The house was airy and bright with plenty of space to spread out. It was decorated so cute for fall and had lots of little details that made it even better. I will say some of the pictures online were somewhat misleading. The upper deck/rooftop fireplace area is not as pictured, and the rattan outdoor furniture was not available either so that was a little disappointing, but overall we had a great stay. The town is within walking distance (if the weather is nice) and has great shopping and restaurants. But be warned almost everything closes at like 6:00pm so plan ahead. *One word to the wise- when owner says “no smoking”, she means for the ENTIRE lot, including outdoors (which isn’t typical). We had 2 girls smoke outdoors a few times and always made sure there were no windows open nearby but apparently it was a huge deal and the owner was very upset. We felt terrible and apologized for the misunderstanding- we just weren’t aware the policy was that strict.

Home is even better than the photos. Perfect location to Bearskin Neck and the beach. Very clean and organized. Really appreciated necessities for young kids like a crib and toy closet, and even baby proofing if needed. Also really loved having nice basics like Bounty paper towels, full soap dispensers and TP, even salt and pepper and olive oil. Usually it feels like an immediate grocery run is needed when we rent for basics- not the case here. Betsy and Bruce were also wonderful hosts who walked us through all the details and amenities on the property. They were easy to communicate with throughout our stay and quickly answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this property and hosts!

My husband and I , our two kids (ages 4 & 6), and my parents rented this house for a week. The house was really wonderful, clean, modern, and had everything we needed. We really appreciated that the owners didn’t have any personal items around to make us feel like we were staying in someone else’s house. My kids LOVED the toy closet, the layout was great for all of us, and the views of the ocean are amazing. The house is a very short walk from town, but the neighborhood is also very quiet and peaceful. We visited several local beaches and went hiking a few times. We will definitely be back!

This house was beautiful in every aspect! The location was perfect so we could walk into town to enjoy the holiday festivities. The living room provided plenty of space for the whole family to relax and enjoy each other while also enjoying the wonderful views! The kitchen was a dream and provided everything needed to cook a meal. Would definitely recommend this for your next vacation in Rockport!

Everything about this house was simply the best. It was perfect for group gatherings and the views from different parts of the home were simply breathtaking. The owners were very responsive and helpful in getting us situated with what we needed and questions we had. The town is quaint and was an added bonus to this super relaxing and inviting home.

This was an easy as pie renting experience. Smooth! We had a wonderful time.

Our family stayed at the property for a week in August, and we can't say enough wonderful things about the house, the location and the property owners. The house is clean and easy to "live in" with multiple spaces to relax inside as well as a patio with comfy furniture. Second floor toy closet was a hit with our son - he played in there for hours! Great cooking kitchen, plenty of space to spread out and enjoy snacks or a meal. Large third floor provides additional living space with a covered deck to hang out and watch the sunset. Easy walk to town or to Old Garden Beach, and a great walking neighborhood overall. We'd recommend this property to anyone!

We have been renting on Cape Ann for several years, and this property was the most updated and ideally situated one we've had the pleasure to enjoy. Betsy and Bruce were also very welcoming and responsive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We did a family getaway in December and it had a lovely feel to the home. We used each floor for something different. The heated floors were so nice as well as the log fireplace. We walked to town and enjoyed the nearby trails. Quiet yet close to it all. Excellent views of the Atlantic. Would certainly book again. Host very responsive to questions.

If you like Rockport you’ll love the house. A short walk to the beach and the center, beautiful views over the headlands and on a quiet street. The property has everything one would need for a relaxing time off and the owners are responsive and extremely helpful.

The house was beautiful and in immaculate condition. It is situated in an ideal location with wonderful views of Rockport and the ocean from all three floors. It is an easy and pleasant walk into downtown Rockport and Old Garden Beach. We highly recommend this property.
