornflakes were available. 4 types of juices were listed, and only 3 were available. Menu stated string hoppers. Again, it was not available at breakfast. If items are unavailable, why include them in the menu provided to the guests!!! We stayed for 3 nights, and the breakfast choice for all the days was the same!

The property was quite and not busy

Very little staff. Only one therapist at the spa. Little or no service near pool area

Beautiful setting with the pool area and room about the best we experienced on our tour of Sri Lanka.

Only downside was a slight lack of personal touch and despite the buffet food being lovely there was very little atmosphere in the dining area
