Amazing stay at the Honua Kai in Maui. We are frequent visitors of Maui but typically stay at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua. This time, we decided to try a condo property because we had family meeting us in Maui. This property did not disappoint. From the moment I booked the condo, the owners were magnificent. Their attention to detail, the description and pictures of the property were exactly as described on VRBO and the property was extra clean. The owners were on top of every detail and the condo had everything and more we needed for our stay. I have stayed at many VRBO properties in the past, but have never experienced this type of five-star customer service from other properties and owners. As an example, my husband left his wedding ring on the counter and we didn't realize it until we were at the airport. Maureen and Rob were right on top of it. They called their cleaning team, the ring was recovered and they spent hours ensuring the ring arrived safely to our home. If you are looking for a great condo on this side of the island, book it! You will enjoy the beautiful property, the beach, the pool, the restaurant and the view from your room. Highly recommend!

I could not have asked for a better place to stay in Maui, even tho we were there during the wild fires the resort handled everything with ease and helps us stay calm. The owners of this vrbo go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and are extremely kind!!

We stayed at this condo last month for our anniversary vacation. It was exactly as advertised. This condo is beautiful, clean and well-appointed. It was perfect for a couple. We had plenty of room for our belongings. We loved spending lazy mornings having coffee on the Lanai. The view from there is beautiful. We loved the resort and all the amenities. Maureen was so great at communicating with us before and during the trip. She checked in with us after we checked in to see if we needed anything. She has a great album in the condo with information about restaurants, tours and activities on the island. I highly recommend renting this unit. You won’t be disappointed. The only bad part was leaving after 10 days!

I have never experienced the level of customer service as I did with Maureen. She takes such pride in her unit. Once I got there, I understood why. The unit is absolutely gorgeous! High end everything. Maureen called me just after booking and wanted to get to know me. She messaged me the day we arrived and she felt more like a friend. This is the only unit I will rent next time I come to Maui. Thank you Maureen for making this trip so special with my mom. I will recommend your unit to all my friends! Mahalo!!!!!

We loved our stay in this beautiful condo. Very clean well taken care of studio. We loved that there were beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers for us to use instead of having to buy or rent them. Maureen made sure we had everything we needed. She even had a gift basket waiting for us upon our arrival. We love the resort amenities and location as well. Will definitely be back to stay in this unit again. Thank you for making our 30th wedding anniversary perfect.

Absolutely a beautiful and amazing property!! The resort is beautifully landscaped and amazing views. The condo is very clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped. The condo is also equipped with extras you might need during your stay. Owners are super nice and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!!

Room was just what my girlfriend and I needed. Not to big not to small just right.very beautiful room. Love the cozy Lani. Very private and cozy, it's like a perfect little condo for 2. Pools are amazing. The beach, is where is at. (If you go you gotta watch the sunsets). Rooms are close to the beach, you have many pools to access. Dukes restaurant (fantastic) food staff and service. Property owners are very kind and understanding. I would love to get thos same room next year. And year after.

My parents spent 3 weeks in Maureen and Robert’s unit and had a wonderful time. The owners were so easy to communicate with and made sure all of our questions were answered. The unit had everything that my mom and dad needed and the resort was beautiful. My parents especially loved the big balcony and spent everyday looking out at the ocean. Thanks for such an amazing trip.

What a wonderful place! The whole resort was so nice. The view was gorgeous and when in the room we spent most of our time out on the lanai. The black binder had so much information and ideas for things to do and places to eat. We referred to it often. Definitely will stay here again on a return trip!

Perfect place for our first time on Maui. Our condo had everything we needed, from beach chairs to laundry soap. This host thought of everything and we ran out of nothing on our 5 night stay. Very clean and centrally located. Great communication with our host, Maureen. Mahalo!!

This beautiful studio unit was sparkling clean and had everything you need for a great stay. So nice to have great coffee for the next morning! The location is really convenient. All of the amenities of the complex are well maintained and wonderful. We had a great trip and would recommend this unit to anyone. It was perfect for 2 adults with nice sunset views every evening.

This property has everything you need. Resort location with tons of benefits, this studio serves as a hub for your island activities. Pools, store, restaurants all on site. Plus tons of great food options within a 5-10 minute drive. We used it as a place to rest after island adventures. Being our first time here we wanted to see it all. It was fabulous to “come home” to an oasis! Studio is perfect for two, Clean, modern and everything in perfect operating condition. Plus, chairs, towels, bags, coolers, everything you may need but don’t bring on a vacation. Only thing I would mention is you are not oceanfront, you can not hear the waves, so if that’s what you are looking for this may not be for you, however you can see the ocean through a court yard and past the pool. The owners are kind and helpful! We had a wonderful experience!!! Worth it!!!

We enjoyed our stay! It's a wonderful place for honeymoon, family vacations, ect. ocean front view, pools, hot tub, restaurant in resort, food truck walking distance, and much more. Everyone is so nice! Staff are wonderful even when they are really busy. We would absolutely love to come back.

Clean, great location, great shops

Was a very nice place access to the beach was simple. Great location for sightseeing. Take the catamaran, sunset, cruise. You’ll love it!

What a wonderful host and property. When we walked in I was giddy with how lovely the unit and the view were. We hardly left the resort it was so nice. When we did leave we really appreciated all the tips for outings in the binder provided. Will definitely return.

1st: this is the cleanest place I have ever stayed! Truly felt like I could relax in a clean/ cozy environment. 2nd: the suite & property is awesome & has great views! My only negative is the lack of parking (not the owners fault though, which is why I won’t have that play a factor into the rating). With all of that being said, I would 100% stay here again!

Great stay nice pools

This is the second time we have stayed in this gorgeous condo. We love it’s proximity to beautiful beaches, stunning walking trails and, of course, Duke’s. Robert and Maureen are the perfect hosts! We are looking forward to staying again!

Overall the entire property is very good. The addition of being able to have access to the well equipped full kitchen was a bonus! Maureen and Robert provided very nice beach chairs as well as boogie boards, a small cooler, and a cooler bag. Much to my surprise there were ice packs or blue ice in the freezer ready to use. This was an added bonus as we haven't had that provided before. They also had a wonderful welcome basket of coffee, local chocolate, and other items that we used! The welcome book provided was more extensive than any other I have seen, including the milkshakes at the Burger Shack at Fleming Beach - a must if you visit! Overall, you cannot go wrong staying here! We would definitely stay here again should we visit Maui in the future! Highly recommend!

Maureen does a great job of communicating and making sure your stay at their place is a good one. She is also a wealth of info on restaurants and experiences in Maui. The unit is well - equipped.

315 Konea Tower lived up to all the promises and even surpassed our expectations during our stay in June 2022! Maureen and Robert have done a great job of keeping the condo updated and stocked with everything you need- from kitchen supplies, beach gear (chairs, umbrella & snorkel gear), and even a smaller cooler & ice pack. The view from the condo was great- my wife and I enjoyed our early mornings and late evenings on the lanai! Even though this is a studio it was perfect for our needs and never felt cramped during our 10-day stay. We enjoyed the various pools, gas grills, beach access, Duke's restaurant & more offered by this amazing resort. We typically try to go to new places when we get the opportunity to travel; and after 25 years of marriage there are only a couple places that make our list of places we'd definitely return to- and this one has been added to that list! If you've already decided this is the resort you want but are still debating between which unit to select- book with Maureen and Robert! The personal touch they offer is amazing- from tips ranging from where to get groceries, the best farmer's market, restaurant reservations and places to explore. Everything in the condo is neatly labeled and the communication with Maureen was great starting after our initial booking all the way through to our last day. We couldn't have asked for anything better! Mahalo!

Well built place meant that you don't hear neighbors coming and going at all hours, and the morning sits on the lanai are perfect with the coffee they included for us. Some of the other guests you might run into at the resort may act entitled and snobby, but just ignore them and go spend more time with the locals who spread the aloha. Honua Kai was a delightful place to spend our 50th wedding anniversary!! The owners kept us informed throughout the process on what to expect at the resort and amenities in the room. They also provided dining suggestions, so we could make reservations prior to our arrival. It was so helpful! The condo unit was just what we needed. It was well furnished and stylishly decorated. We loved having the washer and dryer in our unit with cleaning pods provided! Our owners even extended our checkout a few hours, allowing us to enjoy our last day a few more hours!
