Die Unterkunft war schlicht, einfach eingerichtet u. eine schöne Aussicht auf den Garten. Und s‘ Stockalper-Schloss.

Wie bereits geschrieben . Mitbewohner verhielten sich leider Rücksichtslos . Indem sie entweder herumtrampelten oder. Türen unsanft schlossen !! Leider. !!!

Die ruhige Lage mit grossem Garten im Zentrum. Der Aufenthalt im historischen, sehr schön, schlicht ausgestatteten Gebäude. Grosse, einfache Zimmer, unkomplizierte Abwicklung Check-In. Freundlicher Empfang.

You should be prepared to walk up a rather steep hill in order to come to the hotel. For the rest, a nice place to stay.

The garden is exquisite. What a privilege to be able to sit there and contemplate the views, read a book and enjoy the tranquility. Everything was very clean, the ambiance is very special and the breakfast was delicious

Very nice place to stay in Brig. We had family room with 4 beds - in fact it were two rooms - both large and comfortable with one common bathroom. Everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed wery much the garden situated just next to the castle - it is really very peaceful and calm place with specific atmosphere.

It's a nice and quiet place, perfectly clean. My single room had a plenty of storage space and a convenient bathroom, recently renovated. In the middle of July, the room temperature was quite comfortable, even though there was no air conditioner. A spacious terrace offers an impressive view on the castle and the garden.

I wish there had been a bit more variety of fruit and/or vegetables proposed at breakfast.

We have stayed here four times already. We love the simplicity of the rooms, and a shared WC and shower is no problem at all. The garden is lovely, and the location is the best.

Cleanliness, location, breakfast, convenience… just the right place for so many outdoor activities close by. highly recommended.

even rooms with shared bathroom were excellent…never competed with anybody.for access. The whole place is very homey.

The facilities were clean and peaceful, the surroundings were profoundly beautiful, and the breakfast options were scrumptious. I enjoyed how functional the room was, with ample space and plenty of electrical outlets. The luggage storage rooms came in handy for further exploration on check-out day as well!

Twice, the staff prioritized phone calls that lasted 10-15 minutes while processing my check-in/check-out. It wasn't a massive bother, but it felt awkward just waiting for their conversation to finish.

Breakfast was excellent - home-made muesli, home-made preserves and home-made bread as well as a selection of cheeses and cooked meats... The room was great - twice the size of most hotel rooms, with a view over the nearby castle towers and of the mountains (of course)! The location was great - only three minutes' walk from a choice of restaurants and five minutes from the main shopping and eating area of Brig.

There was no TV in the room (there was one in the lounge), but we hardly noticed after a day or so.

Beds are pretty small but comfortable.

To stay inside a former monastery is a very special experience, that sets this hostel apart. There is a sense of serenity that I much appreciated. It’s location in the heart of the historical Brig also makes a stay a pleasant experience.

I’ve found the mattress of my single bed room to be too hard, and I woke up with slight back pain. Also the pillow is rather flat.
