This beach house was amazing! We were steps from the beach, and the new pool they added was wonderful! To be honest, we had booked the house (both top and bottom floor units) so two families could come together. One of our group had a special needs child, and the pool has a new shallow water deck that young children, elderly, and disabled, can sit and/or play in! It made the trip for this family, and we loved being so close to the beach while still having a pool! I would highly recommend this house for young children, as there was even a little kitchen table with chairs for them, along with other items available, like a play yard, that a family could use. that would make this special for them. The only thing I would recommend is that someone go through the kitchen items in the units occasionally as the top unit had fewer glasses and such than the bottom, which tells us some may have migrated before our stay...;) It could also use a couple extra blankets, as some of our group were a bit cold at night, and the light, summer linens weren't enough for them..;)

One of the most relaxing family vacations we've had in a long time. This place offers everything! Beautiful inside and out. The back porch is where we spent most of our time. One of our 16yr old sons actually slept out there. Views are amazing. The wind coming off the ocean is perfect. We only showered and slept inside. The porch, pool and beach was where we spent our time. We took advantage of the free attraction tickets that was updated daily. It's within walking distance to so many places. It's off the rd so you don't get any traffic noise. Plenty of beach chairs and beach towels were available. We loved it so much, we are already planning our family vacation for next year. IF, I had to name one thing to change it would be to add a long mirror on the back of a closet or bathroom door so us ladies can see our whole outfit before heading out to dinner or pictures. Maybe a potholder or 2 to take things out of the oven. Again, this is just my opinion. The place is perfect just the way it is. ❤

Barefoot 1 is a spectacular place! We love coming here and enjoying all that it has to offer. The pool has been a great addition! I can’t wait to come back next year!

A great place for family to gather and enjoy each other’s company. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay. The balcony porch overlooking the Atlantic is amazing! So beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay in this home and had a great time in historic St. Augustine.

Great place right on the beach. Communication with property manager was excellent. Once the pool is completed it will be even better!! Would stay again.

We had a great time, nice location and alot of fun on the beach. The house was very nice for our party of 9.

Well appointed home on the ocean. Huge deck and a private boardwalk to an expansive beach. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and a TV in each room.
