Superb location with close bars and shops. Four mile beach at end of road 2 minutes away. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable bed with great linen. Two balconies overlooking pretty garden and pool. John handed over the keys and was helpful thought out our stay. Would thoroughly recommend this gem of a place to stay.

This place is the best location, only a short walk to four mile Beach which is just magnificent. The owner and staff were amazing, making me feel right at home. I was delighted to find out that 1 of the rooms is pet friendly so I'll definitely be bringing my dogs next time. So quiet and relaxing, pub across the road, what more could u want!!? And only a short drive or bike ride into Port douglas to do shopping and whatever other touristy things. I can't wait to visit again. Thankyou so much for being a part of my journey. Will be recommending to everyone I know.

Location is good and quit

The beds are outdated and hard to sleep. There was an electricity span, which spoiled some of our food products. The dishwasher was broken and only after a week another was placed.

Quirky and colourful. Not crowded. Quiet. Lovely pool and gardens. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The owner went out of his way to accommodate me as I arrived early, and on my last day he was very obliging and allowed me to check out later than usual.

The complex was quiet, well appointed, close to beach and close to pub and restaurant. The bus stop was just outside and it was a 10 minute drive into shopping precinct. Great place to relax.

It was very quiet away from the main drag only a walk to the beach easy bus pick ups and drop offs, John the owner was so helpful, met us late at night for the key, room was gorgeous so clean tidy and comfty can't wait to go back thanks John

Good sized rooms, good facilitied

Poor wifi access, need boosters in all rooms, this is a basic expectation in the 21st century!

Owner John very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities clean and set up great. Price was reasonable and we would stay again.

Location was a little away from the city centre but if you wanted to spend your time at the beach this was ideal.

The manager, John, came out to meet us when we arrived, took us to our apartment and saw to our every need with a smile. The apartment was clean, welcoming, beachy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The gardens and pool were delightfully tropical and wonderful to come home to each day. Having our vehicle under cover near our unit was great and the neighbourhood location was peaceful.

Dream Catcher is in a dream location. Near 4 Mile Beach for glorious morning walks, across the road from excellent coffee and food and easy drive into town. It’s peaceful paradise bliss.

Quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Port Douglas, but with pub across the road (hardly any noise) and one other restaurant and seafood take away in close proximity. Very nice apartment, colourful, Balinese furniture, comfortable bed. We had a deluxe studio with bifold doors which makes it basically in a separate bedroom, kitchenette, laundry facilities on each floor. Nice swimming pool and spa. Our unit on the first floor was very private with small balcony looking out on side street and neighbours garden. it was a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

Some maintenance issues, especially with the electricity, but the owner John is very helpful and forthcoming. The building is up for sale though.
