This was an amazing house! Everything was just as described. We have stayed in so many Surfside houses over the years and this was our favorite! We will definitely come back. Location was great, bedroom set up was perfect & the bunks in each room are set up great for big groups. The owner was super responsive and we couldn’t think of a single complaint!

Wow! What a great house in a perfect location!

We loved sitting on the porch and walking the beach. The house was well layed out for a large group. The only downside was the mosquitos which were horrible. We are used to mosquitos and they were the worst experience we have ever had with them.

This was a great house. It had everything thing we needed and more. Relaxing, comfortable, perfect location on the beach. Great host to work with. We have been going to Surfside for over 20 years and this was our favorite place that we have stayed .

We couldn't have asked for anything better. Perfect location, perfect home and very short walk to the beach. The owner answered any questions within minutes. Book this properly, you won't be disappointed.

We took our 4 children ranging from 0 - 10 and enjoyed Tranquility Base as our base for a 4 day stint to round out summer. The property is ideally located close to amenities but away from the main drag / congestion. The beach is 10 seconds away and the views from the property are great. The bunk beds were popular with our kids and the toys/games supplied came in very handy. Communication was great and this represents great value versus other properties we’ve seen in the area.

The property is in the perfect location. Not too close to the main beach access right at the end of the bridge. That area gets very congested and crowded. This house is further down. The beach is quieter and cleaner. The house was adorable & perfectly set up. My husband and I and my three teenage boys had the rooms at the end that shared a bathroom and my brother and his wife and my sister and her husband had their own bedrooms with their own bathrooms. It worked out perfectly. The kitchen was a great size. It was well stocked with pantry staples, and all the cookware, appliances, dishes, cutlery you could need. No need to drag that stuff with you on this vacation. The beds were all very comfortable. There’s plenty of comfortable seating in the living room to gather and watch movies. The dining table was large, and they had extra seating at the island. There were tons of boardgames. But mainly, we spent our time down at the beach, which is easily accessible from the crossover right next to the house. Or we spent our time on the deck watching the waves and the beach goers. The deck is nicely furnished with big wooden deck chairs and table tops to set your stuff on. The area under the house was perfect for grilling and staying out of the sun. We lucked out and had super clear water for the entire trip. There were only 2 downfalls; 1 is there was a lot of tar washing in and it was messy. 2 the water filtration was down on the island and the water smelled putrid. We’ll be back!

I have rented this property 4 times and it’s the perfect layout for our family. Three king bedrooms is always a plus for our tall family members, the front deck is a few feet closer to the beach so you can get a full view up and down the beach without neighboring decks in the way, we love having hot & cold water for the kids in the outdoor shower below, the tall ceilings feel spacious, and the rooms are all separated by a bathroom or closet so you can’t really hear the other families in the other rooms. Great property with its own ramp over the dune to the beach! We will be back next year.

Tranquility Base is right on Surfside beach, great location. The house has a great floor plan, decor, and is very well stocked with items to cook, clean, and entertain with. We highly recommend Tranquility Base as a vacation destination. We are already planning our next trip to Tranquility Base.

Our family of 13 thoroughly enjoyed this home. 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Roomy kitchen and common areas. We had everything we needed to enjoy the beach and create some great family memories! Would definitely stay here again!

We love Tranquility Base. It's a wonderful home with all the amenities you could need. The location is ideal especially if you have lots of things to cart to the beach. Highly recommend.

Our family of 10 had a great time at this house. Since it’s right on the beach it was so easy to go back and forth. They had plenty of beach gear for us to use. From teens to toddler—all of the kids had something. We took a vote and decided to come back again!

Had another great time staying here. The house and location is A+. Thank you again.

This was a great place to stay. For the past 7 years my cousins, sisters and Aunts have had a yearly trip in October to some place is the US. This year was Surfside. We loved the house and location. Everything was spotless and if we had a problem there was quick communication with the owner.

Fun

This rental came with everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. The owners thought through every random thing you’ll forget and made sure to have it on site so you aren’t making 13 trips to the store! The beds were extremely comfortable and in excellent condition. The beach access bridge is just feet away and we enjoyed being able to watch the ocean from the patio. I can’t rave enough about this home!!

This home was thoughtfully planned and provided for. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. The porch provided relaxation and beauty for us. Owner was very timely communicating with me. Lovely long weekend.

We loved our stay here and the house was a delightful reunion spot for our sibling reunion. The owners were so responsive and helpful! We enjoyed the deck and the beach and the house, which was so well equipped. Our elder siblings had a hard time with the stairs so they didn't do much beach walking, but they were content. We would highly recommend this lovely home.

Clean and very nice home. We really enjoyed being right on the beach. The access and views were just as described. We will definitely be returning. Owners were very prompt at responding.

Our group of family/friends have rented several houses over the years for our annual ladies retreat. This property is by far our favorite. It’s located on a quiet section of the beach with a very convenient & easy walkover bridge. The house was gorgeous, extremely clean & very well stocked with more than just the basics. Beautiful relaxing views, comfortable beds & spacious bedrooms. Really appreciate the extra space on the property for parking all of the vehicles. We all look forward to staying here again.

From the moment we got out of the truck we could hear the waves. Then once you walk up the stairs the view is breathtaking. Walking in the house, everything was clean and cool. We had plenty of room for our group of 8 adults and 4 kids. The kitchen was well equipped and having a high chair, playpen and monitors was a plus. AMAZING LOCATION
