We booked and stayed over our spring break from Maryland to experience Lake Martin and visit our daughter who is a student at AU! The house and property are exactly as described. The distance to local stores and restaurants were very convenient. Many restaurants by boat and seasonal places are not open yet so that was a bit disappointing but would make another trip in the summer that much more enjoyable! The beds, sheets, towels are very comfortable, communication with the owners was easy and they were available to answer any questions. Beautiful, peaceful and serene. We will definitely be back!

We were at the house very little, but waking up to the beautiful scenery was a fabulous start to the day.

Overall the place was great! The house was as listed, nice and clean, while having all the amenities disclosed. The location offered a great view of the water and was peaceful during the morning as the sun came up. We were however a little dismayed to realize most of the outside amenities (firepit, adirondack chairs, hammock, cornhole, etc), were basically all right next to house #4 and not centrally located. This would not normally be a problem I imagine, but it is all dependent upon who are in the other houses. For us, house #4 was visited by about 10-12 'frat age' men and another 6-8 young 20ish occupants in the house above us. We were young once as well and do not begrudge their activities, just didn't necessarily want our kids near drinking, etc. I should mention they were all cordial and respectful, not loud, etc. They did however unintentionally monopolize most of the common areas throughout the day, making it unusable for our younger kids. With all that said, it would be nice to have had additional cornhole or firepits near the other houses so multiple houses could use. I had almost brought our own cornhole board but saw the one listed and decided not to. In conclusion, a great little house with an awesome but maybe just a small caution in that it, due to the close proximity of the other houses on the premises, and considering that some house up to 14 people, it really all depends on who has rented the other houses.

We had a wonderful time staying at Holiday Cove! The house was well equipped, beautifully updated, and right on the lake in a great location. We met the owners and they were just lovely people! They told us about all of the best places to eat on the lake. :) Our kids enjoyed using the kayaks and swimming off the large covered boat dock. The lakefront area is really cool with a beach area and Adirondack chairs to relax in. We would highly recommend Holiday Cove and can’t wait to return for another stay!

Our stay was peaceful, easy and very relaxing. The house was very clean and the view of the lake was grand. We will be back!

Brad and Marian were so fun, responsive and easy to work with. The house was clean and the yard was like a park. Plenty of trees for shade keeping us cool in the heat of the day. We rented the pontoon boat and they had it parked at the dock on our arrival making it super easy to get out on the water. We will definitely be back.

We have been staying at Lake Martin for years. This is by far the best location and home on the lake. Owner is fabulous!!! Will be staying again next year.

The vacation rental was amazing. My wife and I as well as our 3 kids loved the house. Very clean and spacious. The boat rental was the highlight of the trip. The boat had a tube to pull behind and my 8 and 6 year old loved it. Marian and her husband were great host and were very quick to respond to any questions. Check in and out was simple. I absolutely recommend staying her and hopefully we will be back!

The property was exactly as described. The owners take pride in their property and were on site among all their properties, performing landscaping, etc. (in an unobtrusive way) virtually the whole time we were there! (they even lent us a small hand tool we needed for something!) The beds were also comfortable, which is important! Great place to stay!

The house and property were amazing! Our kids loved the beach and all the beach toys and games! The hosts were super friendly and helpful! Will definitely be renting again!

We really enjoyed our stay, the owner greeted us upon our arrival with a warm welcoming smile and hello. This was great ,especially after a long day of work. Our family gathered on Lake Martin for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful stay. The house and property were nicely maintained and comfortable.

We loved our vacation at Lake Martin! The lake house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is at a great spot on the lake. Our teenagers loved swimming and kayaking right by our house.

This is the second time we rented at Holiday Cove. We stayed in #3 this time and it was exactly as described. Perfect for 6 people and room to spare. Marian greeted us as we arrived to make sure we had all we needed. We will stay hear again!

This property could not have been more perfect for our family vacation! We rented all four houses and they were all fantastic!! Each house is decorated so nice and they were all so clean and well stocked! The beach area was perfect for the kids and we all enjoyed swimming! We cooked out and made s’mores by the fire pit! I do not have one complaint. It was phenomenal!! We will be back!! Marian and Brad are amazing hosts and made our stay so enjoyable!!

This is the perfect little house, especially if you had multiple families. Check in was easy, the dock was perfect, plenty of parking for the boats, jet skis and area to swim. The beach areas is nice, but could use some TLC. Weeds/grass are growing through the sand and beach entry is overgrown, even found a few large pieces of glass. The house was cozy and surface cleaned. I think the cleaning company could do a better job, dust bunnies under cabinets and dead bugs behind the couch, refrigerator could have used a good wipe down. No vacuum or mop in the house to clean up any spills or mess. We also paid a cleaning fee but were required to run the dishwasher, wash white towels and all beach towels had to be washed, dried and folded or you were charged. I felt these things should be included in our cleaning fee. The owners were very responsive for the few request that we had and willing to make any situation right. It’s a great concept for multiple families wanting separation from each other.

This was such an amazing experience! I highly recommend this property.

These owners have created a resort experience at the lake. Several of their buildings share a common area, beach, covered dock with market lights. House was new construction built for regular guests. Even access to boats which are delivered to the dock. Unbelievable. Great hosts, great stay!

This is a great little community to get together for graduation or a family reunion….awesome shared dock, fire pit and beach area. Owner will even rent you their pontoon! Thanks Marian for taking care of us
