Had such a wonderful time in such a beautiful home and location. Everything was perfect. Welcome package super helpful and appreciated. I couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience. Our children (6 and 8) never wanted to leave. Balcony, surrounding landscape and proximity to center / beach was perfect and serene. Loved it!

The floors upon arrival were still dirty, crumbs and sand etc ... They were quick to come back out and clean them which was much appreciated! The furniture and rugs are showing wear and tear and their appears to be mold growing on the walls and ceiling in the upstairs bath. The AC does not keep up enough to cool the upstairs - we had to turn it WAY low to get the upstairs comfortable. Bathrooms are newly remodeled but not enough counter space in the upstairs front bathroom, and the shelf in the shower leans so all your toiletries fall to the floor. We used a towel to help hold them in place! Great location, cute home! Just needs a little TLC and its own upstairs AC unit.

The property was beautiful but we were disappointed with the hidden fees. The bait and switch I should say. The fees equated to 100% or more of the nightly rental. We were looking for a short get away for our son who is leaving for bootcamp. He is leaving soon so we had to act quickly to rent something. He wanted seaside, so we chose something which fell within our budget. Once the owner fees and the VRBO fees were added our cost was double. We will not use VRBO again. The owners should be paying VRBO for renting their property. The renters should not have to pay a fee. That is ridiculous and a scam if you ask me. I will tell everyone I know not to use VRBO.

The porch is wonderful and it faces the morning sun, so afternoons are shaded.

House was absolutely gorgeous. A couple of disappointments regarding Homeowners Collection. 1. We called, as instructed, when we were an hour away and were told agent would meet us at 2:00. We waited for 1.5 hours on the porch with multiple calls made. We would have stopped in town to eat if only we were told agent would be delayed. 2. We were not told of the 8pm curfew for minors during Spring Break. We were serving sandwiches and snacks to a group with adults supervising one evening and had security come by to complain about the level of noise and that we had too many people on the porches. Wish we were told this restriction before we arrived or upon arrival by the agent. this is a lovely house to entertain and 8pm curfew was restrictive.

We have a deep attachment to this house...We bought the lot, hired the architect, Tom Christ, and had Benoit Laurent, one of the best builders on 30-A, build it. We have so many happy memories there and we just spent spring break with our daughter, son-in-law and our four grandchildren at Saratoga. Of course our time there was during a simpler time- when it was less crowded, and even Bud, Robert Davis’ little dachshund, used to trot independently around Seaside. And, we remember Mr and Mrs Modica where we used to let our daughter go to their grocery and charge small purchases. We were so pleased with how well the house has been maintained. Now there’s a great foos ball game to play, so now our grandchildren want their own. 😊 We hope the owners and guests love Saratoga (originally called Dream Chaser) as much as we have. Bright, comfortable, location convenient to everything.

We arrived late - we were sent several codes, none of which worked, they sent out a handyman to let us in. We were told they’d bring cooler of ice for groceries and never did until the 2nd day. Refrigerator never cooled and all the groceries we bought Friday spoiled. Refrigerator repair guy showed up unannounced and didn’t care they we had guests coming over; came again, also without our knowledge, and kids in the house... not the kind of stay we’re accustomed to from seaside. Hopefully the homeowners were made aware; as we’d want to know.

Beautiful home, great porches and location. Outdoor shower was nice after a day at the beach. Just a short walk everywhere. Management company was very helpful. We would stay here again.
