Trash and materials all across the property, not left presentable at the end of the work day. I am a retired construction project manager, my projects would never be left not cleaned up. Rental beach furniture left in stacks across the property, some left and not picked up by the rental company for over a month as I was told by other guests. Not acceptable. Yes it's winter but some attention to the landscaping is due. First impressions say a lot. My condo was nice. Sleeper sofa needs to be replaced, very uncomfortable to sit on with out doubling up the cushions. Comfortable chairs need to be added to the porches, existing furniture needs to be removed, impossible to sit comfortably on. Trust criticisms aren't offensive, guests experience of their stay is a huge asset. I'll be back next year.

Great location. Steps were horrible. Very dated. Tubs need replaced due to peeling and makes it look and feel dirty. No lock on kitchen balcony door. Overall loved location but could have been more updated and locks fixed for price point.

The owners were amazing. We had two very minor issues (a toilet handle broke and one of the tubs had a slow drain... Which could happen to anyone at home!!( And they came the same day.. even though it was late and after hours and took care of it quickly. They checked in and made sure we didn't need anything. All of the "extras" were lovely and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the two bathrooms with the master having the sink separate. Easy access to the pool and the beach. 5 stars!!

Very nice place. The tile floors and baseboards need a deep cleaning as does the top of the refrigerator. All in all though, we had a great time and the beach was fantastic. This county does need to start recycling. We were amazed that they aren’t doing so!!

This was our first time in St George Island. Our condo was very clean and maintained. We especially enjoyed the closeness to the beach.

We enjoyed our visit to SGI! I've not been in a few years! The condo location is very convenient and beach front is always wonderful! The condo is within walking distance or a quick bike ride of several places. The beach is steps away. Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from the balcony! We are older and the stairs to access this condo were a challenge plus all of the bedrooms and baths are upstairs. The beds are comfortable, but the main room furniture not so much. All in all, everything is better at the beach!

Easy to find, staff was very helpful. Small problems like stopped up plumbing, remote for DVD player didn’t work, had to request a new blender. But staff was there almost immediately to fix the plumbing and even brought us a brand new blender. View was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again.

Property was very nice. Dishes were dirty and had to be rewarded when we got there. Location was perfect.

Great getaway. Great property right on the beach.

Very clean unit & had everything we needed. As others have mentioned, the stairs got old by the end of the week. Especially since there is not a bathroom in the main floor. Also the unit does not have ceiling fans. We bought a little fan for the bedroom.

We had a nice spring break at the "Island Beach Vibe". The condo is nice and close to the Gulf, which we really appreciated when we were carrying our beach gear down to the beach. The condo is within a 5-10 minute walk to pretty much any restaurant on the island, which we took advantage of. We've never been to SGI until this trip, and it was nice and relaxing and not crowded at all, which was what we were looking for. The parking lot was crowded but we always had a spot fairly close to our rental, and we took advantage of the coupon for the beach gear rentals. This unit had two beach chairs that we would not have rented from the beach gear, had we known it was available. We are a family of 5 and our girls each wanted their own bed, rather than snuggling up on a full sized bed, since they are full grown teenagers. We packed up an air mattress and one of our girls stayed in the living room and deflated her bed every morning. We had some rainy weather and explored the other areas of the island and off the island, but at night when it was tv time, we had a bit of trouble figuring out the multiple remote/cable situation. A memo on how to get to normal tv would be helpful for sure! If you want beach towels, the management has those available if you ask. We just bought some at the gift shop for souvenirs. The king bed is definitely soft, so if you are in need of a firm mattress, you'll definitely want to look elsewhere, as these are not firm in any shape or form. There is an apartment size washer and dryer that is useful, and did the job. We had issues in the master bathroom with the hot water. I'm not sure why that bathroom does not get hot water, but the other bathroom shower seems to have the capability of getting hot water out of the faucets. We cooked only one night and a few breakfasts and made a birthday cake for one of our daughters, and the kitchen seemed adequately stocked with utensils and dishes and cookware. Because this condo was right on the beach, we really enjoyed our stay. Have we stayed in nicer, newer places, yes, but we weren't really there for the condo, we were there for the beach! As far as the pool goes at the condos, there were people laying out, but it does not seem like it is heated. We tested the waters, but our days were too cool for swimming other than jumpinging waves, but it seemed like a nice clean pool. We would come back again for sure!

Good stay. Steps got to us. I will need to look for a ground unit next time.

wonderful location. very clean. beautiful view. unfortunately at our age the two flights of stairs to cart all our supplies and getting to the bathrooms was uncomfortable and a strain on our bodies. Other than that we were blessed to enjoy the condo for the week

Pros: amazing location Jamie was absolutely amazing and very attentive. The condo was very nice and comfortable. There’s a washer/dryer which is always helpful! We loved that there was a community pool. The only real cons is that it’s on 2 separate floors with really hard stairs. If I’d known I would have brought a baby gate.

Loved the location, steps away from the beach & great views! Nice spacious living area and kitchen. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and shopping. The dolphins were a daily delight and even saw stingrays jumping. I'm not giving 5 stars for Cleanliness or Overall Rating because the upstairs carpet needs to go and the master bedroom mattress needs replacing. Also, the coffee maker was a challenge each morning, we never were able to make a pot without a mess on the counter. Not a fan of Keurig! Even with these complaints we would stay again, just hoping for a few updates.

Pluses: This is an excellent beachfront location, within a few blocks of restaurants and grocery stores. The condo is spacious and has terrific views from the two patios. I had several questions for the manager along the way, and did not ever wait long for their thorough and helpful answers. Minuses: The entry door was difficult to lock and unlock, which was a constant frustration. The key lockbox was difficult to open and close as well. Overall cleanliness was acceptable, but the glass-topped table had rings from drinks. One of the bathroom sinks did not drain properly. Side note about the credit for Vakay beach gear-this is not a daily setup/takedown service. Overall it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay there again.

Loved location

We had a couple of issues, but the property management company addresses them quickly. It was decorated nicely...very coastal. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the balcony furniture. Location can’t be beat! We were right on the ocean and could walk to restaurants and shops. There were a few things that were disappointing. First, the bed in the master was not comfortable. Second, the tv in the master was ridiculously small. Third, and probably the worst, was the toilet paper provided. It was like using thin, sandpaper. I had to go buy TP. The last thing is the carpet in the bedrooms. I don’t like carpet but it’s really icky at the beach! I would stay here again.
