The service, the room was very dirty and The bathroom smelled horrible. We had a problem with the shower also. So many problems during our stay. I don't recommend this place for family

Packed breakfast for when going to tours early, and laundry service
The shower had no flow and was almost only cold. Our room was full with ants all the time, it was unpleasant. There is no sound proofing.

It’s good, but there were ants on the food
The website said is close to the malecón, but in taxi, not walking; ants everywhere, on the bed, water; everywhere…. In front of the hotel is a volleyball court; where taxi drivers play at night; very noisy, screams, very late at night . The staff is really nice!

The room was nice and big. It got cleaned every day. Good value for the money.
The pool area was a little bit dirty, the little pool was closed all the time. The way from the busy place in San Cristobal where most of the restaurants etc are, is 15 min walk away. The hotel lies on a hill so the walk back can be really exhausting. But there are many taxis for only 2 dollar per ride.

The structure of the hotel is really nice, the staff was very professional and offer their help at all times of the day. We did not use the pool but it was a nice option to have.
After our check in, we entered the room and noticed the bathroom wall was dirty. This should have not happened in the first place but we requested it to be cleaned as we were leaving for our tour. We expected the room to be ready on our way back but we had to send a new request and waited 45 minutes for someone to show up and clean only that wall instead of the whole bathroom.

Very quiet room, very wide and with a lot of beds
There were not a lot of people at our stay, and there were not a lot of noise

I originally liked the price, the review score, and the pictures. In the end, I like that we got to stay elsewhere without being charged.
It said they take credit cards, but they charge you more if you use them. Additionally, I don’t the toilets would hold up if you really had to go, the lights were dim, and it was about as far from everything as you could get and still stay in town.

Arena Blanca was a great little place. The staff (family) that worked there were very nice and helpful. We had breakfast everyday and it was great

The hotel was great. The room was spacious, very clean and the staff was wonderful.
The location wasn't the best, a bit of a walk from downtown, but cabs were plentiful and cheap

Large pool, great for the kids. Breakfast was great. Very friendly staff. Free drinking water provided.
A bit far out of town up the hill, but 10min walk was ok. The listed restaurant and whirlpool were not in operation, likely indefinitely. Should be removed from the listing.

10 minutes walk to the center. Very basic rooms. Breakfast quite plain, but sufficient.
The rooms can be very noisy. Especially on the weekends when everything from outside can be heard in the rooms. Very thin walls. Not sure how the noise level is in the rooms on the back side.

Everything. The room was lovely and the bed was incredibly comfy. Lovely hot shower and breakfast was great every morning. The staff on reception were amazing, so helpful in organising excursions and taxis. The location was great as it it just slightly away from the main street so it is a lovely point from which to explore. Nothing is too far away and there is a gorgeous pool in which to relax.
