old but well maintained property- a bit tired looking but nevertheless ok. Great views from cathedral view rooms. no parking by property but car park conveniently close by across cathedral square.

From the friendly welcome, the general ambiance of the hotel, to the location, near to everything that we wanted, our stay could not have been better. A generous breakfast for a reasonable price was a great start to the day

Great location very close to the Cathedral. Charming period property thoughtfully converted. Comfortable room with good sized shower room and excellent shower. Somewhat idiosyncratic interior decoration (quirky bedside lights and chairs emerging from walls in the breakfast room). Very good breakfast.

Lovely staff. Unusual building with an inner courtyard reached by inside and outside stairs. Good bread and nice cheese selection at breakfast. Plenty of hot water.

Fruit salad at breakfast wasn’t freshly made. You need window shutters down to ensure privacy which made room a bit claustrophobic. If you’re not good on stairs this place won’t suit you.

The staff were extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The location is very handy to the cathedral and old town.
