EVERYTHING! This hotel was amazingly grand! we spent most of our time in the piano room so beautiful. we went around Christmas so the decorations were beautiful!!

Excellent location to explore Bruges from. Close to all attractions. The room had all the expected features to make for a very comfortable stay.

My wife I have travelled for many years and stayed in many places. We spent our 25 year anniversary at the Hotel Die Swaene and were more than impressed with everything. The interior and the facilities were very nice and clean. The location was perfect and very quite.

The bed was a little hard and she rain shower didn't get very warm.

Room not quite what we were expecting

Ornately decorated so it felt like a stately home, but didn't lack for cosiness. Friendly, helpful staff made us feel welcome. The swimming pool and sauna area were modern and clean and a pleasure to use. The lounge with an honesty bar was a great place to chill out too.

There were a few slap dash bits of paint and cheaper finishing in the bathroom and toilet, but pretty minor.

Location is great

We loved the location because of its proximity to the town center - so convenient. The hotel is quintessential.

The mirror in the bathroom is placed for tall people.

Fantastic location, right in the middle of the city - a very short walk to all the main sights meaning if you get up early you can see the Bruges hits basically crowd free. Room spacious and too a high standard. Stunning communal bar upstairs with lovely view over the canal. The staff were very helpful with suggestions and even let us know when we left something behind upon check out - they 100% went above and beyond. Swimming pool facilities was a great little bonus.

Location is a bit of a walk from the train and main bus station and there is no way of avoiding the crowded canal sides - if you have a lot of luggage, consider a taxi.

noisy elevator next to my room, smell of chlorine in the hallway ( the pool was separated only via a rubber curtain), pool was a bit cold

Wonderfull hotel great location and fabulous breakfast

The lovely staff were so helpful in providing information. We used all of the guides and maps and found wonderful hidden gems during our stay in Bruuge! The area with the piano and drinks fridge was gorgeous. I loved the decor and the ambience. The pool facility was also amazing! I would definitely stay again next time I am in Bruuge!

Room was dirty, A/C was not working and bedroom was smelling

Beautifully decorated in keeping with the buildings history. Friendly staff and a wonderful location.

Breakfast is too pricey so I would go out for breakfast if I returned
