Beautiful gardens. Very relaxing atmosphere with lots of different spots to relax. Good quality beds. Something for all ages. Wish there was an internal fireplace

Loved the beautiful grounds. House felt clean, warm and welcoming and had lots of lovely touches. We loved our stay at Magnolia cottage and we were made to feel our pup was very welcome there too. Very relaxing stay and would definitely visit again. We did run into some problems with one of our cars however not being able to get up the driveway- the 4WD had no trouble however our Mazda sedan couldn’t climb the steep, loose gravel driveway and if it weren’t for the fantastic, lovely neighbours up the road coming to our rescue and allowing us to use their yard and driveway we could have been facing an expensive tow. All in all though, a wonderful weekend break away.

Wonderful location and the house has all that you could wish for for a weekend at Cooroy The grounds are very nice and the view is fantastic Heaps of birdlife and other creatures were seen and or heard We would love to come back again

We had a lovely stay at the cottage but was a little disappointed with the close proximity of additional accommodation and guests. The shared access road needs a lot of upgrading as I had great difficulty getting my car back up to the main road.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great views and outdoor table area and perfect for families. Had everything you needed and styled really nicely. Gorgeous bedrooms and very large rooms. Would definitely recommend.

Rented property for a weekend away. Had a great time. Lots crockery and salad bowls etc for earring together at home. Very restful place.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 3 night stay despite the weather being pretty wet. Amazing views from the house, across the pond and out to the mountain beyond.

Spacious cottage with spacious rooms! Everything was clean and overall cottage had a nice homely feel to it. Had many inclusions (air con, fans etc) and the butlers pantry and kitchen was well equipped. Loved the high ceiling beams and open plan downstairs. Would definitely revisit!

Such a lovely property that is made even better by the fully fenced yard so we could enjoy our few days off with the dogs. Beautiful house and lovely managers. Only tricky bit is that the shared driveway has suffered damage from the recent rains and is a bit difficult to navigate in a small front wheel drive car. Otherwise a lovely relaxing stay.

This property was amazing, heaps of room, clean and tidy, fantastic gardens, Close to shops, Drive straight off M1. Great experience. Recommend.

Great surroundings, clean and beautiful rustic property

This home is conveniently located near everything you may require yet far enough away to be secluded. The layout of the rooms is spacious with good wardrobe space to unpack. The house is stocked with all the essentials for your Stay, eg, kitchenware, rubbish bags, all the sprays and cleaning products that you often forget ! Clearly marked out areas for pets and childrens safety so all can relax. Beautiful home to relax in ! Reluctantly would recommend at the risk of it being able to book in again !!!

We all wished we could stay longer. Much, much longer. The cottage was clean and felt very warm and inviting. Bedrooms were cosy and comfortable with large beds. The kitchen was big with plenty of space to move, including a well stocked butler's pantry. We loved the tranquility of the garden and the peaceful setting - absolutely beautiful. We spent a lot of time just sitting in the garden, listening to the birds. We also had a lovely picnic by the pond. A supermarket and various restaurant and take away options are available a short drive away. On the first night we had dinner at the local Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious. Overall we were very happy with our stay. So much so, we decided to stay an extra night. We'd love to come back again soon and would highly recommend Magnolia Cottage for a family getaway. 10/10! Four humans and two dogs had a wonderful 5 night stay. A quick getaway out of Brisbane. The house was perfect: Clean, easy, warm and had everything we needed. The fire pit was used 4 nights out of the five, so enjoyable! Easy to get to town and further afield. Lots to do around the area. Would definitely recommend this property.

Nicci and Noel have got to be the best hosts for any property we’ve stayed at by a long shot. From the beginning of the booking process they were so quick to respond and we’re so helpful telling us all the best places to visit for our trip. The property, wow! What a dream! We took two dogs with us and they loved it just as much as us! We are all so sad to leave but we will most definitely be back. Thank you both so much for sharing this paradise with us!

Host was very quick to respond to any questions. Great set out , plenty of room for our large family and beds very comfortable.

This is the perfect property to have a relaxing couple of days. Perfect for a group. Noel and Nicci were excellent hosts with communication being excellent. The pantry was well stocked and just the little things like mosquito coils, tissues etc being on hand. The setting is something out of a picture book with lake, bridge and magnificent gardens. Bedrooms are huge, very comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms. A repeat visit will certainly be on the cards for us. Loved every minute of our stay.

Upon arriving at "Magnolia Cottage" our first impressions were "WOW" what a totally amazing and finely manicured place. The gardens, landscape and views are absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous, the words to describe it is picturesque and serene. Literally a piece of paradise on Earth. The yard and decking areas are very well fenced and our little Jack Russell Oscar was totally safe and enclosed and not able to get out of the fenced area which was awesome! So Well done! Nicci the Owner was great at all times and communicated very well, she made us feel at home and was extremely helpful. A few points that would make Magnolia Cottage absolutely perfect are, it would be nice to have some tissues and air freshner in the cottage. I could not find any, but everything else was well stocked. A clothes line near the washing machine and dryer would be great to enable guests to hang out towels and washing to air dry. The house is very well appointed and lovely but the kitchen is on the older side and the inside of the cupboards and drawers need a really good clean with disinfectant. I found them quite dirty. The kitchen sinks were I am sorry Nicci but a total turn off and almost spoilt my stay, the stains and age of the sinks was not very nice, nor was the downstairs bathroom basin, the kitchen sinks really need to be replaced or bleached or re-enameled and the bathroom sink, the surrounding timber is bordering on mouldy. The oven needs a thorough clean also, it wasn't very clean. Thank you for a comfortable stay, the bedrooms were lovely and the heating was comforting. We hope to come back again one day when the kitchen has had it's improvements.

Very comfortable. The house was quite cold on arrival and we needed to put on the heaters to warm it up. We think it may not be warm enough in winter. Also the downstairs bathroom vanity is in poor condition as well as the kitchen sinks and surrounding timber top. Otherwise all was good and we enjoyed our stay with our fur babies who loved all the exploring opportunities. Thank you

We had a wonderful time at Magnolia Cottage. It was more than just a cottage, it was a beautiful home. The owners supplied so much more in relation to basics that you would usually find in your average holiday apartment. We didn't want for any supplies and found that much of what we had taken ourselves was not required. Can't say enough about the wonderful time we had and this was simply due to what was included and the beautiful cottage itself. Perfect for any holiday. The yard was large and much appreciated by our very active border collie. Thanks again for a wonderful break away and we will be back. John, Wen and Brenda

Beautiful home in the country. The whole family enjoyed themselves immensely including the dog! Close too Cooroy town centre which has everything you could need during your stay. The owner Nicci was very helpful. Highly recommend!!
