The staff were polite friendly and helpful I had a great meal in the restaurant My room was great clean and very comfortable

I got no sleep due to there being a function on and party goers banging on my door and the party spilling out into the corridor tight outside my room the noise felt like the party was in my room it completely spoiled my stay I really feel I should have been informed about the function on booking or on arrival unacceptable noise levels

My room, room 4, was great. Clean, hospitable and quiet EXCEPT… the floorboards in the room above were ridiculously squeaky and noisy. I mean, really bad. I’m a heavy sleeper but couldn’t sleep until the guests above were in bed, then they woke me every time they got up. this is my only complaint.

Reception closed at 3, so had to go to the pub to get any assistance which wasn’t the best especially on a Friday night when it was busy. 3 of us in the room but only given 1 towel when we arrived. Bed was super uncomfortable, could feel the springs in the bed. Entrance door to our part of the hotel was jammed and so was left ajar several times (by other guests) during our stay.

We arrived Friday afternoon on Saturday morning there was no breakfast available I went to reception asked for milk and coffee the guy on reception refused it and told me I had to go to the shop, our towels never got changed till Tuesday and the bed never got changed once, our towels only got changed because a cleaning lady came back from holiday the bar near our room was loud everyday and night not Worth £370 or what ever they charged wasn't like this on our last stay there highly disappointed

Walls are paper thin, could hear absolutely everything. Bathroom doors badly fitted - made a terrible noise. Mattresses very uncomfortable.

Good sized room with a comfy bed, friendly staff & a good bar / pub restaurant (was well priced & good pub grub).

Bathroom roof needed repainting, loose tile & low shower pressure.

The staff were very pleasant. I made them aware of some of the issues and they were very apologetic.

My young daughter, husband and i stayed for one night. •cigarette ends in bathroom bin, didn't know this until we arrived back from Dinner at 2200 so the room stunk of smoke even after I emptied the bin. •toilet roll holder broken •beds very uncomfortable and loud when moving on them. •we could hear every movement from the room above walking around between 0100 and 0400. •duvets were very thin. • socket at bed side wasn't working and would spark if you tried to move your plug. There is a definite need for investment. It is more a workies hotel than families.
