lo que más nos gustó es la amabilidad el personal, la ubicación del hotel, el desayuno y la piscina.
Nos pusieron en la habitación nº1 pegada a la recepción y teníamos muchísimo ruido, sumado además que estabamos pegados al cuarto de la caldera y también sonaba muchísimo. Ibamos con un bebé de 6 meses y la pobre se levantaba asustada.

Excellent acceuil, très bon petit déjeuner, chambre très propre, mais pas de parking, il est à proximité et payant sinon il faut se garer dans la rue, je ne comprends pas que booking ne le précise pas.

- sehr freundliches Personal, vor allem Rachel hat immer versucht zu helfen und uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten
- sehr gutes Frühstück; Preis eigentlich EUR 9,50, aber wenn man ein paar Tage da ist kann man das Frühstück für EUR 8 haben
- Rachel hat uns für wenig Geld gleich in der Nähe eine Garage für die Motorräder organisiert, damit diese nachts sicher stehen...top!
- man bekommt auch im Hotel bis 23.30 Uhr etwas zu essen
- kurzer Fußweg zum Strand und zum Hafen
- riesiges Bett
- die Zimmer zur Straße raus (Frontansicht) sind leider laut, Ohropax ist empfohlen, vor allem wenn das Fenster zwecks Belüftung offen bleiben soll; ich habe daher nicht so gut geschlafen
- als Kissen dienen längliche Rollen; das kann dazu führen, dass der Kopf abknickt; nicht gut für Bauch- und Rückschläfer; ein normales Kopfkissen ist eben dort eher unüblich

The staff were all extremely polite and attentive; nothing was too much trouble and they were always approachable. The room and public areas were all spotless and tidy and the facilities were great. Would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay again.

This is a well-run hotel in a great location just 5 minutes from the beach promenade and its many restaurants, bars and shops. Málaga and the airport are easily accessed via the train station ( approximately 15 minutes walk). our room was comfortable, with a powerful shower, good wi fi and a large balcony. All staff are friendly and efficient and the entire hotel is kept spotlessly clean.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, on arrival we were given a warm welcome and had a very interesting chat with the team. Service was great at all times, breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choice including lovely home made cakes. Beds were very comfortable and the room had air-conditioning. Lovely big balcony with furniture. It may be a 3 star hotel but the service was totally 5 star. A well run hotel with a very hard working and dedicated team. An excellent stay. A big thank you to Antonio, Mercedes and Suzanna.

People there are wonderfull!! Accomodations are small, but good quality. The swimming pool area is nice, lobby is very cosy. Breakfast is good, big variety, parking place has enough space, location - very close to the sea.

I stayed in lots of hotels in torremolinos , this was lovely clean , lovely pool area , fab breakfast but most of all the staff there are amazing! so nice cheerful and did everything to help

Everything about the hotel is superb. Fabulous condition, great layout and facilities, great location for the beach and local restaurants, though above all the staff were next level. Couldn’t do enough for us and made my 4 year old feel like a superstar. The breakfast buffet was diverse and perfect for what we needed, and a personal recommendation for the happy hour cocktails! I would go here again in a heartbeat and it hands down beats a 4 star for me every time as if felt much more homely and personal.

On the booking website it said the rooms were soundproofed, ours certainly wasn't and you heard every noise in the room - no worse than any other spainish hotel. The road is also noisy at times.

Great value, considering the price I can’t fault the Montemar and would return. Some times a place just has a nice vibe and I’d say that’s Montemar.
My balcony at rear of hotel very inferior to the front ones, but that’s the luck of the draw I guess

Amazing staff, super friendly! The location is also good and it is a great value for the money!
The rooms are too close to each other. I was tired during the day and tried to sleep, but I could hear all the time people arriving or talking. It was not very comfy. However, during the night, it is good!
