The house was warm and cozy, the beds were very comfortable and it was good to be able to walk to the local pub.

Being a converted old property there were steps between living, kitchen and between bedroom areas. My husband is a little unstable so some warning on the details or marking across the floors would have been helpful.

Well decorated and appointed. Location was perfect for walks around the county. Local pub was excellent for food and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautifully presented cottage with very well stocked kitchen. Perfect for our two couples with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Owners provided fresh eggs from their chickens, plus other basic food and snacks. Everywhere was very clean with lovely bedding and towels. Pretty private garden with plenty of outdoor seating. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay. An ideal place to discover East Sussex. Thank you so much Stephanie.

tranquillity and a lovely outside sitting area. secure garden for our dogs was very much appreciated. excellent kitchen facilities and very comfortably furnished. As an older visitor I would have liked a non slip mat for the shower and bath. I would definitely book again.. I used to live in East Hoathly so enjoyed meeting friends. local village shop and pub both excellent. a reasonable bus service toUckfield and Eastbourne which as a non driver was useful. lovely walks especially in Moat Wood

Very comfortable space which was very clean and we'll presented. All necessary equipment was provided as was many condiments in the kitchen. Even past guests u taken toiletries were left for our use. The welcome was exceptional and the best we have ever had - much appreciated. Thank you!. Hosting was excellent

The second bedroom was a little cramped which didn't help at the hottest period this year - the host provided fans which helped. There are a few unexpected steps between areas so some care is needed when walking between them.

Stephanie was an excellent host, attentive and thoughtful without being constantly present. The accommodation was beautifully clean and quiet and Stephanie had also provided not only bread, butter and eggs ( delicious from her own chickens), but wine and crisps as well!
