This property completely exceeded my expectations. The description of the property truly doesn't do it justice. It was one of the best equipped rental homes I've ever stayed in. The attention to detail throughout the property was impeccable. I loved that even though it felt remote enough to feel exclusive, it was still close to everything I needed. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Mike came to our rescue when the place we initially booked canceled our stay last minute. We were fortunate to be able to stay at his place. It was very quiet and set off the beaten path. We enjoyed an abundance of wildlife-osprey trying to chase away eagles. We were leaving for dinner one night and unfortunately had to scare away the doe with 2 fawns and the 4 rabbits in the yard. Having coffee or a glass of wine on the deck over looking the water was great too. Mike was very responsive with any questions we had. The house is well stocked with everything you need and more. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an absolute blast staying at this beautiful house. The kids had so much fun playing, fishing, and crabbing off of both docks. The house itself was perfect for two families to share and enjoy. I would go back in a second. Thanks Michael!

We had an amazing stay. Views were absolutely breathtaking and the house was very clean and well stocked. Host was very responsive. We look forward to future visits to this home.

The house had everything we needed for a great week away. We really didn’t need to bring anything besides our clothes and personal things. There were even spare phone chargers and flashlights. The kitchen is very well-equipped and we enjoyed several fresh seafood meals at the house. The view is the best part, though, and watching the sunrise from the deck was my favorite thing. We rented kayaks and paddle boards and the teens enjoyed them a lot but we probably would have been fine with a one day rental as opposed to the whole week as we took several day trips away from the house to Haven Beach and Williamsburg and Jamestown and antiquing. Hole in the Wall was a great spot for dinner. Two of us enjoyed a chartered fishing trip and caught lots of Spanish Mackerel. This was the first time the guide didn’t clean the fish though, and that was a pain to do ourselves especially since the price of the charter was equal or higher than what we usually pay with fish-cleaning included. But we had everything we needed to do the job at the house. The mosquitos weren’t a problem. There were a few as expected in a marshy area but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared they would be. We definitely had a great time and hope to come back.

This is a fantastic cottage that has everything you may need. They have thought of everything. I would highly recommend!

Overall we had a fabulous time! The house is beautiful, clean and has wonderful views. The porch screens had a few holes and couldn't get the ceiling fans to work, but didn’t stop us from enjoying a morning cup of coffee, just might have stayed longer if no bugs and a breeze. We loved the large umbrella on the back dock! We think the other doc could use one just like it (wink wink) but we all had a blast, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, swimming and wakeboarding. Bring your bug spray, the mosquitoes are ruthless but leave the rest at home, this place has it all. We can tell you have put a lot of love and work into the house. Thank you for sharing it with us! We would love to return someday.

This place was amazing. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need and very clean. The view was incredible and I will be staying again! Only negative was the beach was smaller than expected and didn’t fit our family, and mosquitos were quite relentless though we did expect them due to the marsh. Overall a wonderful house and host. Can’t wait to go again

Incredible accommodations, beautiful location with the bay on both sides. Impeccably decorated and extremely clean interior, welcoming atmosphere with full kitchen amenities, necessities all provided (towels, etc.) Powerful and accurate air conditioning/heating and medical-grade air purifier meant that we were always comfortable indoors. Beds were very good, and we as a family often find it difficult to sleep on vacation, we slept great! Recommendations for places to eat and things to do were all spot-on, we had a wonderful and relaxing time, owner was very easy to communicate with and responsive in the best ways but very respectful of our privacy. This was our third time staying here, and we'll be back again. House and property are great. Home was very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked with all cooking needs. Property is very well maintained and beautiful with plenty of outdoor activity options.

This was our 3rd time staying here. It offers the quiet time with beautiful water view we need! Everything is there, well stocked and clean.

House, grounds, location, and view were what we hoped for and got. House was well appointed and tasteful with the latest appliances and electronics well as having comfortable furniture arranged appropriately. Water view from large interior windows and elevated deck was wonderful and spectacular in the evening at sunset. Pampas grass, outdoor seating, and walkways were pleasing and orderly. Walk to boat dock was a little long but we grew to enjoy the walk over the salt marsh to the boat dock, In other words everything was just right.

This is a beautiful home well stocked with all your needs. You have access to both sides of the peninsula on sturdy walkways. The deck on the water is just right and has good shade. There is a nice yard and plenty of room on all outdoor decks and screen porches. We stayed outside all day and then had a fire in the pit at night - wood provided in the garage. One morning at six, the sun sat red on the horizon turning the water gold. I stood on the river deck as five dolphin made their way from up river back to the bay. Mesmerizing,

We had such a wonderful time staying at this house and wish we could have stayed longer! The house itself was so comfortable and had an open plan layout that we loved, and the views of the bay were amazing. We loved sitting on the deck for meals and admiring the views, and we had a lot of fun looking for crabs and other wildlife. The homeowner/host was always responsive to any questions, and we appreciated their hospitality. We had such a great time and hope to come back and stay at this house again!

This was one of favorite vacations we have ever had. The house was beautiful and well stocked. The water was warm with a sandy bottom. Our kids played in the water from daylight to dark. We fished from the pier and got a bit with every cast. The area was not commercialized and it was like we were the only people there for the whole week. We watched rays, dolphins, eagles, loons, osprey, and geese. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. We will be back!

We loved this refuge. A week of sea creatures and beaches and great meals. Everything we needed was there and we miss it already.

This home has absolutely everything you will need for a comfortable relaxing stay. It has magnificent views and would be a joy in any weather or season. All walkways and piers are clean and well-kept. We caught mini fish and crabs and enjoyed kayaking over to the island. It is very quiet and private and absolutely beautiful.

Great house with beautiful views from every angle. We saw stingrays, crabs and a bald eagle! And caught enough blue crabs to feed all eight of us! The house is well equipped and beautiful. Mike was very responsive when we had a question.

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation on Point Breeze. The home was very comfortable nicely appointed with an abundance of amenities. Situated in a park like setting with two waterfronts and salt marsh make water sports and nature watching effortless and enjoyable.

Exactly what we were looking for. A quiet / relaxing vacation. Property was perfect; quiet, clean and very well decorated!

The property was beautiful and the stay was relaxing. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle this was a great retreat. We enjoyed mornings and evening on the deck as well as sitting around the campfire ring. It is a little bit of a drive to areas of tourist attractions like Williamsburg but we didn’t mind coming back to a relaxed location. The beach on the property was a little too small for our family but we enjoyed Haven beach which was not busy and mostly locals. The kids enjoyed catching and release crabs off the pier and it’s a great location for bird watching. We really enjoyed our stay in Virginia at this beautiful beach house.

This was our second time staying at this home, and it was just as great as the first time. Home has everything you need and has the best stocked kitchen of any rental house we've stayed at. Very relaxing with lots of outdoor activities (fishing, kayaking, walking, bird watching, etc.). Mike is a great host and provided great communication. Would highly recommend this property.
