We couldn't have envisioned a better location for our stay in Manteo. This rental property was spotless, comfortable and convenient to the historic district and waterfront. The owner was friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay again!

My sister and I found this property to be the perfect spot for a nice getaway at the Outer Banks. The house was extremely clean and the communication with Tod was very clear and helpful. We enjoyed walking around the historic neighborhood and found the location to be very close to everything we wanted to do.

The cottage was charming, the check-in process a breeze and the location was perfect. We were in walking distance of the Manteo social district. I would highly recommend for a cozy and quiet stay.

Tod’s place was great and conveniently located in downtown Manteo. It was nice to be able to walk to shops and dining locations in town. The boardwalk along the water front is also close to the home. Highly recommend.

Tod’s cottage was perfect for our anniversary getaway. Spotless, comfortable and stocked with everything you need for a relaxing time. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shoppes. Definitely would go back again!

We lived our stay in the cottage. Tod was fantastic and easy to reach. He accommodated our last minute booking and made staying there super simple. The cottage is immaculately clean, perfectly sized for a couple and walking distance to town. We hope to come back to visit again soon.

Great location in Manteo. The over-garage apartment is very well done and has everything you need for a stay. It’s nice that there are three separate rooms…bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/tv room. We have already booked our next visit here.

We enjoyed the property. Cable connection was inconsistent. Didn't rate 5 due to an uncomfortable sofa. Although we were out and about most of the time. Location was great! Todd was very friendly. We would return.

Property and area were nice. We had an issue with the air conditioner the 2nd day we were there. I called and text the owner around 4, he got back to me within a half hour. He did get someone to fix it but not until 9. Other then that the stay was fine

Super cute little cottage in Manteo! This was our first time not staying oceanfront but this little town didn’t disappoint. We still spent most of our time at the beach and found the closest public beach access to be about 15 minutes away which isn’t terrible. It was within close proximity to nags head as well so we didn’t have to drive far for eating out/shopping. My only complaint is that there’s no TV in the bedroom and the TV in the living room only picked up a few channels, and the pillows were a little uncomfy. Otherwise was an excellent stay in a super cute location and would definitely recommend/stay here again!

I said last year that we would be back...and the second time was a charm! We adore this carriage house and the fact that it is in a beautiful subdivision in Manteo within walking distance of Downtown Manteo is icing on the cake!

Host was friendly and check in was welcoming . The studio apartment was perfect for a couples getaway and the location was in walking distance of the town and short driving distance to beaches and Restaurants . Will book again next vacation.

We made a last minute change in vacation plans and found this cute gem of a cottage! Our stay was for a week and we absolutely loved the cottage... clean, comfortable and well supplied in every way, with easy parking out front. The downtown historic harbor of Manteo with restaurants and shops is just a few minutes walk. Tod was a wonderful host and very responsive to questions! Highly recommend! We hope to come back!

We stayed here for 5 nights; beautiful private cottage with all the amenities. Great location - about 10ish minutes to Nags Head and the beaches. Definitely felt more local and less touristy, which I think we both appreciated. Lots of good places to eat and we never had issues finding parking at any of the public beach accesses.
Tod (the host) was also great! Very communicative and offered some great food recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

The unit was in lovely condition, just as advertised, and was perfect for the two of us. We stayed a week and would love to come back. It's also in a great location, you can walk to downtown Manteo's restaurants, shops, and the festival park very easily. Tod was a great host!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It's the perfect size for 2 people, very clean, nicely furnished and basic supplies were provided. We also enjoyed the view of the baseball/soccer field and the convenient location in Manteo. We highly recommend the property and look forward to another stay in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts provided us with great suggestions and quickly replied to messages. Manteo itself is great and the apartment’s location allowed us to walk to restaurants and shops and we were just a short drive away from beautiful beaches. We were sad to leave!

We had a fantastic weekend stay at Caroline Cottage. The cottage is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We love that the cottage is so close to downtown Manteo. Our trip included an event at nearby Festival Park - It was so convenient to be able to walk. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at the shoreline dock at the end of the street. We would stay again!

Easy check in and the property lives up to the other rave reviews. Air conditioning was great and kept up nicely even with 90-98 degree temperatures. Would stay again. Quiet and safe area.

You have the perfect little oasis here. I loved walking around the neighborhood in the morning with my coffee and admiring the beautiful flowerbeds. In the evenings it took just a couple minutes walk to the shops and restaurants in Downtown Manteo. This oasis had everything we needed and we will be back!
