De locatie was top. Eigenaresse was buitengewoon aardig en heel erg gezellig. Ook een heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt.

A unique experience to stay in a cave house. Ana was friendly and helpful the place was clean and tidy with a nice en-suite bathroom

It is very dark in the cave.

This is a nice cave built by the owners who are eager to please and help with anything that they can. It is on the edge of town so it's a good walk to the centre but we were happy to do that.

If you are looking for some privacy and/or sleep then don't come here(when the other room is booked). The description is extremely misleading. It says "There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit" The word unit implies something separate but the apartment is shared with the hosts and your room here also has a big space all along the top of one wall which adjoins a corridor and another room opposite which is also open at the top. This means that you can hear every tiny noise or movement from the opposite room about 1 metre away. The hosts are aware of the problem, supplying earplugs, but I would never have chosen this place if I had known what they know. I can only guess that most of the good reviews here were fortunate to visit when the opposite room was not occupied. The private bathroom sounds like it will be in the "unit" but it is not in your room and is accessed by means of the corridor which is shared with the other room and the hosts. There is an automatic light triggered when someone enters the corridor which fully lights up your room because of the gap in your wall so if your neighbours go to the bathroom many times during the night, as ours did, then you are likely to be woken often by the light and the noise.

Lovely host and the cleanliness

It was NOT clear on booking.com thst this was a shared house with the owners.We only had access to the bathroom and bedroom.The rest of the rooms were the owners space.We had no were to relax outside.

Very very friendly hosts who really make you feel welcome. Very quaint and cosy. Location is superb and their recommendation for a meal and music in the town square was sensational and really made the evening.

Lovely warm welcome from Ana and Miguel, treated like family. The cave house was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and Miguel took us for a personal tour of the local church (Part cave church). We chatted in Spanglish as we don't speak much Spanish and they didn't speak much English, but it was great fun .

What makes this place are the hosts who endeavour to give you the very best time during your stay and loads of little extras. The whole cave house was built by the owners and the charming artistic features make the place even more unique. They host from their hearts and would 100% recommend if you visit Gaudix. They know so much about the local area too.
