Unit was clean and very well equipped. Amazing location on beach and central to all activities. Beach chairs, umbrella, body boards, coolers, beach towels, all provided!

Gary was super helpful and informative right from the beginning! My mother in law and I as well as my 4 month old son booked a trip last minute while my husband was overseas. They accomadated us so kindly! When we arrived, the condo was very clean and you are immediately welcomed by the sound of the amazing waves just right outside the screen door. I loved all the aloha decor and special touches which made it feel so much like home! Everything was well stocked. We enjoyed sunsets on the lanai, beach walks, and meeting the other sweet guests staying at the sugar resort. My son took the best naps here listening to the waves! He loved this condo as much as we did! Thanks again Gary and Kara! This trip was much needed for us! This condo is the best for exploring the island great location with the best sushi options close by :)

The unit was beautifully appointed and quality throughout. although the check in procedure was a bit confusing it all worked out. the state of Hawaii’s rules were followed but the way to find out the good to go checkmark was not easy for older people to get through.

The condo was easy to find and access. The owner was proactive about getting in touch with us. Beautiful spot, close to snorkeling beaches.

We loved staying at the condo. The location was perfect and we enjoyed being able to walk right out the lanai doors to the beach/ocean right in front of us for swimming, snorkeling, or just a quiet walk together. The condo was well stocked with everything we'd need for our much-needed holiday. Gary is a wonderful host and I can't say enough good things about how it was working with him to arrange our stay. We'll definitely be back :)

Had everything we needed including view of the ocean and the sound of the crashing wave. Being on the 1st floor, 20steps to the beach and 40steps to the pool is AWESOME! The owner and mgmt team is excellent to. We will definitely come back to this place when we come back to Maui.

The week of beautiful hawaiian food and beaches was our best vacation ever. Highly recommend this property the location was perfect. Planning to return in September! Mahalo for a trip of a lifetime.

My wife and I travel quite a bit and have had both wonderful and terrible experiences, but I feel confident saying that our stay at Sugar Beach was one of the best! The condo was amazing and just steps away from the beach. It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly imagine needing and then some. At one point we went to the store to pick up some packaging tape, only to come back and open a drawer to find there was already some waiting for us! We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the lanai every day, and were so happy that we decided to stay in this section of Kihei and avoid some of the more crowded resort areas. It often felt like we had our own private beach to ourselves (with the exception of the friendly sea turtle who would hang out right off the shore). We definitely recommend this place!

The view is amazing- and the location is spectacular if you are wanting to get out and explore. Seriously- 30 steps to the beach! It's on the edge of Kihei so you can get to the busy areas if you want, but the condo is away from the hustle. And if you are wanting to drive to Hana, Haleakala or Lahaina, the highway is right there and it takes no time to get out of town. We went in early March and we saw hundreds of whales jumping and playing the water just from the patio. And, the owners provide tons of extras- like a cooler, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella- and the condo is well furnished for cooking. Overall this was a fantastic place to stay. We'd stay here again for certain!

This condo is just like the pictures. Beautiful views, comfy furniture, cute little extras everywhere.

The view of the ocean was wonderful. We saw whales each day. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated. The property was well supplied (kitchen, outdoor chairs, towels, etc.). It can get a bit windy, but it wasn't a problem for us. If you are looking for a traditional resort environment this may not be the place for you. We would definitely recommend this property. We had an amazing time.

This condo was perfect for us. Just the 2 of us for a week and we loved it. The condo is small but just the right size for us. It is modern, all the amenities we needed, and the Maui decor made us feel right at home. The location on Sugar Beach was perfect for calm morning ocean swimming, within 20 minutes of any type of beach or restaurant you desire, and a quiet peaceful property. Mostly adults so it suited us well.

We were so so so lucky to snag this room in Kihei! The location is excellent! It was really close to everything; shops, restaurants, beach, the main drag a couple of streetlights away. It is just in the perfect location! The locals live there for a reason! The view was excellent for sunrises and sunsets, you're on the first floor and it is just 12 steps away from the ocean from the back door! Who could ask for anything more? Even the Ritz doesn't have that beat! The sunrises were so beautiful, we got up every morning on vacation to see them, that is how nice they were. And the ocean! OMG! The Ocean! We searched all over the island for a good swimmable beach but we couldn't find a better beach then Sugar Beach! It is quiet, warm and swimmable and perfect for snorkeling. And the view from the ocean is excellent! There are mountains looming in the distance and it is so romantic! The cleanliness of the room was superb! It looked, smelled and felt really nice. And it had all the amenities you'd ever need! It has beach chairs, beach towels, body board, iron, washing/dryer machine, 2 televisions, cooking utensils. Sugar? Coffee? Water? Eggs? YES!!! You need it, it's already been thought of and ready for you! Over there at the Westin beach chairs cost $25 per day!!!! So the amenities were really nice to have. The bathroom had a really cool glass wall, you could hear stuff through there, but overall it was no problem. Just have your partner step outside on the patio for a few minutes and everything would be fine. The parking lot is just outside and you don't have to walk far to your room from it which was really nice. And there are flowers everywhere outside! It was just perfect. Watch the Youtube video, it really helps. We were so lucky that this place was available for our stay in Maui. This was just an excellent place and I would highly recommended it. I'm coming back as soon as I can.

Condo #120 is perfect in all respects. Beautiful, well-appointed, and very comfortable amenities enhance the biggest asset for us: easy access to the beach. The owners were very responsive to everything we needed to know.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Moore's condo on Sugar Beach! It was the perfect set up for a family with a baby! The sliding glass doors on the first level opened up to a patch of gorgeous grass and then the crashing waves of the aquamarine Pacific ocean. Magic! The condo was stocked with all of the right kitchen tools and equipment. Great layout. Comfortable pull out sofa for a good night's sleep. Communications with the host and the management company was seamless. We had everything that we needed at our fingertips. Would HIGHLY recommend to any young families who are travelling with a baby. While the baby naps, you can catch the rays and have a quick dip in the ocean!
