This property has a huge backyard and is just a short walk into town. The house is 70's beach shack which is great. There are good bedrooms, I thought at first the bed was going to be wayyy too soft when I sat on it but I slept very well and it was very comfy no niggles in the morning. A nice walk into town (5 minutes or so). Love that we were given the option of all rooms even though there were 4 of us, and respectfully we only used what we needed) Negatives: It is generally well set up but the outdoor furniture does not look like it is usable, one of the couches in the lounge room is way too old uncomfortable and lumpy to sit on and there are chairs broken in the lounge (antique types in the lounge that just look like they are ready for reupholstering not for sitting.) It is always a hassle taking own linen and paying close to $400 a night it was a bit of a burn, but I think that is just the way things are. There are lots of places to sit and areas in the house so it isn't much of a drama and I would stay again. With the price I would just suggest investing back in to the place and getting a new outdoor setting and couch and you are good for a perfect seaside stay! So great being able to take our doggy too! Everything was thought out for this house. So easy to become familiar with and easy to access all needs. Befs wete super comfy and house layout was great for two couples and an extra. Plenty of beds for more people if needed. I should have asked Kate for sun umbrella for the deck. The only downfall being little eaves which prevented outdoor shelter from rain and sun, but this would not deter from renting this gem again..

This was a much needed trip away from Melbourne after the lock down and this was the perfect property, especially with our 1 year old Labrador puppy. The house is nice, specious and with everything that you (and your fur baby) would need. The back yard is super sized and our lab just loved it.. He had so much fun running around and playing fetch 🐶🐕 Host Kate is very prompt in her replies and a generous host. Thanks Kate, we will certainly return back sometime soon.

Situated a couple of blocks from the main shopping in Apollo Bay, a great position. The house is well appointed, a good size - not too large - with a really lovely, homely feel. We felt quite at home as soon as we arrived. Like a true holiday home there is a range of spices, tea, coffee, cereals, pasta etc etc that people have left for the next people to use. The bed we slept in was COMFORTABLE - soft but supportive, rather than the hard we have found elsewhere. A large fenced garden where the dogs were happy to wander, and where we sat a caught the sun on the good days (where is spring this year?). Apollo bay of course is well positioned - we enjoyed the shops there, and Lorne and port Campbell were near by for variation. Suites is perfectly

This was a great house for our family getaway for a week. Clean, spacious, bright and stocked with everything you need. Great location close to everything. Our dogs also enjoyed the well-fenced yard.

The property was so clean and in a ideal location, pity the weather was not so good, but the entire 2 days was great and relaxing, our 2 dogs also loved it with the secure fencing all around. Thank You Kate also for your prompt answers to my question, would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful weekend away with my partner and our friends exploring apollo bay, the Otways and the 12 apostles. I also brought my pup for her first holiday and was extremely excited to see how HUGE the backyard was for her to enjoy. It was also very secure so could explore the National Parks without worrying for my pup playing in the backyard.

We had a great stay. House was very clean, beds were comfy, plenty of space for a couple of families. Back yard is great for kids and dogs.

We had an amazing time at Kate’s place. Myself, husband, 3 kids and our Labrador all loved it. Big, well laid out house, enormous backyard, secure fences, short walk to beautiful beach, shops, cafes, pubs. Lovely big deck out the back. Apollo Bay was such a friendly and dog friendly town. We could take our dog to both pubs for dinner. We would love to stay again soon.

We had a great getaway at Sea Salt for two families with young kids, and a couple of friends. Short stroll to the beach, huge backyard for the kids and the dog, kitchen was well equipped for big group cook-ups, and a huge dining table to fit everyone. We’ll be sure to book again for our next trip to Apollo Bay.

We were so happy with property, everyone was comfortable, beds were too. Hugh back yard heaps of fruit and lemons. Enough areas for seating, kitchen was pretty good and close to everything

Excellent place for a beach family get away! Location was amazing and kids could access skate park and beach easily. Kate’s place was clean and huge backyard for cricket! We loved it!

It was excellent facilities as well as a lovely place to stay. It was so nice to be able to go away with our dog as well, so special. Kate was a fantastic host.

I stayed in Kate's place over Christmas with 6 other adults (3 couples, one single and a dog). The house had plenty of space for everyone including a big dining table and large back garden with a bbq and decking. Location is perfect at just 5 mins walk from shops/the pub and the beach. The house had plenty of kitchenware for eating in/cooking (although no coffee plunger!). Would definitely recommend to stay here for a group of friends/large family.

We had such a wonderful stay in Apollo Bay. Kate’s property is spacious, clean and bright. All the amenities of home and so much space, especially in the backyard meant our family (including our 6yo and puppy) had loads of room to release energy or find a quiet spot. Kate communicated with us clearly throughout the process making the whole experience easeful. We look forward to returning again and again.
