Stay in Apart Hotel Room 304 in the purpose built New Gudauri for true ski-in ski-out and a cluster of restaurants and the best ski rental shops in the valley. Apart Hotel is directly in front of the main gondola at the base of Gudauri. Everything works; wifi, hot water, heating, kitchenette, and the location. It is better to take a taxi to venture out into the valley for dinner, than staying in one of the hotels on the access road and relying on shuttles to ski and taxis to dine out. The rooms/suites in the Hotel, Spa, & Suites building #5 are privately owned and rented, so some may be better appointed and managed than others, but they share services like wifi, hot water, and the 24 hour lobby attendant to collect and return keys. If you are looking for a great, easy, snow sure place for a family ski vacation, Gudauri is it.

I’m a frequent traveler and this is my first time I rate 10 a property. The apparent is confortable, well equipped and super clean. Close to the gondola, supermarket and many restaurants. Also the owner was very welcoming.

Some nights were noisy because of the loud music from nearby bars and restaurants. The internet speed needs some improvement.

The room was as described. I was there with my 2 teenage children and there was enough space for us all. The host is a fantastic gentleman who is helpful and always willing to answer questions via whatsapp 😊👍🏽

The building 5 (Suites) reception staff are extremely rude and dismissive and not helpful at all. They didn’t help much during check in, were very unhelpful when I asked them where the ski lockers were and negative and uninterested during check out. The ski area is nice, however starting the gondolas at 10am every day is a little late in my opinion. The general work staff in Gudauri (in various restaurants, both up the mountain and at the bottom) are extremely unhelpful & disrespectful. Simple questions are not answered politely, you can wait over 2 hrs to get served in some places, orders are often incorrect, getting the bill can be as hard as placing the order in terms of waiting time. If you want to go to ski, Gudauri is a good place which is very reasonably priced. If you are also looking for the ambiance of a ski resort and good time off the slopes with family, then i certainly wouldn’t recommend Gudauri because the staff there can come across rude and evasive. A few customer service courses would certainly be beneficial to say the least. 👎🏽😡
