Spent a long weekend on a girls trip and loved our stay at Tim, Dave and Cinder’s place. The accommodations were spacious, very clean and the hosts have done an excellent job of equipping the space with thoughtful and practical details to maximize our stay. Tim and Dave were very welcoming and responsive, would definitely recommend this place and I look forward to returning!

I cannot say enough about the beautiful location and comfortable and clean accommodations. Dave and Tim are amazing hosts who care very much about making their guests happy and at home. The property and waterfront are incredible, secluded and the house is not too far away from local restaurants and attractions. My teens and I have already talked about when we will be back!

I took my children here for a vacation. They have never been to Tobermory. It was absolutely wonderful. The cottage and landscape was beautiful. Our hosts were exceptional. Overall it was a great experience. We would definitely go back.

Tim and Dave are wonderful hosts, very attentive and helpful. They have everything well organized from water shoes handy to go kayaking to outdoor furniture cushions and fireplace set up etc.
The property is stunning and quiet, you can see the sun rise and the sun set. The harbour and restaurants in Tobermory are just minutes away.
We had a great time there!

From the minute we've arrived we loved absolutely everything; location was ideal, our accomodations were very comfortable, our hosts were welcoming and provided us with everything we needed. This is an ideal location for nature lovers. We will be very happy to go back there in the future and we strongly recommend this to other travelers.

The stay at north paw was fantastic and the view we're breathtaking, the host dave & tim greeted us as we arrived vere friendly showed and where things where and was always willing to help if we needed it. Would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at Dave and Tim's place. They are very attentive and welcoming hosts. The apartment was clean, confortable and has amazing views. The property has a lot of outdoor spaces to offer for enjoying nature and relaxing in a peaceful environment.
I would highly recommend this beautiful place.

Dave and Tim were so kind to my family! We felt like we were visiting long time friends. There is a wonderful energy and love that they shared with us for their home and property. My kids loved learning about the land and playing on the “paw”. The amenities were cozy, clean, and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!!
Oh, and if you love fluffy clean white towels and crisp sheets, this is your place!!
The compost bowl was also a hit for my kids, they loved being able to add to the beautiful garden!

Beautiful lakeshore property cared for with love by Dave and Tim. Bring your own tea or coffee and enjoy this exceptional retreat. Clean, spacious and beautifully decorated inside and outside. Hosts are very nice and attentive to our needs.

Lovely place. The hosts were excellent. Accommodations one of the best we have ever had. Kayaking was a main goal and with four to pick from… kayaking heaven. Nice small downtown with restaurant choices plus a grocery store not too far away PLUS a garden to pick tomatoes from!! We had a true vacation.

Just got back from yet another amazing stay with Dave, Tim and Cinder at North Paw! Morning coffee in our PJs standing on the alvar overlooking the bay with sunshine on our faces, fantastic kayak trips in the clearest of waters checking out the nearby shipwreck of the Avalon Voyager II, great hikes, abundant wildlife and camp fires to finish off the day. We just LOVE the simplicity and peace and quiet here. It's the perfect place to truly disconnect and recharge our batteries. Bliss.

Dave and Tim are perfect hosts. You get both sunrise and sunset, stars on clear nights, kayaks, a big bay, islands to explore: a total escape from the frenetic pace of city life. Nature and water at the doorstep.

We had a wonderful stay at North Paw! The property and views are gorgeous; house and grounds are immaculate. Kayaks are an added bonus and there was even a bonfire set up and ready for lighting. Dave and Tim are perfect hosts -- welcoming and helpful while allowing privacy and space for exploring. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to relax in the sun by the water, kayak, read and watch incredible sunsets. They even shared the bounty of their garden and friends fresh eggs with us. Thanks so much, we will be back👍

My wife and I stayed for 7 night in early July 2023. Dave and Tim are wonderful hosts and very kind and thoughtful people and fun to be around. The property is like a nature sanctuary. The garden and landscape additions they have made take advantage of the existing natural beauty and make the whole property feel like a well kept arboretum. Magnificent sun sets and sunrises, peace, tranquility, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and a 180+ degree view just outside the door. We also Scuba dove several of the outstanding ship wreaks in the Fathom Five Marine Park and enjoyed hiking and biking. Terrific, and highly recommended!

Our stay at North Paw was a positive and relaxing experience. The setting of the property is scenic and beautiful; and the location is close to Tobermory for accessing the harbour tours, shops, hiking trails, and Visitor Centre.
Our hosts Dave and Tim went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home; and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay - including setting us up for kayaking!

Everything about our stay was great! From the beautiful location, to Dave and Tim's hospitality, to the care that they put into this cottage, came together to make for a phenomenal vacation. Their property is also well taken care of, with trails to walk around it, and chairs to lounge on. It is clear that Dave and Tim put a lot of work into making this property a lovely place to stay!

Beautiful property with very kind, helpful hosts. We had a wonderful long weekend exploring the peninsula using this as our home base. The heated floors were a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the futons in the living room were easy to use and above average in terms of comfort. The kitchen supplies were basic but worked to make some simple meals. We appreciated how prepared they were for guests with lots of towels, extra sunscreen, water shoes for kayaking/swimming and local recommendations. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it

This is an incredible property with amazing hosts. The views are spectacular in all directions, amenities outstanding. Took advantage of the kayaks, campfires (made every night by Dave) and the complete tranquility of North Paw. The apartment has everything you need and was very comfortable for a fall getaway. Appreciated the visits with the owner Dave and his friendly dog Cinder. Would highly recommend this property and these hosts. Our stay was perfect. So grateful that Dave and Tim are willing to share their amazing property and home with us.

The place was great and our hosts were fantastic. They made us feel very welcome and at home. They even offered their garden bounty with us. Told us to help ourselves to garden fresh peppers, herbs and tomatoes. The property was closely located to downtown Tobermory and all the boat cruises and park trails. A great location and a really nice property with terrific hosts!

Hosts were great. Even set up a nightly fire for us! Also respectful of our preference not to be around their pooch. Hosts even shared their garden tomatoes. Great communication. Fab location with amazing views, when outside. But inside you can only see it from the bathroom. Kind of a shame in the fall with cooler Temps. Living room should be where bathroom is in my opinion. Water had a funny smell. Only a few bottled water provided. Would prefer not to have to use bottled water to be more green but tap water not doable.

Situated on a peninsula this property offers a breathtaking vista. The home is situated on weathered limestone which serves as an ideal patio for lounging and stepping into the inviting water. Kayaks are available as well to use after enjoying the scenic hikes at the nearby national park. The accommodation is spotless and spacious. Our hosts are most accommodating.

My wife and I have stayed at North Paw three times, and it never disappoints. Property is in an idyllic setting., with beautiful sunsets. A short drive into Tobermory. Dave and Tim are excellent hosts; very accommodating. They have a good knowledge of the area. Unit is always spotlessly clean.

The property is so beautiful , stunning , private and excluded but also close to tobermory main attractions. The hosts are lovely, such a wonderful experience.

Dawn and sunset over water, clear view of stars at night. Clean and bright spacious accommodations. Kayaks and trails provide opportunities for observation of nature and exercise. We loved the escape from city life. Tim and Dave are considerate hosts. And Cinder is a very well behaved friendly dog.
