Friendly staff scores 10/10, nice location to waterfront and shopping area

Consider about the price, I am okay with it although the facilities score 5/10 ( water leaks the room when rainy)

Worth for the strategic location, but cleanliness suggested have to be improved. Low pressure of water and do not provide show gel and shampoo which is a bit disappointed. Bathroom also dirty and seem no housekeeping doing daily. Bathroom window also can not close, feel unsecured too.

Location just great which easy access to spot attraction location.

La struttura era veramente molto sporca, in camera pieno di ragnatele, i bagni in comune veramente indecenti e non perché erano in comune e quindi li usavano molte persone, era luridi perché non venivano puliti ne fatta manutenzione da molto tempo.

The lobby, location, vibe

The sound of wooden floor. but it is what it is with old building. some people sensitive to noise will find it noisy to sleep with.

Well located inside Carpenter street. Near all the famous landmarks. Room are wide and bed are comfortable.

The facilities aren’t well maintained.

Location is right smack in the middle of town, and on the hippest street, a stone's throw away from the main riverside promenade. Lots of food stalls dotted everywhere so finding food will be the least of your worries. The beds come with the basic amenities, and a locker for you to lock your stuff up. The view from the rooftop balcony is absolutely stunning.

Yes, you can hear every single step when somebody walks at the corridor or even on the other floors. And my bed creaked every single time i moved. While not horrible, I think it needs some form of repair? There was only 1 bathroom on my floor (the other one is permanently locked) and 2 toilets. I hadn't needed to queue to take a shower, but i guess a minimum of 2 is expected on a floor with 5-6 rooms? Oh, and not forgetting the swarm of mosquitoes, which seem to multiply very quickly no matter how many you managed to squash dead.

I booked the room with a queen bed. Just pay RM66 but the view is worth a thousand ringgit. I don’t lie and this is my 2nd time here and I will stay here again if I go to Kuching.

The location is near to many attractions Kuching town has to offer.

Good location, clean room

The place is quite old, especially the washrooms could do with some maintenance. A door on the second floor was even partly damaged. There is also no common area to sit around or meet the other guests.

The Location was perfect, very close to the waterfront. I especially loved the rooftop of the hostel, which offered a nice view of Kuching. The bed was comfortable, towels were provided and Wifi was good. Also the staff was friendly. All in all very good value for the money - would stay again :)

It would be nice if the beds had curtains for a little bit more privacy and comfort. Also it would be nice if there was a number we could call outside of the reception hours in case of emergencies (i forgot my key card in my room once and couldn't reach anyone to open the door for me, that was around 1am in the morning, gladly i had a friend i could stay with for the night)

Very affordable. Very comfortable to stay for 2 nights. Easy to move around as it is located at the main street. The bed was very very comfortable and large.

The floor made a lot of noisy whenever people walking around. The toilet wasn't bad but not hurting with some cleaning.

this hostel was very dirty. the staff were not helpful when we asked about local amenities and seemed very much like we were an inconvenience.

No toilet paper in the toilets at 1st floor. Also, one toilet has a tube problem, making the corridor floor in front of the toilet completely flooded

location, location, location walking distance to mall, museums, mosques, temples, food stalls ( galore of all ethnic groups), riverfront… For the price I pay, best deal ever!

there are always as*hole guests who sneak around smoking in rooms or toilets even if there are “ no smoking” sign” everywhere. For this price, I am satisfied with everything and have no complaints. if I expect 5-star quality, then I should pay extra extra $$ for a 5-star hotel.

The hostel is located very central, the ac is working perfectly and the balcony is nice.

The personal can not help you in any issues, the beds are not comfortable.
