Great property and location. Unfortunately fishing was very spotty and disappinting.

Wonderful location wirh a great sandy beach. If you have young kids this is the place for you! Enjoyed fires on the beach every night. Clean inside and master bed very comfortable!

Everything was as described. Great location on the lake. Good fishing, a nice beach, lots of fun, everything needed was available. Excellent response when required from the host. I would stay again.

The location was great! Right on Leech Lake, with easy access to other lakes. The house was very welcoming with an adorable fireplace and all the supplies that we needed! The garage was very spacious as well! Can’t wait to come back next year!

First -- we picked this because it was DOG FRIENDLY, which is very much appreciated. Overall, a very nice cabin, well-stocked and ready to roll. It's not brand new, but its obviously not very old and very well-maintained. We also enjoyed the wood-burning stove and supplied firewood (our dog loved it, too). It was cold outside, and plenty warm inside. A few small cons: - Musty basement... it's not that much of a problem, but when you first enter the house, there's a landing that has stairs up to the home, or down to the basement... so... you smell it as soon as you walk into the house. Sorry, it was kind of gross. - the strict 10am checkout time felt unnecessarily stressful on a quiet and frigid December morning - No recycling available, so we packed it out and took it home with us. I hope others will do that too. - watch for ice on the access road... it was my fault, but I slid off the road and into a ditch, and had to call a tow truck to drag me out at 11pm. whoops. At least it was a short walk back to the cabin to wait for them to arrive. Otherwise, a very nice cabin, and a very nice stay. I'd totally go again, any season.

Loon Lodge was the perfect place to go to escape and relax! The house is wonderful and has everything you need, is close enough to town but also isolated enough to enjoy peace, quiet and all the beauty of northern Minnesota. We had a great stay and hope to visit again in the future!

Just returned from a great week. The space was one of the cleanest rentals I’ve experienced. We have two young kiddos (2 & 4) and the shallow and sandy entry to the lake was such a perk. Grandma and Grandpa also traveled and enjoyed the space, deck, and the ability to walk out to the pontoon (we rented) and go for a ride. If you’re considering this place, go for it, you won’t be disappointed!

Three family members and their spouses rented the house for the week. Did a lot of fishing and relaxing on the deck. Wasn’t real far from town so shopping was easy. Would rent this house again.

Very nice cabin which is well decorated. Very clean and updated. Nice garage for parking. Well stocked kitchen. Right on the lake with the ability to use a kayak. Highly recommend for a family to stay.

This is our third time staying at this property. Rick does an awesome job with Loon Lodge and this recent stay was no exception. The property is clean and well kept. I did some fat biking during our stay and having the garage available is a huge plus. Enjoyed a fire outside on Friday night. The neighborhood is very quiet. If you like ice fishing, this would be an ideal place to base out of.

Details for your stay are very well thought by the owner. Very nice floor plan. Only negative is if you are here to fish and have a 18' foot or larger boat you have to watch the wind because you cannot lift the boat out of the water and running the boat on shore is not a great option as it is a very shallow beach.

The home was clean, very well equipped, and functional. We had plenty of space for 4 adults, 2 kids, and a dog. You can’t beat the sandy beach and nice sandy, shallow lake for swimming with kids. Beautiful place and fantastic location!!

We had a great time! The kids loved the beach,swimming and taking rides in the kayak! Such a relaxing time!! Bonfires & relaxation had by all! :)
