Villa 43 and the family who run it are exceptional . The rooms are modern, comfortable and have wonderful views of the lake , and there is a lovely dining/ breakfast room leading onto a pretty garden where one can go straight into the lake to swim and / or kayak . We ate lake caught fish for dinner there which was delicious , and the breakfast was very good too .
However , even more impressive was the care they took of us when having rented kayaks from them, a storm set in when we were a little way down the coast . We had to park on the kayaks on a beach and the owner came to look for us , others met us with towels after we had hiked back and they retrieved the kayaks the next morning , all without making us feel bad ( although we did ). We hugely recommend this place .

Lugar agradable y tranquilo para disfrutar de un pueblo con encanto a la orilla del lago Ohrid. Habitación cómoda con todo lo necesario y con balcon para relajarse y disfrutar de la tranquilidad. Los anfitriones hacen todo lo posible para que tu estancia sea lo más confortable posible. Recomendable para viajeros que buscan la tranquilidad.
El wifi no funcionó correctamente y tuvimos que usar toda la estancia de nuestros datos móbiles.

Fantastische Lage am Ohridsee mit direktem Seezugang. Schöne, moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nette Gastgeber.
Die Vila ist nicht ganz leicht zu finden. Ein größeres Schild wäre hilfreich.

Vila 43 is a stunning villa in a stunning location. It is very modern, and has charming finishes such as the beautiful stonework and glass balustrades on elevated balconies overlooking Lake Ohrid.
The owners and staff were very warm .

Líbilo se nám umístění v klidné části rybářské osady. Celkový styl, vzhled, zařízení domu a pohostinost majitelů. Byli jsme nadšeni, že jsme se od syna dozvěděli příběh celé rodiny a její vazby k místu, kde provozují ubytování.
Nemáme nic, co bychom vytkli.

Struktura e viles 43 ishte nje strukture e re, me dhoma shume te mora dhe pamje mahnitese perballe liqenit. Lehtesisht e aksesueshme dhe pronaret te siguronin edhe parkimin.
Do t’ju a rekomandoja te qendronit ne vilen 43 per pastertine dhe qetesine qe te ofronte.
Personi qe menaxhonte vilen shume i qete dhe i edukuar. Na priti shume mire dhe ishte i gatshem te na ndihmonte per cdo gje.

The views, the parking, the diner and breakfast on the lake, the quietness, the very nice hosts, we were able to have our laundry done. Definitely recommend!
No AC and blinds in our room which was a bit uncomfortable for us as we like to wake up in the dark (but this is only personal preference)

We loved our stay at Villa 43 Lin. The family that runs the villa is extremely nice and friendly, always eager to help. The food they prepare is simply amazing. The villa is located right next to Lake Ohrid, allowing guests to sunbathe on the terrace, swim, or rent a kayak. The atmosphere is peaceful, calm, beautiful, and serene. I will definitely return and recommend that you stay for at least two nights.
Everything was amazing. The only thing "missing" for some people might be air conditioning. However, they have fans, and even in the summer, the evenings tend to get cooler. So, if you keep a window open, it's comfortable.

We stayed for two nights in different rooms due to limited availability. The first night, we had a top-floor room with a lake view, and on the second night, we had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake.

We adored our stay at Vila 43, the location was incredible and we would return in a heartbeat. I loved having home cooked meals for dinner - especially as they were kind enough to cater for us as two vegans. My boyfriend eats a LOT of food and they provided plenty of food.
The view with our meal was the most spectacular I've ever eaten to, and the wine they provided was delicious and perfectly cold.
Kayaking on the lake was a lovely addition, as well as their young family member, who was very charismatic and spoke very good English which made communicating easier for us as two brits.
There was no air conditioning, which I completely appreciate may not ordinarily be needed, but it was very hot when we visited and we had to sleep with wet towels on to stay cool.
There was also a very rude man near the parking for vila 43. This is by no means the owners' fault but it wasn't nice to be shouted at by the man who I assume resided close to the parking.

Great view at the lake, nice garden, quiet and peaceful.
They serve really nice food in the evening.
The prices are a bit high for that region, but to us it was absolutely worth it
They have loud frogs in the evening. I liked them, but someone complained. But it’s nature, so to me that’s a weird complaint. But if you don’t like frogs, don’t go there ;)

The loveliest stay at this hotel. Staff were incredible friendly & the food is delicious. Beautiful views outside of the lake whilst you eat breakfast or fresh fish for dinner. The setting is incredible, very peaceful and quiet! Views from balcony amazing! Room was clean and spacious.

The patience and tolerance from Madjana, Sylvania and Naum was next level. They opened their entire home and talked us through everything they were cooking. Googletranslate copped a hiding as we passed the phone back and forth to enquire about everything we experienced. What a fantastic way to spent our first night in Albania.

We had a fantastic stay at Vila 43 in Lin. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and the dining room is modern, warm and inviting. Our hosts cooked fantastic homemade meals for us and were very accommodating and nice. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore Lake Ohrid.

This was our favorite place in Albania (3 week journey).
The hosts Naum and Madiana are very friendly, the home-made food is awesome and we really enjoyed sitting at the cozy fireplace. The whole location is really nice, clean and welcoming.

The family was so friendly and kind, English speaking kids and friends helped us converse and a bit of italian and google translate achieved the rest. Naum and Mariana were wonderful hosts. we nicknamed Mariana masterchef for her delicious meals, we ate here both nights and loved it. The location is superb, right on the lake, and secure parking with easy access just a couple doors away. Do yourself a favour and stay here in Lin.
Not often do we give such high marks, but well deserved here.

The location near the lake. As extra activities, you could go with the kayas for 5 euros per person.
The hosts were very friendly and you could have a traditional dinner for another 10 euros per person.

This was an incredible palce! Modern, very clean rooms in a beautiful house right at the lake, very idyllic and quiet area, really nice owners who made us feel very welcome and prepared wonderful food for us! Parking space was great too, which isn't that easy in this area.
We definitely will come back one day! Thank you!

Everything was perfect. The place was in a very good area. The owner was very friendly and helped us with our request. Everything was very clean. The food was delicious. We will go again.

This is the first time I've ever left a review for an acoomodation because everything was absolutely amazing. The owners' family and staff made me feel welcomed and warm. Stunning villa with beautiful view over Lake Ohrid and mountains, right in the heart of the village. I'll come back one day with my family.

The rooms are of very high standard. But the best about this place is the lovely family who is hosting it. They offer best service but moreover, care about their guests with honest hospitality! The whole family welcomes you! I can really recommend the place to stay for couple of nights or also longer!
There was garbage in the lake, but this unfortunately is a general problem

We felt immediately at home and had great fun communicating with Naum and Madjana - they are great sports. The facilities and service are a credit to them, and their son Mihal. We extended our stay.
There is nothing to dislike.
