Everything. The rooms were clean and the host was amazing from the time we got to the Riad.
The host did t hesitate to explain everything from the best restaurants to which places to visit.
Breakfast was also amazing and very authentic and amazingly presented.

A fan in the room would have been good - it was a bit stuffy with the window closed and a bit noisy with it shut.

Véritable coup de cœur pour ce petit Riad en plein cœur d’essaouira situé dans une ruelle très calme , l’accueil y est chaleureux, les chambres sont très propres , confortable avec une déco sobre et raffinée .
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent fait maison avec de bons produits locaux.
Nous y reviendrons les yeux fermés.
Je recommande vivement.

Finalmente un Riad da ricordare dopo molta mediocrità!! Qui tutto è perfetto, dall'accoglienza ai minimi dettagli della location e della camera con addirittura piccolo vaso di rose fresche. Gentilissimo tutto lo staff sempre disponibile e sorridente. Il top è stata la colazione di elevata qualità, ricchezza di prodotti e freschezza. La colazione mi ha davvero riconciliato con la cucina marocchina per la verità piuttosto monotona. Molto bella la terrazza attrezzata con comodi lettini.
Un piccolo fraintendimento per l'orario della colazione chiesta in anticipo ...ma certamente compensata da tutto il resto

L’équipe est très accueillante et très aidante. Amine donne de bons conseils et de bonnes adresses ! Le petit déjeuné préparé sur place est juste extraordinaire ! Bravo à la cuisinière !!

Personnel d'une gentillesse extrême.
La Medina est fréquentée la nuit donc il y a quand du bruit jusqu'à minuit au moins.
Le lit était trop dur à notre goût.

A great location within the old town but just a 5 minute walk from the Supratours bus station (buses from Marrakech).
All the staff were fabulous, being welcoming, warm and attentive.

Nous sommes déjà venus plusieurs fois au Dar Awil et ne sommes jamais déçus ! Le Riad est agréable, bien entretenu, et super bien situé dans la Médina. Le petit-déjeuner est juste parfait, le meilleur de tout ceux que nous connaissons !

Zeer gezellige setting in de medina. Het personeel is ongelooflijk vriendelijk, verwelkomend en hulpvaardig. Het ontbijt is magnifiek; lekker en veel. Zonnig terras op het gebouw met ligbedden.
De bedden zijn wat aan de hardere kant.

Un riad comme on aime, accueillis avec chaleur, gentillesse, décoré avec gout, à 2 pas de la Porte Bab Marrakech, dans la Medina et idealement situé pour visiter la médina, le port ou se balader sur la plage! Mention spéciale au petit dejeuner préparé avec amour et chaque matin différent: un regal dès le reveil! Merci à toute l'equipe!

The Riad is lovely, extremely clean and in a great location. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast delicious and abundant. The staff is the nicest we've met in Morocco and we would like to thank them again for a fantastic stay.

The staff were excellent and informative, helping us settle in by giving us a run-down of what to do and where in Essaouira.
We booked a double bed and were disappointed to find our room had two single beds pushed together - this was very uncomfortable and made worse by the fact that the mattresses were too stiff. Our sleep was also disturbed by the poorly fitted rattling door throughout the night. Furthermore, the walls were very thin and we could hear other guests making noise into the early hours of the morning.

Amazing room with private balcony looking over central courtyard. Very well decorated throughout, including a beautiful kitchen on the ground floor. Big shower in room, and large sun terrace on rooftop. Breakfast was the best we had during our trip, including eggs, cakes and yoghurts. Staff were extremely friendly, giving us a map of Essaouira. Location was very good right in the centre of the old medina.
No air conditioning in room although wasn't needed when we stayed. No pool or jacuzzi but we were aware of this when we booked - it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach!
