very friendly staff

the hotel is away from the town centre. it is also run down compared to the pictures. At the price charged I’d expect a higher finish. at the least not needing to wait 10 minutes for a waitress to tend the bar

Location was very good. Right on lakeside and a short walk into town. Excellent breakfast!

Our room was next to the kitchen and dining room. The staff were very noisy at times which made sitting outside our room unpleasant at times

Not really a 4☆, it lacks the finery I expect from a true 4☆. We had just come from the Excelsior San Marco in Bergamo and the difference is really visible. A typical example, only one person on reception when there is often a queue. The general condition of the hotel is dated and worn. The rooms are small and adequate, but quite tight, the gap between the wall and the bed is very small and with furniture in the way, it was quite a challange in the dark! They have lots of faults, ours the main door jamb was away from the wall, on a number of occasions we struggled to get the door open. The warbrobe shelf had lost a supporting pin so it would tip and try to fall out. We have a bedside light that you would switch on and it would immediately switch itslf off. The bathroom shower, the drencher needed some attention. These are not what I expect from a 4☆.

Spacious rooms, remodeled bathrooms. Good location - a small walk away from the center. Great view from spacious balcony if you get a room on the lake side (other side - road and neighboring houses).

Balcony doors were on the verge of breaking - hard to close.

Good wi-fi. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful personal. Perfect location.

Balcony is not safe for kids.

well located and close walking distance to main town; very nice pool with comfortable facilities - outside bar well kept, good service, helpful staff; plentiful buffet breakfast - very good selection and items replenished regularly. Car parking on site for small number of cars with street parking very close by also. Room had stunning view of the Lake.

Lack of plug points in room.

The location was excellent for walking into the main Desenzano area. The pool and bar area was perfect.
