My parents had their 60th wedding anniversary celebration on Camano Island and many friends and family stayed the weekend. My group of aunts and cousins got to stay on the Alpaca Farm and enjoy the welcoming space, expansive views, and talking to the sweet alpacas! The serenity was bliss! The hosts were very welcoming and the home was immaculate. It was a beautiful place to be! Thank you!

This amazing property and home far exceeded our expectations. We VRBO all over the world and this place is easily in our top three worldwide. Extremely well managed, location is great, private, and well equipped with all the essentials. I give this place a 12 out of 10 and would not hesitate to recommend this property to any family looking for the ranch style outdoors classic pacific coast experience. We spent 3 nights and 4 days- sad to leave

We had a wonderful family time at this beautiful property. The house is fun for everyone and was very easy to access for our ADA access requiring grandfather. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong setup and everyone enjoyed the views and feeding the Alpacas! Thank you for offering this great property!

We had an incredible stay at the Alpaca Retreat. The property itself has a view looking out on the water and the photos don't even do it justice. Everything we needed was there right when we arrived and it was a perfect house for our group of 10. There is even an extra fridge that we could use for beverages AND we got in touch with the owners who let us FEED THE ALPACAS before we left. Would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone who is looking at it :) Thank you!

This property has absolutely stunning views that pictures don’t do justice. It’s located on a working farm so our little one loved getting to see the Alpacas, goat, and horse. The inside of the house is gorgeous and equipped with what you need for your stay. The hosts were very kind and quick to answer any questions we had and even organize a “meet & feed” with the Alpacas. These are not negatives, just more of an fyi: There is limited wifi unless you bring your cord to connect into their tower which improved speed and also there are no tv’s. But there are plenty of games, books, and acres to get outside and enjoy the beauty! We would absolutely stay here again :)

Management easy communication

This was the perfect stay.. we went north for whale watching east for a German town and of course into Seattle. The kids loved the animal's it was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped to make any meals we wanted .We take the kids and grandkids on a trip once a year and stay at vbro homes. This is in our top 2. Thank you Beth

Great location with something for every age in our small group. Lots of different spaces for conversations or privacy. Nicely appointed with quality furniture, appliances, bedding... just beautiful in every way. Thank you again.

This property was perfect for our family to stay as it was close to the venue our daughter was getting married at. The surroundings were more beautiful than even pictured. The alpacas were so cute and always made us smile as we drove in and out. The house had all we needed. Each bathroom had plenty of towels. Kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, cute alpaca mugs, etc. We had a large group of family for lunch and it was the perfect size for everyone and Karen was very good about communicating and gracious to agree. Check in and check was super easy. I only wish we had an extra couple days to relax, sit on the deck and enjoy the view. Our daughter is now living in Mount Vernon so I'm sure we will be back. Gorgeous home with beautiful views. Enjoyed playing ping pong downstairs and visiting the alpacas--and was graciously offered (via text) the chance to feed them. We arrived to find a custom greeting written on a small chalkboard, on a table alongside a bowl of snacks. What a warm welcome. Would love to stay again.

This is a fantastic place to visit.. The house is beautifully built and very well-stocked. The view from the main living area is excellent and the two patios are great to relax on. There is plenty of space around for outdoors activities and if the weather is bad, there is a ping-pong table on the lowest floor. The alpacas were a hit with all the kids (and their parents too). Karen is an excellent host and she responded to all our queries very promptly and helpfully. There are 2 supermarkets close by, if you need to buy anything: the QFC in Stanwood and the Camano Plaza IGA further on the island. We are looking forward to visiting again!

There's not a single thing that could have made this lovely home better. From the attentiveness of the owner ( there when we needed, and not there when we didn't), to the peacefulness of the farm and woods, and beauty of the water, to the setup and layout of the house itself -- everything was perfect for our 6 adults and 1 almost 3 year old. The eagles, owls, hummingbirds...and of course the sweet alpacas...were icing on the cake.

So beautiful house and views. We had such a great time here. The bed, bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The only downside is that there is no TV. There were some mosquitoes flying around at night. We used mosquito repellent candles. I hope this information is helpful to other guests. The owner of the house sold and displayed small items about alpaca. We wanted to buy the alpaca magnet that was on the refrigerator, but it seems they didn't sell it. Next time I have a chance, I would like to purchase a refrigerator magnet. Cute Alpaca.

The Alpaca farm was great! We enjoyed the views and lived watching the water during high tide. The house is beautifully designed and the outside space is so enjoyable and welcoming. Loved that there was a fire pit and the kids loved the horses and Alpacas, even had some kittens as well. The rooms were well appointed and there were plenty of supplies which was really nice as we travel often and many times you are very limited on things such as toilet paper and paper towels. It's a beautiful place in a quiet location.

Alpacas de la Patagonia is truly a magical place! This was a beautiful and peaceful property that is owned and run by a wonderful family. The personal touches you see right when you check in show how the owners go above and beyond. Our family had six adult relatives and a total of three children aged 3, 4 and 6. The home is fantastic with plenty of space and a great setup for 3 couples and kids in the bunk bed game room downstairs. Everything you need is well stocked. We saw bald eagles, rabbits chasing each other through the yard and two large deer who made several laps around the house to eat the flowers and play. They saw us watching from the large windows and kept enjoying themselves! We really enjoyed the basketball court and the many outdoor deck spaces to relax, eat and decompress. The highlight of the trip was definitely getting to feed treats to the alpacas! Honestly, we couldn't stop saying how great this place was. Truly a gem and we felt so fortunate to have booked early and experienced a fantastic June weekend with perfect weather!

The property is beautiful and spacious. The home has a cabin feel with all modern amenities in kitchen and bathrooms. The private forest walk is so refreshing. We spent entire days enjoying the view, listening to birds, and playing in the sport court with the kids. It really recharged us. Access is very convenient, no need for a ferry. Karen is a great host and responded promptly whenever needed. We have saved this property as our favorite and we are definitely going to go back.

We really liked our stay here. We wanted to stay at a place where we don't need to worry about social distancing, this place was perfect... They had everything we wanted in our vacation rental. We will certainly revisit this place. Karen was an amazing host, very communicative and they even offered us to feed Alapca and that was one of the highlights of our trip.

We had a wonderful weekend at the property!! It is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay!! We loved walking the grounds, playing ping pong, basketball and pickle ball. Best staycation ever!!

We loved literally everything about this property. I wish I could keep it a secret for us to enjoy but we had such a great time and loved absolutely everything about it that it would be unfair! The view was impeccable, the quietness throughout our stay was such a breath of fresh air, and the entire property just brought us back to nature. We will be back and hopefully very soon!

My family had the best time at this house. Very private, quiet, and couldn’t have walked away more pleased. Eagles flying right in front on the windows, baby alpacas and horses in the pasture. Will definitely be coming back again.

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal. Our family really enjoyed our stay.

We booked the big house along with the cottage (another listing) for our wedding party to stay for our wedding weekend. The big house has three levels. Very very easily sleeps 10. Interior of the house is gorgeous. We did our “getting ready” shots here. Gals upstairs in front of the full-length mirror. Guys down in the basement. Karen was awesome through the whole experience. Highly recommended if you have a larger group all needing to stay on the island.

What a joy it was to stay at the beautiful alpaca farm. Spectacular views, impeccable house. They addressed even the smallest question or concern promptly and made our stay amazing. We will absolutely be staying there again in the future.
